My wife and I bought our phones from the store and they were shipped to our house.Made a appointment and we met Dan who was Awesome with excellent customer service. He help activate our phones.I highly recommend Dan he knows his products. Very pleased and will send Dan some clients. Thanks Dave

Very crowded, even though I had an appointment. My representative was helpful, but was doing personal work during my appointment. Manager seemed to be oblivious and was part of the crowd near her station . Two representatives were helping one customer who was in the store for over and hour . An off duty rep came in and was socializing . I left .
I have had my phone replaced 3 times since July. Since I live close to the Attleboro store I was going there. The first 2 times they were very helpful. The third time they were so rude. I decided to come to the Smithfield store The employee that I dealt with was awesome. I was waiting to get into the store he came from the parking lot walked up to me and asked me if he could help me. He listened to my long tale about the phone. He took the time to talk to me & was asking me specific questions about the phone, Attleboro never did. He said I think I know what the problem is. He worked on the phone & it seems like things are fine. He put a phone number in my phone if I had problems I could make a appointment. He was sooooo pleasant I never got his name but he has a Irish tattoo on his arm. I did comment on the tattoo while he was working on my phone ( I am Irish by marriage ). When I left I said thank you some much Irish boy.
Honestly, this Verizon experience has been absolutely HORRID since the very start and I couldn’t be more unhappy or dissatisfied and at this point, would NOT recommend switching to Verizon especially with this store.Our experience started with this store, me calling and being told I have to place a phone order online due to Covid which was understandable. Called into the sales department, explained we were switching from Sprint to Verizon, picked out our plan and phones, got told what promotions were going on and such and waited until the next day to go pick up our phones in store. I arrived at the store, talked to a customer service employee, they looked up my order and said it wasn’t there. Come to find out, the sales department had messed something up. The employee finally got it figured out, went into the back, handed me a bag and was ready to send on my way. I explained we were porting over from Sprint and she told me it would be a breeze switching them over and explained NONE of the process that we would end up enduring. Fast forward that night, attempted setting up the phones, nothing worked. Couldn’t contact anyone as it was late and this is where our experience continued to be a horror show. For an entire week, our phones were completely screwed up and not working. The employee at the store had never processed the order, so our phones were never “sold” and weren’t able to be activated. I spent a total of about 12 hours on the phone between Verizon and Apple, we travelled to a store 45 minutes one way two different times and to just be continuously told someone didn’t do their job. After the 48 hour porting mark, our phones still didn’t work and come to find out, someone didn’t port them correctly so we had to wait another 48 hours which turned into days. Fast forward, our phones finally worked after having to use 2 phones at the same time and racking up our sprint bill as well. Our first month bill came in at a whopping $500 and I was credited a measly $30 for my hours of phone conversations and chaos. Fast forward to today, I called to inquire about our promotional gift cards totaling $500 for switching over that I was told would be sent in the mail after the 2 month activation mark. Called today and once again was told I was told incorrectly, the $500 gift card was only available for a months period and we were never told otherwise. So once again we were told one thing and are now lost out on $500 because someone couldn’t do their job correctly. I was credited $100 today thankfully but will be cancelling our plan with Verizon as soon as our phone pay off is affordable. I DO NOT suggest switching over, the worst experience I’ve ever had.

There were 2 workers and they couldnt complete a transaction for 4 people while we were there. Finally called Verizon and did over phone now going back to pick it up. I felt bad for employees they were trying; nothing was working.
I’m there to pick up an online order. They want us to stand outside in 30 degree weather and wait. It’s unacceptable and tbh I think it’s excessive. I could go to Walmart kohl’s ect and there’s plenty of people inside. I’m not happy and I doubt I’d go there again.

The staff is amazing! My account was locked and I wasnt able to get into it for days. I went to other Verizon stores and had no luck. I was in this store for maybe 15 minutes max!! Tried calling the Store today several times @ 233.4900 and call was routed to the Main Verizon Call Center - NO SURPRISE a long hold. Not sure why they even have local stores when you cant receive Customer Service. So online months ago I ordered both the home/car rapid car charger for my Motorola Droid via the Verizon Website specifically for my phone. It arrived and did not fit. Sent it back and got confirmation. Verizon kept charging me for 2 months straight. After 4 calls I finally got an intelligent person who remedied the situation. NOW not to waste any more time I cant even speak with a local Store Representative to VERIFY they have the product required for my cell phone! THIS is why there are Competitors such as T-Mobile, Sprint, etc..
My husband and I arrived a little early today but Sway was eager to greet us and promptly accommodated our phone needs. He was so knowledgeable and helped in every aspect of our transaction. Our new phones are great and Sway saved us not only time but money too.

We always (until tonight) do business with this location- always get good customer service- especially Amy, she is great. However, tonight, we went there for the 3rd time to try and get some documentation for my daughters phone that was broken during a car accident. The guy, Stanley, was so rude and condescending and unprofessional we actually walked out. Will not be back. But on a positive note- we wen to the Mineral Spring Verizon right after and got an IPhone 11 and great service from Kyle C!

