I have had a horrible experience with this business, which has been ongoing since 2018.I purchased a table from them and paid the extra delivery fee of $225 so they could get it through my backyard and gate. Upon delivery, we noticed that one of the table legs was too short. The table is supposed to sit on top of the free-standing legs, but instead, small pieces of concrete had to be used on top of the leg to make contact with the table. I spoke to Debbie, who runs the business, numerous times about sending a replacement, and was told many times that they would deliver me a new table leg.Debbie insisted that I was being put on the delivery schedule, but when I called to find out an exact date, she said they were unable and would get in touch with me later. At one point, she told me that they didnt have any trucks coming to New Orleans from Slidell... they had trucks going to Baton Rouge, but they couldnt come to New Orleans. In addition, she also said that they didnt have enough people available for the 4 people needed to set the table, which is originally why I paid the additional $225 for delivery. It isnt my fault that their poor quality control and poor craftsmanship resulted in a defective table, and now, they want me to pick up the concrete leg from the store, find my own people to install it, and do it myself instead of finishing the job or refunding me.If youre looking to deal with a business that sells defective merchandise, charges extra for delivering the defective merchandise, doesnt honor their promises, and then wants you to fix their errors with your own labor and expenses, you should definitely buy from this business.
Prices were reasonable. Service could have been better with loading of merchandise.
Always beautiful items for the garden.
Great selection of fountains and statues of all sizes. Very helpful staff as well
Cheap stuff. Its not super high quality molds, but its not really a high end store, more stuff the average joe can afford. Selection skews towards tacky...trump statues? Cutsy animals, sports team stuff. But fountains/urns are good.
We are from south Alabama and had been looking around our area for a fountain for front yard. Everything we found in our area was overpriced and there was not a lot to choose from. I remembered seeing Creations Unlimited on the way to N.O. and looked them up in the internet. We drove over to Slidell and found exactly what we were looking for, and the price was lower than we expected. It was well worth the drive over believe me. The owner worked with us to get the color we wanted and explained everything we needed to know on how to set the fountain up.Everything went great and we couldn’t be more pleased with our beautiful new fountain. We will definitely do business with them again.
They have the best and friendliest staff. You cant beat their prices and the variety is amazing. Debbie is super nice. I will DEFINITELY be back soon for spring garden ornaments.
They were great in helping me pick out just the right fountain for our needs. So much to choose from, great selection!
This is a really neat place. If you want something made from concrete they probably have it.
Great customer service :Walked around no one acknowledged meWalked inside sign says “For assistance go to back” walked to back 3 people working. Stood there for 3-5 minutes no one acknowledged me. Didn’t want to be rude, so I escorted myself out
Amazing assortment of all types of outdoor lawn furniture and statues and fountains. Very friendly staff. Had an issue with a fitting in my fountain and they replace it at no cost
Really nice selection. Nice people. Love the kitty cat who greeted me! So cute 😊
LOVE my new fountain!!! Debbie was very accommodating, and the delivery team was great too. I was especially pleased that when they put the fountain in place, they did not damage the delicate plants surrounding the location in my garden. (Not an easy feat to pull off.... That fountain is big and heavy!) Thanks again guys. Very pleased!
Spoke to Debbie...scheduled an appointment. She was very nice & knowledgable. Needed my fountain cleaned & repaired. I bought it from them several years ago & it runs year round. They figured out the problem, repaired it and cleaned it. Looks brand new! Very happy with the customer service!
Awesome 👍😁 had just what I needed and great people working there will be there anytime I can
Wonderful & not overpriced cement statues, fountains, benches, wall plaques, etc. You can have them painted a multitude of different finishes on site or not. Wonderful selection for gardens or around the house. Excellent work.
Always friendly! Wonderful selection of concrete artwork, pits, benches and fountains. We always leave with something we love!!
Cool stuff
I have had nothing but great service when ever I shop there. The service has been a wonderful family type atmosphere. Thanks to Debbie and her crew for the best service.
