Shout out to Brittney and John at Indigenous by Lu Rae. I was looking for a unique one of a kind table and Cedros Design district has a few shops that fit the bill. Indigenous by far has the most unique wood tables and highest quality. Not the mention the most reasonable. They are not cheap but you get the highest quality and they dont gouge you like some others. They have a showroom on at their store on Cedros. I was like a kid in a Candy store. Brittany the owner also showed me pictures of some of the pieces at their factory in San Marcos . I liked one that was in their factory and meet up with her husband John. The nicest people around. They even made a custom base for the table I selected to my specifications. Cant say enough :)

Love to go to this place whenever I’m in the area! Purchased a live edge plank that they shipped to my Dallas home. I had legs made for it and it became a lovely console table. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were in LaJolla in Feb 2019 and a local told us we needed to head to Cedros Ave in Salona Beach if we were looking for unique furnishings. We happened upon Indigenous by La Rue. Brittany showed us a number of beautiful slabs of wood that would make a beautiful table. While I wasnt planning to make a purchase that day, we found a perfect piece of tamarind with a live edge and bought it. Brittany said they were about 12 weeks out on production and sure enough we received it in 12 weeks back home in Tennessee. It is the focal point of our sun room and family and friends always comment on its uniqueness and beauty.