I use to like this store. I had an issue that they couldnt resolve to my satisfaction. I understand why they couldnt, ( I put my screen protector on my phone wrong and messed it up and they could not give me another one because I didnt have the old one) I just didnt like the way it was handled! I always like for the store to put the screen protector on and that day, they were so busy they just sent me home with my phone when I picked it up. I believe this is a fair assessment of the situation!
If you buy something here make sure you are very specific, and make sure you check what you bought before you leave the store. I went in to by a iPhone 6s for me and a iPhone 6s plus for my wife. We discussed everything with the sales associate, we told him what we wanted and agreed on a price. He set up our new phones and sent us on our way. A couple days later I was looking for the headphones in the box and noticed my wifes phone box said 6s plus and mine only said 6. It turns out the sales associate grab the wrong phone. I called the store and asked if I could switch my phone to the one I originally wanted and keep the same price we agreed upon but the manager said there was nothing they could do about the price of the phone. I was very dissatisfied with the service from the manager. She didnt seem to care. They made a mistake and wouldnt correct it. All I wanted was the correct phone for the price we agreed upon. Theres obviously nothing I can do to hurt the biggest wireless carrier and Im not going to a different carrier for a mistake from a sales associate but I thought I would just give anyone who reads this a heads up.
Great service UNTIL(Reply)It was for FIOS and I upgraded the boxes, turns out the main box serial number didnt match turned out it was the wrong box. A tech was sent to solve the issues
Good service for a Verizon store. My phone bricked itself, so I had to come down here and purchase another. The clerks will always try to up-sell you on accessories and plans, but if you refuse a couple times they relax. Good selection of phones and accessories.
My 2 star rating is based on my experience with Brad. The rest of the staff was incredibly friendly. Brad took no shame in showing how working with me was a waste of time for him. I was only there to replace my phone. I didnt want a bundle package. I didnt want to update my plan (I did it last week which I tried to explain to him). I didnt want some gps thing for my car. I didnt want to add anyone to my plan. I understand hes trying to make a sale, but i didnt need anything extra. Again, I just wanted to replace my phone. As he got up to get it he huffed and puffed and almost 10 minutes later came out with the box tossing it back and forth in his hands. After that I had to tell him I wasnt interested and left. I could no longer take his passive aggressive attitude. I would recommend every customer avoid him like the plague. And a special note to this douche: listen to your customers. Congrats on losing a $600+ sale.
This Verizon store has helped me out and was an overall great experience. The associates help the best they can and go above and beyond.

Absolutely misleading!! The employees have no idea what they are talking about. I spoke with both the supervisor and district manager who dont have any idea whats going on. They couldnt answer simple questions and stuttered over their own words. Absolute worse store around. I have sent in a formal complaint to the company so hopefully something gets done!! Needless to say I am now an AT&T customer.

Went to return my equipment the guy at the counter told me before we could return the equipment we had to call a 1-800 number and they had to give us a code before he would take my equipment back plus they need more more stores that you can return your equipment to the closed one to me is in north smithfield.

I would give this store a minus 10 if possible. The customer service is terrible. Really terrible. Particularly an employee named Jose with whom Ive had the displeasure of interacting with on three different occasions. He is the absolute zenith of poor customer interactions and the absolute nadir of appropriate, helpful customer service. I hate going here and typically will drive 30 minutes away to a different store but this is not always convenient. I nominate this store for the Incredibly Bad VZN Employees With Zero Customer Service Skills Who Cant Wait to Get Rid of You if Youre Not There to Buy a New Phone award. The solution VZN? Educate and train your employees in customer service skills while they are still trainable. Oh, and get rid of any dipwad that is better suited to greasing his palms over a fry grill at some fast food place. Or better yet, perhaps relegate those particular employees to stocking toilet paper and cleaning toilets in your corporate headquarters.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. You can call ahead or go online to setup an appointment, and you should always back up your stuff before you go in. It will save you time and frustration as they are NOT responsible for your personal information.

Apparently when your a veteran you VA card isnt good enough id for the military discount. I have had nothing but problems with verizon at the specofic store since i switched from ATT a month ago. False quotes on billing and discounts just so the salesman can make a sale.

The manager of this store does not understand the concept of costumer service. My husband and I were in this store on Saturday and she was incredibly short, unfriendly, and unwilling work with my husband and I who have been loyal Verizon customers for over 10 years. In fact, she made it clear that it was perfectly already if we left Verizon and went with another carrier.Long story short, we called Verizon directly today. After a 15 minute conversation, in which we never mentioned the poor customer service we received on Saturday, we were able to get a new phone for my husband and no increase in our bill.Moral of the story, if you are thinking about going to this Smithfield store - DONT. Find another store, or call Verizon directly. The manager of this store this horrible.P.S. Once we were done doing business with Verizon via phone, we did let them know about our experience on Saturday. Needless to say they were disappointed and upset but conveyed they would be issuing a write-up to the store for how we treated.

Went in June to return a DVR and SD box and leave with a HD box. We had already worked out a contract with Verizon Fios online. We thought it was a simple procedure although odd that we didnt get any paperwork back from the clerk. Fast forward to the first months bill and all of a sudden we have sticker shock. Turns out the employee not only changed our internet to a faster speed without our permission, they also negated all of the promotional discounts we we to receive online. Needless to say we have already spent close to an hour of our time fixing this with Verizon directly. They are currently working on fixing it and will be calling us back within the next 48 hours. I wish there is a way I could bill this unscrupulous business for our time.

This is where I go when I need in-person support for a phone issue. I have encountered none of the problems mentioned by other reviewers.
Ive been to this location a half dozen times in the past month, for the same issue. And every time Im told it should be all set this time....I leave hopeful and yet nothing Ive been told has come to fruition. So disappointed and disgusted with the way they conduct business. I will be cancelling all of my Verizon services.
