They have an impressive array of equipment (very large CnC machine, 24 planer to name a few) along with a very knowledgeable staff who were able to handled all of my detailed requests with ease.

We were looking for a specific picture rail profile to match a rail which was installed 20 years ago. Skokie Millwork had a knife to perfectly match the old profile, and ran enough poplar stock to allow us to complete the rail throughout our exhibit spaces. Theyve now become my go-to place for millwork needs.

Had to have flame birch custom milled,and it has a reputation for being difficult to work with. I also wanted to make sure they showed the best figuring on each board. They did a great job on all counts.