Great service and their products are a great feature to our yard. We bought a 3 tier fountain that has performed exceptionally and a few more ornamental fixtures that add a nice touch to the garden. Ive learned that cleaning out the fountain once every 2-3 months keeps the pump running well and maintains its finish. We plan on doing business with the team at Creations Unlimited for years to come!
Awesome period
Lots to choose from.
Wide selection ornamental statues and fountains for lawn and garden .They have been there for over two decades,a family owned and operated business that has a lot of the same staff my first started going there years ago.Avoid the big DIY Home improvement store, because he will get the help and the concrete creation thats you for the price.
Nice products at reasonable prices. Having said that, dont expect any post-sales support even if you are willing to pay for it...youre on your own.
Bought a fountain that was made at this place. Beautiful work. Ill be back for some smaller stuff, also.
Short version:Buyer beware. I was sold a defective fountain, and am being told that I have to pay them to fix it. They ask for cash and now I see why. Details below.I should have known to go with my instinct on this one but they had a fountain my wife (Ashlee) really liked, so we went with it.Ashlee decided to go looking at fountains on a whelm without having measurements for the leaking 30 year old one we were replacing. She found the one she liked, and although it looked like it would fit she asked if it didnt fit the space if we could return it. Whoever she spoke with that day (not Debbie) said there was no returns on large fountains. That was a red flag, but I dont buy fountains every day so dont know that its out of the ordinary or standard procedure for large fountains. She left, and we measured the space and went back a couple days later to pick it up after measuring the area. We measured it, and returned to pick up the fountain. After about 30 minutes there looking we walked in to buy it and was told that one of the tubes wasnt set right and would never work right so she wasnt going to sell it and could paint another one for us and have it ready on Tuesday. She also said she was sorry that Ashlee spent so much time looking at it and returned to buy it when they werent going to sell it. Tuesday came and it wasnt ready but it wasnt the end of the word. We waited until it was ready and Ashlee went and picked it up Friday. Debbie told us that if we paid cash the price would be 720 even, if not then wed have to pay tax on the purchase.I called some friends, and they came and helped me move it (very very heavy) and we set it up only to find it didnt look right. Thinking it was something I did wrong I said Ill deal with it later and a couple days later I started checking level, seals...... and it seemed like there just wasnt enough water getting to the top of the fountain. For proof of concept I put the hose in it and it seemed to work. After proof of concept, I had the pump from my previous fountain in the garage and pulled it out and just kind of shoved it in there and it was much better. Theres 1 port that doesnt pour correctly just like the one she said she was going to exchange. Exactly like the defective one she said she wasnt going to sell.Being the weekend I waited, and called Debbie on the next business day. She confirmed that it was too small of a pump and that it needed an upgrade. Ok, cool, so how do we do this? I was told that she would fix it for me, but only if I brought it back and I paid her to fix it. Excuse me ???? Even though you sold it with the wrong pump? Debbie passed the blame onto the manufacturer saying that she didnt install the pump in the first place. I asked if she was kidding and she said No. Debbie told Ashlee that she had tested it before selling it to us, and I asked her about that. She said they looked at the angles and they seemed ok. That was the extent of their testing.Changing the pump on a fountain shouldnt be a big deal. In this case its a bit different. The power cord for the pump is run through the bottom bowl and sealed in. The whole thing would have to come down, sealant removed, cleaned, then the power cord would have to be re run and resealed. It would be a big ordeal to get this done. Its a horrible design but a pretty fountain.Buyer beware.
