Very helpful and good selection!!Update: we just drove 2 and a half hours out of the way while we were on my birthday trip so my husband could come and browse here again. He loves this place. Best tackle shop ever. Stopped in there because I was lost and needed to find the boat ramp. Had broken a very pricey fishing rod. He happened to be a dealer of that brand. I told him about it they told me they would make a call and to come back the next day. When I went back they had a new rod shipped there for me no questions asked knowing I was tourist. These guys are all about the fisherman. They have a awesome supply of quality tackle to boot. We a back down there again next year for another tournament and I will be stopping back in there every time Im in town to stock up. They earned a customer for ever with me and the rest of the guys I travel with

This place is very cool, they have some amazing home made jigs, swim jigs, chatterbaits, and hand poured soft plastics. If you are visiting lake chicamagua and bass fishing this place has some great lures I would definitely recommend to go check this place out.

They make their own baits, interesting plastics colors. Fix eyes on my rod for a decent price. Large selection of crappie baits. You really need to see for yourself.

Soddy Custom Baits and Tackle is a great place to shop for tackle because they carry quilty stuff, as good as Bass Pros, and they custom make tackle you cant get any where else. The staffs allways helpful, letting us Know what the fish are biting and showing me what and how to use it!! A wonderful experience all around. I rarely shop any were else.

I called this shop with an odd question, they were very nice about it. The man on the phone helped me a lot, and even told me about things pertaining to the question I asked that I wouldnt have thought of. I appreciated his help and plan on continuing my shopping here.
