I really love this Einsteins bagel place, it is super organized/ clean & delicious… It has a nice outdoor patio & a very friendly staff! i think this is because of the Mananger Mawi he is truly superb and always in great spirits, greets everyone with a big smile, manages his staff well and he seems to be a very hard worker going the extra mile to help all the customers, making them feel noticed & care for… i have been coming here for a while and it has been consistently excellent so decided to write this review to give Mawi some praise because this kind of Spirit is rare to find these days! This is definitely my preferred neighborhood bakery to visit here in Solana Beach 😉❣️🥯

The cheese bagel was delicious, I had a white mocha latte wish I really liked. However my girlfriend had a regular coffee wish its self-serve and it was cold. Other than that it was great.

This is the Einstein right up the street from my house. This is the 3rd/4th weekend in a row I have come and they did not have my bagel. I get here early in the morning and they claim they sell out before hand. When I addressed the situation the manager was not very nice and said that he has other things to do. If your store knows you sell out of a certain bagel super quick you would they they would catch on the the trend/demand and make more. Terribly run business.

This place has bomb bagels, fresh coffee and s superb manager (Mawi). All thumbs up!!

The service and bagel selection is horrible!!! Short staffed and out of many bagels… they can’t keep up!!! I won’t return to this location!! The manager is working as hard as can be but not a way to keep your customers happy…

This place presented a welcoming environment as soon as the door was opened. The excellent customer service continued all throughout the ordering of my quick-fix food. Everything tasted very fresh and did not disappoint in the slightest. Unfortunately, there are other locations mich closer, but this Einstein Bros. truly left a solid impression from my visit and Ill strongly consider popping in whenever Im nearby. Thanks, this was my welcome to CA moment as a new resident.

Friday, August 7, 2020 around 11:30am. Cashier with the chest hair and gold chain necklace watched my wife and I walk in and WE had to greet him with a “hello.” He took our orders with an impatient, annoyed attitude. My wife did not get her complete meal. Please work on your customer service skills. We will not be back to this location.

Good bagels very soft spongy and doughy . I wish it was a mom and pop one off bagel place but it is a chain. That’s why I only gave it three stars.

Its easy to rate a place highly when everything goes right. But what if everything goes sideways? We visited this location on a challenging day with system outages galore. The whole staff had grace under pressure, made sure we were taken care of and kept a great attitude. Thank you!

Very amazing bagels. The workers are very professional and friendly.

I stood at the order counter for at least 5 minutes while 3 employees were talking at the cash register, no one even acknowledging me. Made my order, to go, hey half way down the street and notice they missed half my order in the bag. Had to go back and get it, and they werent even apologetic for their mistake.

Love the location, the freshness of the bagels and lox. Staff wants to do a good job. Biggest challenge is they are always running out of coffee as the coffee blows away Starbucks.

Fast and amazing service. The bagels are freshly made as ordered right on the line that is open to the publics eye.

Should have known when it was empty during Friday lunch time. The bagel was fresh but the turkey tasted spoiled and the sandwich was covered in some awful cheese sauce (no mention of cheese on the menu). The potato salad was ok but not enough to make up for the sandwich. Service was friendly but I wont go back.

A friend introduced me to Einsteins quite some time ago, and I fully agree that they have exceptional bagels, but there is a female employee at this particular location who has been tremendously rude to me twice (once in person and once over the phone). If it were not for how poorly she treated me, I would certainly give 4 or 5 stars. I agree that the staff becomes easily overwhelmed when busy (as noted by another reviewer). I work in an industry when work becomes extremely chaotic but this in no way excuses treating your clientele poorly. Not to mention, for the in person incident, I was the only person in the store. Over the phone, she lost a sale for which I was going to order breakfast for a full staff because she was so rude. I could understand if I Initiated an attitude, but I was polite from the moment she answered despite her nasty disposition from the beginning. Its a shame because I would love to come here more often on lunch breaks and what not, but the idea of having to deal with employee keeps me from returning. Ill come back if I notice she has moved elsewhere.

No hazel nut coffee. Was looking forward to it but to no avail. Looked like they had No intention of brewing the coffee... very disappointed.

Bagels are ok. A lot of times they arent well stocked in the early mornings and there is generally a big line when I go. I prefer the bagels from Vons right next door.

There is an employee here who took my wifes order named Analyse (or name similar to that) who was incredibly rude. The sarcasm in her tone was so blatant. The racist undertone was also very evident. The whole experience was disappointing.

Ok. Only go if you like either bagels or great coffee. Everyone there is friendly and the service is on point.

Im less accepting of the long lines at this Blue Bottle since there seems to be so many other great places to get coffee -- even Einstein Bros coffee -- in Soma. Still, if youre near this intersection, and need your fix, theyll be happy to serve you up a Gibraltar.
