15 people in line including mostly elderly and at least one person in a motorized buggy. Only one register open. A long line waiting to do self-checkout. These people are supposed to be socially distanced and Im guessing if they were capable of doing self-checkout they would not have been in such a long line. This is not right. Walmart believes they are saving money by not having more cashiers available. In the long run this is going to cost them more money than they will ever save. People are going to buy fewer groceries because they know they cannot do self checkout with $200 worth of groceries. Self-check out should be an option for people who only have a few items. I want this Walmart to succeed. Our community needs it. But the direction that corporate is taking it is not working. Im sure the employees are doing the best they can.

Their grocery pick system is the greatest!! Simple to use. Always ready when I get there. Sarah Adam or Bradley were putting my groceries in my car today. So polite and efficient. And its all free!! No 5 dollar fee like Food City!

I was an employee there for a month, told them I went to school talked to my scheduling person multiple times had to call out FOR SCHOOL, them I got sick for three days and they terminated me WITHOUT A NOTICE. My supervisor was a narsaciste only talked about himself and the whole online crew had attitude problems.

FOUND THE PICTURE FRAME THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR & A BELT THAT MY HUSBAND LIKES. WE WERE IN A VERY NICE LADIES CHECK OUT THAT WAS SURPRISED THAT I WISHED HER A NICE DAY. ONE OF THE NICER ONES AT SODDY DAISY WALMART. I BELIEVE HER NAME WAS GAIL. NICE GETS NICE BACK.

Very clean and orderly store, very well stocked. Check out pleasant. Young man in yellow vest with strawberry blonde hair(sorry dont know his name)was so very helpful to a tired old granny.

When are they going to bring the cashiers back? Its pretty agravating checking myself out then having to wait for help when something dont ring up right.

Friendly staff and everything was easy to find. Not long lines at check out so it made it a much quicker trip. I had to get some produce and that is an area that needs major improvement.

I guess Walmart is suffering from the same thing everyone else is right now. It’s hard to compete when the government is paying people to stay home. I went to the store for 5 basic items today and 3/5 were sold out. Who would’ve thought Tylenol, White T Shirts, and Loofahs would be out of stock? Checkout lines are too long. I spent 1.5 hours shopping and .5 hours trying to get checked out. I am older and it is all I can do to load and unload my groceries so many times and I dont intend to check them out too

Definitely spend alot of time in Walmart, even though they seen to be understaffed, long lines with only 2 cashiers at their registers. I hate using self service but I dont want to spend the entire day in a store

Great selection of course, the only dissapointment is after spending an hour shopping in there and going to the checkout with a full buggy ($300.00+) having to stand and wait another 30 minutes to check out because they only see fit to have TWO registers open out of 12 available. ALL registers should be open and available ALL the time! I refuse to use self checkout because I DONT WORK THERE!

I usually call my orders in for whatever I need. At this time, its hard for me to walk for any length of time. Otherwise, I would be at the store once or twice a week like I used to be. I really miss getting to do the in person shopping.

The soddy daisy walmart is absolutely the worst one in the world if I go to walmart I go to the one in dayton. I have been cursed by an employee at the one in soddy and they also refused to let me and my mother use one of the lanes that just opened soddy walmart abuses their employees also I watched one woman work a line plus the service center at the same time while other employees just watched her from a distance. So if you need a walmart go to dayton they are sweet and will treat you like family

This is a terrible store. Poor selection, the shelves seem to frequently be empty. And the checkout lines are extraordinarily long, even by Walmart standards. It is commonly this way rather than an isolated incident. It is just unbelievable. I will shop elsewhere.

The nice lady that was counting customers said there were 522 customers in the store. I had my mask on and every 4th or 5th person that I seen wasnt wearing a mask? I cherish the life of my family. This is something that needs to be addressed or ill start shopping elsewhere.

An employee accidentally ran over my wifes foot with a pallet. He was very nice about it but we asked to do an accident report because the wound was very dirty and bleeding. She waited for a very long time at customer service for a manager. Finally an assistant manager named Ian, who seemed deliberately and aggressively apathetic and disinterested, showed up. He claims he did an incident report and said we would get an email copy. That was over 6 months ago and it never came. Ian also never once apologized, asked if she was okay, or got any real details about the incident. He also never offered to get a first aid kit or a bandaid. He made it very clear that neither he as an individual nor walmart cared one bit about her injury or the safety of its customers. But the guy who actually injured her was very nice and apologetic. I guess he had at least some of his soul left that had not yet been sucked out to be used as fuel for the capitalist war machine that is Wal-Mart.

The trip was alright. People are not doing the covid stuff as well as they were and Walmart isnt intervening. Store was out of the main product I went for but, was able to get other items and will have to just go back. Oh, the bags were defective and only have 1 handle. The sales person over checkout said they all were like that. But, overall it was your basic trip to Walmart.

Not a pleasant atmosphere to shop in. A lot of customers did not have masks. Some of the ones that did have masks they were not covering their nose and/or mouth. It was the public that were shopping that brought down the score.However, the employees were very helpful telling me where certain products are located. They were also very busy trying to stock shelves. Very plesant employees.

Only one door is open. To go to the garden/outdoor furniture section we have to walk all the way from single main door. And outdoor furniture was all empty (no furniture in stock). We discovered there was an open door at the back of the garden section. The employee sitting at the exit at garden center didn’t let us out. My wife is 7 months pregnant and high risk for COVID and still she didn’t let us out when we told her. HOW RUDE IS THAT. SHE COULD HAVE JUST LET US GO OUT FROM THE GARDEN DOOR.