Great staff, helpful, went out of there way to help, great prices, got a set of gargoyles and bird bath, staff even put them in the car,
Ordered 2 concrete items on 4/13/17. Picked up 1 of the 2 items on 4/21/17 ($100 item), which Debbie took from her stock. I expected it to be a new item however I was pleased. I inquired ahead of time about traveling with it because we arent local (AL) she said it would be wrapped well in burlap sacks. (It WASNT) they had a sack under it and 1 laying on top of it. NOTHING was WRAPPED!The other item was a giraffe ($110) and was to be a birthday present for a family member. It wasnt ready. Debbie tried to sell me a giraffe she had in stock. I wanted a new one as the old one was weathered. Once again she promised it in a week. Long story short husband calls Debbie on May 18th, Debbie states she didnt make the giraffe because she makes more money selling fountains and shes losing her employees because its hot weather and orders are building up. Also shes sold the other giraffe. OMG REALLY?! So shes just thrown our order of over a month ago in the trash because of HER PROBLEMS?! After weve already purchased and become a customer? We arent even locals! This is NOT GOOD BUSINESS! She was even told several times when we had to have the item and she denied it. Fortunately I have the conversations recorded! The BBB will be hearing from me! People dont waste your time or money on this place...oh its eye catching but you will regret it!
What a great place in great service will return
I had them come out to replace a pump for the fountain I bought from them and they put in a pump that did not extend to the outlet. It looks like they put in a 4 foot cord instead of 6 foot. When I called them to ask them to come back and put the correct one in, she replied that they would have to charge me again. I told them they put the wrong one in and they said I did not specify what length I needed and they put in whatever is on the truck. Even if it is wrong?????This is the first negative comment I wrote in my life (over 50) and could not believe what they did and the reasoning. The service person had to see the outlet and had to see that it was not going to reach. Even if I did not specify, dont put in something that is wrong and dont let your business get a bad name for $150.00.
Lots of cool stuff here..pop in.
They have a larg quantity of concrete art at great prices
Im happy with my purchase. The staffs friendly.
Well, I used to like this business. But I have to give a BAD review now. We Purchased a couple of fountains from Creations Unlimited a few years ago. They were positioned to squirt water into our pool. Naturally over time, the finishes became faded and chipped. We went to creations unlimited to ask advice on how to refurbish them. Debbie convinced us that it was a tedious job and they could do it for a reasonable price. She said they would look as good as new. That sounded great to us. My daughters HS graduation would be in about 6 weeks, and she admitted she would be busy, but should have it completed in about a month. After a month of no word, I called and left a message. No return call. My Husband called and reached Debbie, and she was EXTREMELY RUDE. When asked about the fountains, she said they were not ready, and could NOT tell us when they would be ready at all-- I dont know when theyll be ready. I cant tell you She went on to state that since we placed our order with her she obtained a lot of new orders, and not enough staff. So clearly we were NOT important.I called the next day, and she stated exactly the same message-- she stated she did not know when they would be done, and she had aquired a lot of new orders and had no idea when they would get to the refurbishing of our fountains. I explained that my back yard was to host my daughters HS graduation party, and I had expected they would be done as discussed in this period of time. She became defensive, and denied this conversation. And no appology. Now these fountains were very heavy, and we transported them to their shop. I said, well I guess we are going to need to pick them up? Her unconcerned answer was thats fine .Clearly service is NOT a priority, and keeping their word is also not important. What was important was her defending her mistake to agree to do this job in the first place.I wish people would just keep their word. And IF unforseen events were to prevent it somehow, perhaps just owning up to it and appologizing would be appropriate? I would not be writing this review if this was run like a good business. Understand, I do NOT consider obtaining new orders a reasonable excuse for not doing what was agreed apon. The sad part is that my husband and I are terriffic DIY people, but were convinced at our encounter with Debbie that they could do a great job and have it done in plenty of time for our backyard event. Thanks for nothing Debbie! All you did was slow down our progress, and convince us to NEVER do business with you again, and every person we meet will know how you treated your return customers. And I cannot get over how RUDE Debbie was. Debbie have you ever heard the expression Dont bite the hand that feeds you! ?
Horrible place!! Drove 100 miles to the store and the staff wouldnt honor the coupon in a local magazine and DEBBIE was the most unprofessional empolyee, she shouldnt be empolyed!!
Great selection of garden creations
Amazing Selection.
Great gifts
Beautiful fountains
