I can’t say enough about my experience with Spicer Automotive. Professional, prompt and friendly from beginning to end. These guys really know what they are doing and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Nobody likes to deal with repairing their car, but Spicer make the experience enjoyable.

Got a new used car and took it to Spicer to check it over....they did a very thorough job and worked on a few issues. I have been going here for about 15 years and they have always been honest with me; they know I am always primarily concerned (freaked out) about safety, and they have guided me thru repairs that were necessary vs. not needed. Have Old Suburban and hoping to get another summer out of it for moving use. Had fuel line leak and Ed did great to explain me my options and issues to get fixed. In the end they worked through some options and now back on the road. Reasonable pricing and good explanation of options, thought it was close to the junk yard.

I have always had great experience at Spicer Automative over the years. Dave and his team has always been professional, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonable whenever I have had the need for their services.

Tried this facility for the first time with a little trepidation as I needed a relatively big job done- clutch on my 2007 G35 was shot. From a recommendation and other ratings online, placed my faith in this relatively small establishment. Service start to finish excellent, met with courtesy from young man who I later found out was son of owner, to the gentleman who actually did the work on my vehicle and gave me a brief overview of the work when I picked it up. A little stiff as to be expected the first couple of days but after a few days, shifting smoothly without problems. Glad I came here and will start bringing my families five cars here.

This is a Mickey Mouse hack Garage which couldn’t do an oil change properly, lied about my rear brakes being good without even looking at them (couldn’t be bothered to reset the Ebrake) and then offered me a sweet $500 deal for rear drums a week later... seriously, I wrote a specific note that the vehicle only takes 3.5 quarts of oil and these geniuses put a whole 5 quarts in... no excuse other than apathy or incompetence, and I’m leaning towards the later ... save yourself the time, money and headache and go to Conrad’s ...

Im very impressed with Spicer Automotive. My son and his family were stranded on their way home to Columbus because of transmission problems. Spicer recommended a towing service that arrived promptly and managed to squeeze the car into a busy schedule. They identified the problem and had them back on the road that afternoon. The bill was a very reasonable $207, including the tow.

Fair price. Did not try to rip me off like other shops in Solon. Excellent work. Took pride in their work. Kept me informed the whole time. No surprises. I would use them again. It is nice to be treated fairly.

Spicer Automotive personnel were fast and efficient in replacing a wheel bearing that had created significant noise while driving. They also provided a vehicle check up at my request and stated that my car was in good shape for continued driving.

Despite their being booked for the day, they fit my car in and replaced the starter. I picked up my car in the afternoon. The price was very reasonable. I have been going to Spicer’s automotive for a few years now and this is the reason why: David and his team mates have helped me when my Jeep latch malfunctioned spending time, on what I /we thought was got Be a five minute fix, ended up being about 30 minutes work, when I asked him how much? He said nothing come back for your next appointment, well I had to come back my Prius wheel bearing went out, when he quoted me his price, I did a check.. saw a competitors price was quoted 30$ less he bit only matched the price but ended up going 5$ lower and in today’s economy that means a lot!! The service is excellent, the mechanics are clean and professional and don’t waste your time go to Spicer’s !!!

Finally found an honest mechanic! Tires were making a noise and I was prepared for the worst. After an oil change and tire rotation and everything was back to normal. For the first time in my life I received a call letting me know nothing major was needed and I dont need to hemorrhage money for some made up issue.

The Spicer team did another fine job fixing my vehicle. The identified and repaired my coolant leak quickly. They also replaced my failed alternator and the dead battery. All why including customer-focused personalized attention.

These guys did great! not only did they give me professional advice on tuning up my vehicle, they were able to quickly asses that my vehicle had a misfire on one of its cylinders and that it might be due to an old spark plug. they saved me about $300 as i was about to get complete transmission drain and fill and it turned all i needed were new plugs. My vehicle now runs like brand new and ill be keeping my future maintenance needs with Spicer from now on!

Read the reviews prior to taking my vehicle in, noticed most were positive, so I decided to give Spicer Automotive my business. I had spent 2 hours at the dealer only to be given a list of 3 things that could be wrong and was told to come back and leave my truck for another 4 hours and they MIGHT be able to tell me the problem! (I think not!!!) Went to Spicer, dropped off my truck with a list of what my truck was and was not doing along with what the dealer said could be the problem. Spoke with Ed who had the problem diagnosed within less than 2 hours (bad TIPM.) Part was ordered on Friday and in on Monday. Because I needed the vehicle back, as my back up car malfunctioned, I was allowed to pick up my truck and return it at my convenience without having to wait any additional time to get in. Price and labor was reasonable and my truck is running as good as new. I would definitely recommend and continue my business with Spicer Automotive.

I had the opportunity to have my car serviced at Spicer Automotive Repair a couple of months ago.I was very pleased with the service that I received there. I was given a quote the day before I arrived and after inspecting my car, Spicer informed me that they could do the work for less than the quote! I was in awe to say the least! Honest, Friendly & Excellent Service at the worst time!!!My wife had gone to work in Medina and as she pulled into the parking lot, her brakes went out. I have not needed emergency auto service in a while, so, I did not know of a quick and honest auto repair shop. After I did a quick Google search, I found Spicer Automotive, which had multiple excellent reviews.I called the shop and asked them if they would mind if we towed the vehicle to their shop without me being there. I explained our situation, and Dave was very understanding and accommodating. I had to drive to Medina from Chagrin Falls, drop off a vehicle for my wife and return home to get a rental car that we could use while the car was in the shop. In the meantime, I called AAA and had the car towed to their shop.After I received my rental car, I called Spicer Automotive and they said the car had arrived and that I need not worry about coming by. They had the keys and would inspect the car and call me when they knew what was wrong. About an hour later, they called and told me the brake line had failed and the repairs could be done with a really fair price. There was no attempt to deceive me, no high pressure ... you need to have this done and that done, only an honest and direct answer to what our problem was. I told them to proceed with the repairs and they had the car ready by the end of the day.The next morning we picked up the vehicle. Whatever you need with these guys. I’ve been taking my cars here for years, and every time the work is done with a premier level service not found at most chain businesses. The reason for that is because since it is a single operation, there is a vested interest in the customer.
