Great prices and he is very knowledgeable about the instruments. We will go back for the music lessons
Nathan was great👍! My nephew and I came in with questions and left more knowledgeable than ever.😄😊 awesome customer service 👏
Great little music store in Smyrna TN, perfect to rent or buy instruments, strings, reeds, and get lessons from some great, experienced instructors.
Ive been shopping at Jonathan Fletcher Music for several years now, and have always had a pleasant shopping experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the selection is great too. You wont get service like this at the big box retailers.
My children have taken music lessons here for years. It has been well worth the time and effort. Janine is a fantastic teacher. My daughter is now entering Lee University as a piano performance major with a nice scholarship!I have always found the staff to be helpful and polite.
Rated by Gear-Vault as top 5 music store in all of Nashville and surrounding areas. Met the owner and had the pleasure to visit with him when I bought my Takamine acoustic guitar. Awesome experience and will for sure be going back!
I had previously posted a 1 star review due to a miscommunication between an employee and myself, but the owner, Jonathan Fletcher, called me to personally apologize and is working to rectify the situation. Even if we arent able to do business, I respect that he took the time out of his day to reach out to me to learn more about what happened and is interested in making it right. It is rare these days to find a business whose owners genuinely care enough to go the extra mile for their customers. Im very impressed and will return. Thanks Jonathan.
I experienced quite possibly the worst customer service Ive ever endured in my life at this establishment yesterday. Im never one to go this far with a customer service issue, but I see this as an exceptional case. The issue was so ridiculous and unnecessary, Im still disoriented from it, to be honest.I had called earlier in the day to ask about a guitar box (outer, not inner) to ship a guitar in. The employee on the phone assured me that they had some in the back and encouraged me to just show up and they would have what I need. This was the extent of the phone call between the employee and I. No money or pricing was ever mentioned.Fast forward ~2 hours~ the employee walked my boyfriend and I to the back of the store, not saying a word other than This box should work, more or less, and picked out a box (from a pile that looked like it was headed to the dumpster). My boyfriend told the employee (whose name I never got because he failed to introduce himself and wasnt even wearing a name tag) that he was going to run the box out to the car. The employee simply nodded at him. I mentioned that I was going to take a look at the guitars and was NEVER offered assistance with any browsing, nor did the employee seem to care that I was going to do so. Feeling rather underwhelmed by the selection (Im no guitar snob, but the quality is seriously lacking in the selection here) I decided it was time to leave.Assuming our interaction was over, I walked out to join my boyfriend in the car. After buckling in, I noticed the employee had halfway walked out to our car, so I opened the door enough to see what he had to say. He very coarsely said I have to charge you guys for that. I said Oh, well okay then, and walked in to meet him at the register. I assured him that this was news to me, and that I was not aware of the fact that I was to be charged for a box that seemed like it was going to be thrown away anyway. However, I managed to ask him how much it was going to cost. As he was pecking at the register he curtly answered However much I told you on the phone. I replied that I was not told a price on the phone, and he very briskly insisted I was. After assuring him that I wouldve written it down and not been surprised when he told me about charging me, he curtly proclaimed Well, just give me back the box and well act like this never happened. He then swiftly followed me out to my car and briskly grabbed the box out of my boyfriends hands.I attempted to contact the owner personally, but I feel like this is my only avenue left to express my concern. Im all in favor of supporting local, small business, but with attitudes like those of the employees in this shop, Ill gladly take the drive up to Guitar Center any day.
Magnificent service !! Very timely on my guitar repair. Ive been buying from Mr Fletcher about 16 years now and I havent went anywhere else. A great team!!!!
Jonathan Fletcher music store in Murfreesboro is a great place. Jonathan Fletcher and his crew are very nice and helpful when it comes to your instrument. Customer Service is right on the money.
Great experience they even cut me a deal I went to a different store and they did not Jonathan Fletchers is the best place to buy stuff
Overpriced and nothing but cheap beginner gear. They have a set string price that is Buy one get one free but its the price of two. That forces you to buy two sets. I went in because I needed strings and didnt have time to go somewhere else and they only had one set left of the strings I use. They charged me the full price for the single set even though I didnt get a second set. Its ridiculous. They take advantage of customers because they are the only store in the area. They have a very take it or leave it attitude.
Terrible customer service!!!!!!!!! i went in there once and asked an employee if they had a mount for a cowbell that i could put on my bass drum. first thing he said was “is the drummer in the car?” referencing to my dad who was waiting in the car outside. i told him no, i’m the drummer. he rudely responded “oh YOU’RE the drummer?” as if he didn’t believe me because i’m a girl. the rest of the time i was in there he was extremely condescending and rude to me, talking to me like i was stupid even though he himself had no idea what he was talking about. it was very annoying and frustrating and fletcher’s didnt even have the part i needed. encounters like this happened on more than one occasion and it is very annoying. 0/10 will not go back.
I hate to do this, however this Jonathan Fletcher music store is highly overrated. My experience was absolutely aweful and will never do business again with this company. First off they were going to do some work of my guitar which they did, however they were suppose to contact me with a quote which they never did, nor give a real status update. I scheduled to get a set-up for my guitar which they explained that it was $60.00 I also had strings put back on it but their no additional cost for that, which was explained to me. However after two weeks with no update I called, and then 2-3 days later I get a status update on my guitar, which the technician told me that he was almost finished with the work and that it wouldnt be close to hundred dollars. When I finally picked up the intrument the staff seem to appoarch me as if I was going to rob the place. I was treated more like a criminal then a customer. After many identification checks they release my guitar with a whooping $94-$96 dollar bill for the work. What I notice first with my guitar is that the strings was put on like an amature did it, which myself could string a guitar better then this guy did and he does this probably on a daily basis. So my thoughts; way over priced, customer service is terrible, and finally I will be advising anyone that I speak with and has any thoughts to do business with this company to beaware and stand clear. I dont see this place lasting long. Not with the attitude that they choose to present. I also have to say that I hardly ever really feel the need to write a bad review about a company, but this place really pushed my buttons.
Knowledgeable courteous professional service .
Good stuff
