This donut shop is the best in town I never had a donut melt in my mouth until I ate here

Camelia city deauxnuts is amazing! I’ve tried every other doughnut shop in Slidell & I always come back to Camelia. It’s the only place that I have found to have hot glaze doughnuts anytime I go there. I have to pass other doughnut shops to get to them but it is so worth it!

The donuts were okay, not the best donuts that i ever have. I came here around 7:10am and the girls behind the counter were nice to me. Good customer service here, but maybe i was a bit too late for fresh donuts. I got all the donuts as you see in the picture, and some of the donuts i ate such as the Cereal Donut tasted just pure sugar, wayy too sweet, felt old, and lack flavor, it does not taste like cereal.The other donuts were good enough to give 3 stars. The Glaze donut, which tasted similar to Krispy Kreme and was still warm, defintely is the best donut in this establishment! Next time i do come here, i will only get Glaze Donut Holes as i heard other reviews talking about how delicious, fresh, and how i cant drive to New Orleans without it. I am certainly interested but out of my experience in both the restaurant and the donuts. I give5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to Customer Service3/5 ⭐⭐⭐ to the variety donuts (glaze exempted)5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to the Glaze DonutI dont ever recommend the cereal donut, unless the sweetness is nerf down a lot, but i like the concept and idea. I do recommend only buying Glaze Donuts here, as they are the best Glaze that i have tried in Slidell compare to Not Just Donuts and Georges Donut Shop.I will be coming back for those Glaze Donut Holes holes, and once i try them, i will upate my review. Great donuts always served with a smile! Yummy,melt in your mouth! The shop is so clean and cute. They definitely have the biggest variety of donuts in town. 6 different kinds of holes on Saturday and Sunday! They also have true New Orleans style Chocolate Glazed and Chocolate Glazed donut holes.

I drove 16 minutes, passing other donut shops, to get here because of the good reviews. I got here at 11:35. They were locked up but the owner saw me and explained there was an emergency with her son. She GAVE me a box of donuts! Well done! The donuts were fabulous! I hope all works out for you.

Probably the best place in town. Selection is pretty good. Twists are great. Fritters only so-so. In reality 3.5 stars, but compared to other places at moment the better of the lot.

Loved their deaux nuts! Chocolate cream had a good balance of bread versus cream and the chocolate glaze was yummy. They could add a bit more cocoa to the recipe though. The only negative thing I have to say is that they are CASH ONLY. I dont mind paying a fee to use my card.

I was not impressed at all with these donuts. They were small and greasy and I had search high and low to find glaze on the donut. Not worth the over price and wait.

YUM.....This is not just another donut shop. The line out the door says it all and even if you drive up and say nevermind, it wont hurt their business. But here is what you gotta do. Bring plenty of cash, $30 + because you are going to want to over indulge every visit. Plus they only accept cash.Also, call ahead if your in that big of a hurry.

I didnt try the donuts. My kids and I got out of the truck and I realized that there was no seating. Their donuts could be great, but if I cant sit and eat them with a fresh cup of coffee and 2 chocolate milks, Ill never know

This place has the best tasting donuts in all of Slidell. I love coming here and getting the chocolate sprinkle donuts mostly because they arent skimpy on the sprinkles. By that I mean they are completely covered in sprinkles. Also, I love how the donuts are exactly $1.

Used to be our favorite. Would come all the way from the other side of town just to get the filled holes. Now the filled holes hardly have any jelly or cream inside.

Camellia City Doux-nuts is the real name. These are the best doughnuts I have eaten. The variety is large. The doughnuts are wonderfully fresh. The flavors are on point. The prices are fantastic!Do know that this is a Cash Only place. There is not an ATM inside either.

My family & I are fairly new to the Slidell area, and before moving here, we lived in Galveston, Texas for just over a year. I guess you could say that donuts are a fairly big deal there! Theyve got dozens of bakeries that start popping up from about an hour outside of Galveston to every corner or shopping center on the island and dozens more on your way to and in the Houston area. And there wasnt a bakery we tried, that we didnt love!!! But even with all of the amazingly, delicious options we found in Texas, it didnt take long for Camellia City Deaux-Nuts to become our very favorite!!!!! Theyve got a huge selection, and their donuts are always so fresh and so damn tasty!!! They also have the sweetest and most friendly employees there to help you!
