The store is not as big as other stores but Tyler can get you quickly any sample you are looking for at great prices. With our floor installation everything ran smoothly and they did a very professional job. We even bought and installed the carpet with them to. I do recommend this store for all your flooring needs. A few years ago we purchased wood flooring from Tyler McCray at West Coast Flooring in San Marcos. It was a pleasant experience. We again ran into Tyler at the San Diego Home Show when looking to remodel our Kitchen. He recognized us and showed us some carpets because our next step was to re-carpet. We kept in touch for a few months and when we were ready we did not have to shop companies because we knew we would get great service from Tyler. Tyler and his team at West Coast are fantastic! I first used them in 2009, when we first moved to California. We had such a great experience that we needed some more flooring work this past month in June (6 years laters) that I went straight to West Coast again and asked for Tyler, luckily he was still with them only in the Solana Beach Office. Tyler was kind enough to fit us in for an estimate on a short notice (couple days), even when he had a full schedule. He was quick and prompt on the estimate. We also were able to get a quick install on saturday, the young lady in their install dept (sorry I forgot her name) was also great. The installers were quick and efficient. We were satisfied with the carpet, price and installation. Great team of people at West Coast Flooring. Make sure you ask for Tyler McCray! Highly recommended.

We, originally, were looking to make a change from carpet to hardwood in a couple areas of the house and re-carpet the rest. We shopped at Coles and Americas Finest before stopping in at West Coast Flooring. After the first two stores, I had the bad feeling that I was paying way too much for product and labor, kind of like the feeling you get buying a car and wondering how bad they are gouging you. Tyler at WCFC in Solana Beach was a breath of fresh air. He talked straight and delivered on his promise of best price and highest quality. The other shops make it impossible to compare products by changing product names and double talk. Tyler was upfront about the whole deal and patient with us as we changed from hardwood to laminate to just re-carpeting the entire house. (saving $1700 and getting better carpet) The install guys went the extra mile and did a perfect job and were very easy to coordinate.

For a small store they have quite a selection of Wood, carpet, tile/stone, laminate and even CORK!! Their prices are EXTREMELY competitive too!
