Best cookies with the best variety! We stopped here on our way back to LA and did not regret it. Now a days gourmet cookies are a bit pricey but it is well deserved with the time that it put into it. These cookies are so soft it’s insane! Usually soft cookies tend to be undercooked but these are so delicious and don’t fall apart. We pretty much tried all of them except the ones with peanut butter. Just a personal preference. But I feel like those would be bomb too. Def coming back soon!

Best cookies in San Diego!I know this place since a friend of us one day (before COVID) take some of this cookies to a party.Been honest we forgot completely about the address of the place aaaaaand we found them one day we where driving by!This is a small store with the best cookies in town, the staff were very kind and helpful.

Unfortunately cookies weren’t well stocked, barely any selection for us when we got there 2 hours before closing on a Friday. Cookies itself tastes okay, but a little too sweet for my liking, definitely need something to drink or ice cream to balance the sweetness of the cookies.

This is my new favorite cookie shop! Their cookies arent too sweets (I have sweet tooth but I dont like any of my treats too sweets.) - they are just perfectly balanced! I just finished one Marlena and its so good! Also got some other cookies which I will pause myself to try more later ;-) If you havent stopped by, please do. Their name is Sumptuous cookies and that’s exactly what they are. I found out about this place after I saw they were selected as a favorite by San Diego’s best of the best. I was not disappointed. You won’t be either! The best cookies and ice cream.

I have been here many times for cookies, they are great and Ive paid $10 for 3 cookies. Very pricey, but still splurged. They delivered a birthday cookie for someone in my office with no note card telling a name and who sent it...just name on cookie. Delivery service couldnt tell us who it was for (full name) or who it was from verbally. We gave it to the person in the office with that name who is also having a birthday right now. Turns out it was for someone else in the office, not an employee, so we didnt know his birthday or that it could be for him. I called Solana Sumptuous cookies and spoke to Scarlett - and despite their mistake, they refused to replace the cookie for the correct person as someone (incorrect person) did eat the cookie, it was consumed. What???? I let Scarlett know that is bad business and let her know I would leave this in a review, she said go ahead and repeated they werent replacing it. She didnt care. My entire office is listening to the convo in disbelief. After I asked to have the owner call me (as I didnt want to pay to replace the cookie), I get a call back from Scarlett stating they are working with the person who placed the order to resolve the issue. Thats great news they will correct their mistake, however customers should not have to get upset and put their foot down to get them to do the right thing. Needless to say I wont be back.

It’s safe to say that Solana Sumptuous cookies is a whole cookie experience! The cookies are truly the best in San Diego and so is the ice cream! My personal favorite is the California Magic because I love the gooey dark chocolate in combination with the white chocolate. The staff was so helpful and even gave a free ice cream sample! I would rate Solana Sumptuous Cookies a 10/5 if I could!!

Stopped in for a treat while visiting from out of town. They have the best cookies and ice cream. Their service was absolutely the best. The Solana Beach Cookie is the best cookie I have ever had. My daughter is a huge Cookie Monster! It’s a must place to visit.

I highly recommend this beautiful boutique cookie shop. The staff is on top of it. They wash their hands as soon as you come in and in between customers. The cookies are super fresh. They hand craft them right in front of you and bake small batches all day so that they are super fresh. My favorites are the peanut butter and the raspberry cookie with dark chocolate. The churro is also insanely delicious.

These cookies are just so yummy! I have stopped in to buy a dozen or more cookies when down visiting clients and friends from the bay area. They never disappoint n now with ice cream as an addition they hit both of my weak spots especially on those hot summer days; Oh yeah, my clients love them as well. I first learned about this sumptuous cookie place over the summer when a colleague of mine drove up to the Bay Area with cookie tin gifts. Initially I thought who does that? but she said these were the best cookies on the planet. Boy was was right. The Solana Beach cookie is the best cookie youll ever have in your life. The coconut, the butter toffee almond, their milk chocolate, and the spiced rum raisin are also decadent. Immediately I called them to ask if they do shipping and I was so happy when they said the ship all over the U.S. I now order them about once a month to treat myself. I cant wait until we see a Sumptuous Cookie shop in the Bay Area.

I stopped eating cookies and other desserts because the high amounts of sugar would make me sick, but not at Sumptuous Cookies. While most cookie places make a dough and then change the fixings calling it a different cookie, Solana cookies each have their own unique flavor and taste. My favorite, the Marlena, has fresh organic raspberries and a harmonious paring of white and dark chocolate, it’s more of a raspberry truffle than a cookie (it’s more chocolate and raspberries than dough) . You can’t go wrong with any of their cookies and their extensive variety makes it hard to only get one or two. Baked to perfection, these cookies have crispy edges with a chewy center, (not raw like other places I’ve tried which made us all sick) Solana Sumptuous Cookies is THE place to get your cookie fix.Pro tip ( if you’re on a budget their base cookies are only $2.00 each when you buy them by the 1/2 dozen)If you’re feeling like splurging the trifecta and Marlena are worth every penny!

My favorite is the Marlena cookie! fresh organic raspberries for the win! it’s like a dark chocolate truffle with a hint of white chocolate and organic raspberries!!

They look amazing! I tried the chocolate chip and chocolate chunk. They were really too sweet for me and lacked really good semi sweet chocolate, vanilla extract and salt to balance savory and sweet in my opinion.

I just found Solana Sumptuous Cookies for the first time today on a Google search for cookies near me and what a find it was. These cookies are nothing short of amazing! I should have taken a photo of the display. There were probably 10 or more different types of beautiful and varied freshly baked cookies, all temptingly begging to be bought. I chose two and ate them in one sitting as I headed off on my errands. Normally, if I were to eat two nice-sized cookies such as these, one after the other, I would not feel that great afterward, but these were unique in that they were not too sweet, they were, quite simply, perfect. Theyre not cheap, but they are magnificent and I will definitely go there again and again, either for a quick stop (theyre conveniently located right off the freeway at Lomas Santa Fe in the little shopping center on the southwest side of the I-5) or to purchase a decoratively wrapped box or tin to give as a gift. If you havent heard of Solana Sumptuous Cookies, do yourself a favor and pop in. Youll be so glad you did!

Had these cookies on University Avenue before and enjoyed them. I just discovered the Solana Beach store and it is great to have one further north. The store is clean and attractive and there is an excellent assortment of cookies to choose from. I purchased some peanut and semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies.The cookies are all a good size and thickness. The peanut butter cookie was very tasty and baked just right. It reminded of an old fashioned peanut butter cookie with pure ingredients. The semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie was tasty but not baked enough. Light golden on top and more golden around the edges would be perfect, otherwise it feels to soft and not baked enough. I will be be back for more peanut butter cookies.

It was my Grandpas 100th birthday this past weekend and with Covid we couldnt all be together as a family, but I was able to make it special by delivering him a Cookie Bouquet from Solana Sumptuous Cookies! It came with 14 cookies, a card, and a bouquet of flowers - he said they were the best cookies he ever had! They were a joy to work with and allowed us to still make his day special, even from afar. I would absolutely recommend!!

Very confusing pricing, purchased 1/2 dozen for $14 ended up paying $22. When I questioned the pricing received an unwelcome and unhelpful response. Not a good experience Im afraid.
