This place is great! Had a cherry and raspberry sorbet smoothie, and it was nice tangy and smooth. Interior is gorgeous, they even have games at every table to enjoy your food and time with a friend or stranger. They deserve much more business.

I went there with my sister to catch up on some things. We both ordered a smoothie that was very good. The vibe of the place was really chill. Just what we was looking for. Nice music was playing in the background. The owner was very nice. He had games that you could play if you wanted to. Great place for a quick date.

This is a super cool much needed place in the community!! All natural and fresh sorbets and smoothies all real and delicious ingredients. The owner was so nice and personable and explained all the menu items . This spot is a must try!!! The seating area has checker boards on each table, along with card games like UNO, some tables have swings for seating, he has shelves with board games to play and books to read and a Huge tv ! I loved it, made me feel nostalgic with all the old school games to play . He will soon host open mic poetry and comedy nights and will even offer a back patio, there is also alcohol on the menu and food . I can’t wait to go back for a date night . I had a mango/peach sorbet it was delicious and had small chunks of fruit . He does need a neon sign cause if you drive past you will miss it, but I’m sure it’s coming, it’s nestled in between the barbershop and Chinese restaurant. A hidden Gem 💎

Recommended by a friend to go here. I got an apple, cherry and pineapple smoothie with coconut milk and it did not disappoint. The owner is very personable. Looking forward to whats to come as he mentioned the upcoming jazz nights on Friday and Sat and the expanding food menu.

Just left and this place is AH-MAZING!!! I ordered Chuccs Smoothie and the Cucumber Pita. The vibe above will get you to stay a while. The owner Jay is very inviting and makes you feel like family. I will definitely frequent this establishment!

I got a mango peach raspberry sorbet. It was very fresh and refreshing. I also got the jerk chicken pita. Very flavorful but pretty spicy so if spice is not your thing....The owner was very personable and friendly. I will definitely be returning.

For months The Awkward Cup used a pirated copy of one of my photographs in their advertising and has refused to pay me for it. Does anyone on this thread have a contact for the management there? So difficult in this economy to work and then not be paid.

Great local eatery/smoothie bar with fresh ingredients. I have enjoyed the Cucumber Ranch Chicken Veggie Pita, Tasty Quinoa Turkey, and the Awkward Coney Dog (Chicken). All of these choices were phenomenal. The space is very nice and the owner is very welcoming. Support a local business and give them a try. Cant wait to try their smoothies and sorbets.

This little Gem! Just got braces and need something soothing and this great place of awkwardness came up. Ordered a pineapple mango sorbet and it was delicious. Vibe/setup was great... awesome place for date night👫 or friends🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️🧍 hang out. Highly recommended 👌.

I’ve gone to plenty a smoothie place; King, Planet whatever. I know when my smoothie has fructose or syrups in my mix brooo...The Awkward Cup is WHOLE! It’s freshly frozen and locally sourced 😭.AND they have an amazing food menu with Brisket Texas toast slammer, Grilled Cheese THATS more than a grilled cheese experience..you coulda seen it on my pic but it was too good!Did I forget to mention an assortment of books and games with that cozy vibe 😭

I ordered the Coney Dog with a Cherry and Pineapple Sorbet, and words cannot express how delicious they both were!!!!! The owner is so nice, and there is even space available to rent for a nice-sized gathering, fully equipped with tables, 2 large wooden swings, barstools, and board games! I know where I’ll be hosting my 40th birthday bash come November, 😉😉 I cannot wait to return!

Just wow!! The owner was very knowledgeable about his menu and took the time to explain it to me as a first time customer. Awesome vibe and spirit!Then, the food! I got the grilled chicken veggie pita and it was sooooo good! Will definitely be ordering it again. And then my smoothie was on point! I ordered a pineapple and mango smoothie with coconut milk and the fat burner protein enhancer. Hidden gem of Snellville! This place is relatively new and Im glad theyve arrived! I had to stop in with my hubby and try their popular choice.... fresh fruit sorbets! Awesome, smooth and creamy.... no artificial anything it in! Just a pure delight on a hot Georgia day! My husband had a smoothie he loved it! What I really love is the concept of this little joint. Theyve got tables with swing benches and tables with cute little succulents where you have card games and stuff. Sit, play, and eat enjoying strangers (or not lol) company when your light is on or not if your light is off! Genius! Itll make an awesome chill spot! The owner is great too! Hes got a great personality and hes really thorough with helping new customers decide on what to try! Cant wait to try everything in the near future! The Awkward Cup is now on our faves list!

Wow! What a great afternoon snack! My mom and I stopped in here after running some errands in Snellville and Jay, the owner, helped us. He was super friendly, helpful, and gave us some great recommendations. Mom had the raspberry/peach sorbet and I had the strawberry/pineapple sorbet. Both were delicious and very refreshing. We will absolutely be back (maybe to enjoy a game of cards next time!)

Went with my boo to grab a smoothie, and we actually tried the sorbet instead. It was so good, we decided to share a third cup! Good vibes, great music, games to play while you sit, and they have these really cool swinging chairs. Plus, it’s black-owned, and the owner is really cool. 10/10 would recommend

Just went to this place for the first time today and loved it! Very kind and helpful staff as well as very delicious and filling smoothies. The interior was absolutely beautiful as well and my family and I really enjoyed sitting down and playing a game of cards together while we had our smoothies!!!

It was love at first sip! I had the Owners Favorite Smoothie and it was phenomenal. Jay is very kind and his customer service is awesome!Very happy to have a real smoothie spot without chemicals, preservatives and additives so close to home.

Sorbet and smoothies are the best Ive ever had with REAL FRUIT - no added BS and sugars! I would certainly recommend this spot to ALL, if you enjoy excellent personable service, tasty sorbets/smoothies and good vibes!

It’s awkward in a good way. Ordered a strawberry smoothie which was fire. Cheesecake and cookies are bomb too and make from healthy ingredients. While you sit and enjoy your smoothie, you can play a round or too in trouble, dominos, phase 10 etc.... O and it’s black owned. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
