Absolutely love our new bed from Mattress Firm!! My fiance and I were in desperate need of a new mattress, and we decided to check out Matress Firm in Somers Point, NJ on Labor Day! From the second we walked through the door our experience was above and beyond any expectations! We were immediately greeted by Roc and Darryl, and they explained to us that we could try out some mattresses to find what comfort level will best suit us. From there Roc asked many informative questions and showed us what beds would best suit our needs based on issues that were resulting in our old mattress. He was so informative and in depth with every aspect of each mattress we tried out. His knowledge along with the amount of attention and time he spent with us and really educating us about everything from the materials each mattress are made of to which style bed will help with various body aches and sleep issues really made the decision to buy from the store beyond easy. He was with us and checking onour comfort the ENTIRE time and we really appreciated that! The best part was he was able to find the mattress we wanted that is hard to keep in stock due to its great features!! Roc worked his magic and made sure we got the best bed for us and that it fit into our credit approval amount! He made sure we could get the adjustable base we wanted, along with the 5 year warranty for it!! He truly goes above and beyond for each customer, and their products are just as amazing as the service and knowledge of their sales people!! Our bed was delivered to us less than 48 hours later, And the delivery team was just as nice, helpful, and Deliver quick set up! Very good experience, hate shopping for a mattress but was surprised at the low pressure approach of the Sales person, Darryl Rodriguez. I purchased a mattress and when the mattress was delivered it was a lot harder then the one in the showroom. I was able to do a reselect on a different mattress without any problems. They are willing to work with you and try to resolve any questions or issues.

No stars... very disappointed I have been complaining and 3 people were very dismissive .. they had to replace the adjustable since it was broke the first time, and they knew this setting it up... complained they came back and my mattress is lopsided to the left now.. I am not happy and will never purchase again from this company .. they need a better trained staff!

When we initially bought the mattresses and box springs, our salesperson was Mr. Rodriguez. He was friendly and helpful. We were completely satisfied with our transaction.Then, several months later one of the mattresses developed a manufacturing defect. Things happen. But the mark of a quality company is not necessarily the attention a customer gets in the store at the time of purchase, but afterward if warranty help is needed. Today I went looking for a mattress from two local stores that dont specialize in mattresses, but sell them. I didnt find any that had the firmness i wanted nor the staff to assist. I started to settle but to my surprise amid this COVID-19 where several stores that specialize in mattress have been closed....i saw that my local Mattress Firm store was opened 🙂. I was welcomed by Nicole. It was nice having the time to check out all the firm mattresses. I ended up buying a King size set that is really firm. Thank you Nicole for your assistance. Justin is fantastic, I live in a pretty small house close to the beach and our stairway is narrow. I wanted an adjustable base and new bed and twice we were heartbroken when we couldnt get the base up the stairs. I had given up hope, but not Justin who made many phone calls... called warehouses, delivery people, district managers and just went so far beyond any reasonable expectation. You have no idea. I made my first purchase at Mattress Firm. I tried this one particular model and discovered after about 30 days that it wasn’t the right mattress for me. I purchased the Mattress online due to COVID-19 and didn’t have a chance to try out the mattress. I started to make phone calls to customer service and wasn’t able to connect with anyone for a few weeks. Initially, I was ver upset because the clock was ticking and didn’t want to have any problems with an exchange. I decided to walk into my local store and speak with someone face-to-face. This is when I met the person who would entirely change my customer service experience. I met with Roc and explained my situation. He was very understanding and empathetic towards my frustration. His listened to all my concerns about my experience and He took his time and walked me through the store and showed me some other options. It took about two hours of patiently listening to me try to make a decision on a bed that fit my needs and that was in my price range. Roc helped me find the bed that was more what I was looking for without overspending. He gave me a price I couldn’t refuse and assured me if I had any other issues, he would personally make sure I was a satisfied and comfortable. He made what could be a painful process tremendously easy. I walked in the store upset and angry. I walked out of the store extremely impressed with Roc’s attention to detail and desire to solve my problem. Sometimes issues happen with companies. But it is how the employees deliver customer service that can truly change the experience. Roc truly exemplified what going the extra mile for The customer looks like. I am grateful to have met him!
