Wow . The mailbox looked amazing for 4 months but lack of putting a quality stain and sealer on post has caused it to quickly deteriorate. For the $550 bucks you will have to spend every year to replace the post move along to another company . Find one that stands behind what they do And does not then recommend you finding a good stain and sealer after the mildest winter and spring we have had in 10 years .

Beautiful wood work and stain, high quality steel mailbox and professional installation. I wish I could remember the young man who replaced our wood post and mailbox, he was very nice and professional, he asked if we wanted it in the same place as the old box or another location, he removed the old box and post, installed the new one were we wanted it and cleaned up every thing. Job well done! Highly recommend!

We had our mailbox replaced today and it was a great experience. Chris sent us pictures of different colors and was very responsive to my emails and texts. He even went out and bought a different stain color that we specifically wanted. He came while we were at work and you would have never even known he was there. The mailbox is beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing. I had an emergency mailbox need, but Chris was backed up on work. He came out and installed a temporary mailbox for me right away. Then, a week later he was able to come back out and install my permanent box. A beautiful white post with a very large lockable black mailbox - it was not his usual install, but he easily takes custom orders as long as he can source the materials, and he is very up front about what he can and cannot get. It looks great, and it is very sturdy. Very professional, and I would strongly recommend Southern Post and Box to anyone needing a mailbox of any type. Thanks, Chris!!

Im uncertain how to rate this business. They painted the post the wrong color (it was matched incorrectly to my specifications) and Ive asked them to repaint it. Will post again when and if they do the right thing.
