My wife and I were shopping for a new mattress at the Mattress Firm store in Smithtown, NY. We found the store to be very comfortable to shop in. Very good assortment of mattresses accessible to try out.We were assisted by Sheena, a member of management.Sheena is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of her time explaining the differences between the various mattresses. She was a pleasure to deal with, and we would highly recommend that anyone who is shoppingfor a mattress give The Mattress Firm in Smithtown and Sheena a try.

Philip was informative but not the annoying type of informative. I told him what I was looking for and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with a new mattress. I was eyeing the Nectar mattress and he provided the same deal they provided but was able to get it delivered in 2 days vs. 14-20 business days.Thank you for your time and good luck upstate!

Loved our experience at Mattress Firm Smithtown!We stopped by this location after having a horrible experience at the Mattress Firm in Commack on Crooked Hill Rd across from Costco.We got to this location 15 minutes before the store was closing and Phil stayed until almost 11pm to help us get everything we needed and more!He listened to us, he allowed us to look at different mattresses, he never pressured us to decide quickly. He was patient and kind.We knew we were deciding between two mattresses, he gave us very unbiased information on both.Then he very smoothly sold us on an electric base really focusing on our comfort and needs, never pressuring us to buy anything.We ended up purchasing a mattress, the electric base that we were never originally interested in or thought about having recently purchased a platform base, plus pillows and he threw in a free mattress protector.He gave us all the information and prices about delivery and warranties, and extra protection plans.He offered us coffee and even gave my daughter some glow sticks to keep her entertained.Phil really went above and beyond! Thank you so much Phil!

Ralph and Phil Smithtown store were excellent. They were very informative helped us find mattress that was right for us and kept us on budget. We bought an Intellibed which we have been sleeping on and love!Delivery also was excellent... on time (called and delivered 1/2 earlier than promised)... professional, polite. They delivered new mattress and removed all mattress quick and easy.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at this store. The gentleman helping me (I believe he was the manager) was truly a pleasure to deal with. Upon arriving he made me feel extremely welcome in the store. Not only was he a very knowledgable salesman, above all else he seemed like a genuinely good guy who made my first mattress shopping experience very simple and pleasant.Mattress firm, if you are reading this, that gentleman (I believe his name was Philip) goes above and beyond, and deserves a raise.

Rob was great he helped my grandparents find a great mattress with an adjustable bed. He was so patient with my grandmother who just had back surgery. He stayed late on a sunday and did not rush us at all. He was kind and understanding and even suggested that they purchase something for a little less money. All said and done they did spend a good amount of money but Rob was able to save them over $1000. I would highly recommend everybody go see Rob.

This store is clean bright and well stocked. The new manager Toni is a god send by all means. After having a horrible experience at another location she went well above and beyond to make sure I left happy. This company could really benefit by adding more people just like her in other locations

I went in late on Saturday night to just look for a bed with no intensions of making a purchase. As soon as I walked in I was quickly greeted by both employees that were still there. I went in to look at a queen set with my girlfriend for our new apartment and to compare prices as the following day I was going to seriously start looking. A few minutes in the salesman, Steve, greeted both of us and showed us around the showroom. He quickly identified our needs vs. our wants and made the very overwhelming showroom seem extremely simple. He showed us each bed and explained in detail every aspect you could want to know about a new bed. It was literally the best buying experience I have ever had. He showed us every mattress that would be suitable for our needs and within our price range and didnt rush us or push us towards any particular model. I fell in love with a bed and Steve made it extremely difficult to say no. He is a fantastic salesman and I will now refer any person looking for a bed to him. I have been a salesman for almost 10 years, and he is by far the best one I have ever met. I walked away purchasing a fantastic new bed that I am beyond thrilled with and some of the best service I have ever received. He put a rush on my delivery to be the first stop on Monday morning and it was there earlier than expected. It took the delivery men more time to drive to my house from Smithtown, than it did to unload and set up my new bed with the mattress protector. I also want everyone to know that I actually have 3 other locations that are closer to my house than this Sleepys but I just happened to be in the area so I stopped by.THANK YOU STEVE FROM ONE SALESMAN TO ANOTHER, GREAT JOB!

Got a great deal plus a free adjustable base

I purchased a bed the end of september and turns out was the wrong recomomendation by the sales person. The store was able to switch it out or me....and we selected another mattress. Unfortunately, it came in incorrectly. After FIVE tries of getting the right mattress delivered, it turns out THIS one was then again not suitable for our needs. I was so frustration and although people were trying to accommodate us, it was a fail.Until I met Tom Cunniff at the Smithtown store (as just chance). Tom went above and beyond to rectify our needs. He is an outstanding employee and friend to his customers. Very satisfied with Tom :)

He made the whole process easy! I never felt that I was being over sold and was very happy when the mattress I fell in love with was within my budget! He even offered to hold onto the mattress while I was having some work done in the master bedroom. The delivery was right on time and the men delivering my mattress were professional and neat.Steve followed up to make sure I was happy with my purchase.
