Good ice cream, but strange service… I asked for a cone with whip cream instead of ice cream for my 1 year and old and they told me no… apparently it’s against policy to put whip cream in a cone.. at an ice cream shop.. very strange policy just hope it’s a TRUE policy and we didn’t just experience some form of discrimination, given that we are people of color…

Real yummy ice cream! Affordable prices. The music was a little loud so the employee had a hard time hearing our order (doesnt help that we have to wear masks, but thats not their fault). All and all though it was a good experience. Would eat here again.

This has been my favorite Ice Cream since I was a little kid. Year after year I feel the excitement for when they open in the spring season and the sadness when they close for the winter. Every time I go not matter what I get or tried I always love the Ice Cream it is the absolute best. There is a kinship with people who have had Honey Hut Ice cream everyone who has had it loves it and loves talking about it I always feel a bond when I talk to someone about it.The Solon parlor used to be my favorite it was filled with chalk boards that you can tell someone had fun being creative writing all the menu items on it was decorated and personal. They had a little chalk board for kids to write on while they enjoyed their ice cream and a huge map where people could post picture of them with the Honey Hut bee from all around the world. There was so many little personal things all around the store that made every time you went there feel like you were come back to a cozy home fulled with memories of joy.This year 2019 they got rid of all of those intimate things now it just feels like another place you can go to and get a good treat. I dont feel like its being against change or something to get used to. All of those little pieces of personality are gone and replaced with sleek digital screens. I feels like meeting a friend that you used to be so close to after years and not talking an understanding the person you once knew isnt there anymore.I still love Honey Hut and always will but going there has gone from a Joyful experience to just getting Ice Cream.

Heading home towards the Akron area, and were happy to call the Solon Honey Hut our closest Honey Hut. I grew up with the Old Brooklyn Honey Hut and later the State Road Parma Honey Hut. Moving away, Solon Honey Hut has been a delicious stop. We stopped today, and the team handled our order for 4 without any issues - orange blossom in a cone (with a cup to be safe), special small twister (with a lid to take home), chocolate peanut butter sundae, and the butter pecan sundae with pumpkin ice cream. Happy to still be able to get a Honey Hut fix at this time of year. Thanks, Solon crew!

Love this small chain ice cream shop. They are always rotating flavors. They staff local high school kids. Its always clean and everyone is always nice. Not to mention the price is great. Sadly I didnt take a pic of my ice cream but I had the Honey Graham junior single scoop. But if youre a chocolate lover the Dark Chocolate Cayenne was so good. Anyhow its our place to hit up locally for dessert. You should too.

Stopped by for a couple of scoops of ice cream. Fast service, it took me longer to decide on a flavor than to get the ice cream. Strawberry was the flavor and it was delicious.

Great neighborhood ice cream shop! Great selection and interesting flavors. They have a few benches outside to sit and enjoy your ice cream. I got the peanut butter chocolate flavor and it was really good, liked the chunks of peanut butter.

Their ice cream is wonderful! Orange Blossom is easily my favorite flavor!

The ice cream was great. But at first glance the store seemed closed. There wasnt any staff that we could see at the counter or anywhere inside. The lights were on and it was about 3:00p in the day. We cautiously pushed the door opened and the young staff started filing out of a back room. When I said to one of the workers we thought the store was closed she said, the open sign was on. Their customer service was not good. Ive come to that location before. I dont like that particular Honey Hut because of the staff. I usually go to the one on State Rd. which is great. At that location the staff is wonderful and the ice cream is great.

Great ice cream but service was very sub par. Went last night and was given half a cup of a twister while my other cup was full. Told any type of chocolate chips I wanted in my ice cream would have to be put in a separate container (which they always mixed for me in the past) with no real expla on why they cant. Wont be back any time soon. Maybe next summer but as of now 1 time this summer and Im ok on going back.

The customer service is awful. I think the employees get fired if they smile.Every time I go here there is such a grim atmosphere. Bad ownership?Ice cream quality is excellent.However, if you ask for extra nuts in a small sundae they charge an additional 1.50?I said that is .30 for each pecan? That is what we charge... employee answers with unfriendly voice. I have never seen such awful customer service at an ice cream parlor... or any store.

Theres a Honey Hut not far from the Cleveland Metropark Zoo. I would go there after every vist. Im so happy they have one much closer to where i live. This is some of the tastiest ice cream around!

Brought friends in from out of town. Found broken plastic in ice cream. Called to speak to mgr/owner told not there regularly. Rep that answered the phone was rude. Was offered refund if we drove all the way back. Informed them we werent concerned about a refund we just wanted to let them know so that nobody chokes on it if continued to be served. Awful customer service. Was my favorite ice cream place in Cleveland- no longer all d/t the awful customer service.
