I totally recommend this auto shop. Roman has a successful business, and deserves all the success he has. He is a consummate professional. and definitely committed to exceptional service, friendly, & knowledgeable. He was totally available and responded immediately to phone calls and quick with service. He is honest, does great work, and I am thankful that I finally found an auto shop I can trust. I had been to so many who had been dishonest, and had not fixed my car correctly. He stepped in, and helped me so many times! I can not believe what a difference it is to have a great auto mechanic, after years of bad mechanics. Again, I am so thankful to have found this Auto Shop...Smithnest is definitely the best and only honest shop I have ever experienced !

Roman is a very nice man his guys do very good mechanic and body work at very reasonable prices. Been dealing with them for years. I would easily and have recommended them often.

I would never go back here again. I had brought my minivan for a repair of the steering column shift, and to fix the locks, and for an oil change. They replaced my entire steering column (taking a very nice leather lined steering wheel and replacing it with a gauged out junk yard plastic one) and installed it upside down. The locks were not fixed and he tried charging me for that anyway. When I complained about the steering wheel, the owner told me that the only way to get the steering wheel back to normal was to have an alignment done. My car was already aligned perfectly with new tires all around. I have to think that he sold my beautiful leather steering wheel to the junk yard. As for the locks, it wasnt until after I complained about the incomplete work he took $75 off the $620. This place is a big rip-off. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They live up the crooked auto repair shop reputation. My car is so much worse off than before I went here. And I am so sorry about that.

Took my car here after a really high estimate elsewhere. They did the work for $1000 less. Honest and helpful.

If I could give this place 0 stars i would. Worst place to go get a paint job. Very rude people but that’s the least of my concerns. I went to get my car painted and they didn’t match the color. i only noticed because I decided to wash my car myself. When I noticed i was extremely upset so i called to see if they can fix it, they told me to bring the car back when i did the owner pretty much told me to go f myself because that’s the car’s paint and that’s the best i’ll get when i know that’s not true because my car’s pearl white and they left it almost grey. Don’t go to this place!! They’ll rip you off and you’ll leave extremely upset!!

Terrible !!! They were good many years ago according to a friend BUT were overpriced, not on time, horrible results. They butchered the rear bumper install and paint on my Corvette. This was done a few years ago, but since I am selling the car, it re-kindled my anger at the results. I feel better now.

Smithnest Collision is one of the best auto body shops on Long Island Me and my family have been coming here for over 10 years from oil changes to full auto body work they do it all Great Service honest and reliable i would highly recommend them to anyone!!!!
