Went here for the first time to celebrate a major milestone and was not disappointed. I was highly impressed by every little detail. First of all it is a diner but a true QUALITY restaurant in my book, and they did not skimp on the small facets of a good dining experience. The decor is very modern and cozy and the menu is spectacular! They literally have everything and their take on everything is even more amazing. The prices are ridiculously reasonable. The food! oh my god the food and the portions! People were staring at us a little bit because we ordered a mini feast even for two people it was a lot of food. First experience with French Onion Soup and it was worth it... truly made fresh. The deep fried mozzarella also exceeded expectations.Wellington Burger (just the name and concept alone drew me in), Fish and Chips and Osso Bucco... yes all that food for two people, we figured why not? ALL of it was fantastic and the service was also exemplary. I believe our server was Jordan... and she asked all the right questions and had a great personality made for customer service... she will do well in this industry for sure.If youre looking for very casual no fuss dining with an ambience of sophistication and a great menu, go to Windjammer, youll be very happy.
My husband said it was THE best western omelette he ever had and we will go back there again. Their waffles are also excellent.
Best seafood by far. Very generous portions of seafood, not just a huge pile of fries. Loved it.

The Windjammer used to be a diner. It seems that its not what it was. We ordered breakfast and it took approximately a half an hour before our food arrived. I believe our waitress forgot about us because my plate was only warm. Lukewarm chipped beef does not taste good...
It would be great if they would offer a few vegan options on their menu. How difficult would it be to have maybe a hummus platter, and plant-based burgers as a start? I was disappointed when the waitress informed me that the only thing the chef was willing to do for me was to give me the chicken stir-fry without the chicken.As a result, my companion and I went elsewhere. So not only did they lose my business that night, they lost 2 potential customers.There are more and more people going plant- based and vegan. And if you have nothing to offer them, theyll go somewhere else.
1st time here..and our food was AMAZING super large portions (we actually could have shared a meal). I enjoyed EVERYTHING about my food. They have a tent outside for dining as well. We got our food to go...please see picture I posted of the food..MEGA HAPPY!! I know where I will be visiting when we visit NJ again

Have been meaning to try this place for a long time; finally decided to do so. (As of February 2019, the website is a little lacking and the Facebook page isn’t much help.) That said, the Patty Melt was generously sized and cooked properly (amazing how few places actually do so). It tasted great! We had a late lunch and by the time we left it was getting busy. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Service was speedy and our server was great! Prices were a little high but not too bad. We’ll be back!

Great place to take the family for an affordable meal while staying in Ocean City. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. I would go before 5 PM for the specials, specifically the broil combo - consisting of salmon, stuffed shrimp and clam, crab cake and scallops. The only thing I didnt like was the side salad swimming in water on my plate.
Delicious food and cozy atmosphere! I had lunch my first time and got the Bacon grilled cheese, my mouth was watering with every bite! So I just had to go back for breakfast and got a waffle with Nutella and slices of banana which was just as delicious as the previous meal! Fresh and sweet slices and creamy Nutella mixed with the prefect crunchy and soft waffle was the best Ive ever had. Their prices are just as amazing to tie the deal together, not to mention the cozy and comfortable setting of the diner!
Best restaurant weve been to on our trip to Ocean City NJ. Meals were excellent and worth every penny. Service and location are fantastic. Would definitely come back again!
Good food, a little pricey for some things, but a nice experience .
We had a larger group (10 people) so we expected a wait- no problem little over an hour. So we sat down around 7.30Waitress was rushed and rude- she brought my daughter the wrong thing and then claimed we changed the order and got really upset over it. We offered it just keep it to save her time but she insisted that giving us a speech about changing our order then made it worth it to her to fix it.I personally have celiac so I was told a garden salad was all that they offered gluten free but everyone else enjoyed their food.
The food wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t that good. Service was nice and attentive. Drink menu was virtually non-existent. Definitely a diner and not a “cafe, bar, and grill”Stay away from the coleslaw

Large menu with excellent food and large servings. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. I have eaten there with as many as a dozen people and our servings all arrived at the same time and perfectly prepared.
100% meh. Food wont kill you, but certainly wont wow you. Bar lacks a lot of basic ingredients for drinks.
Love the food here. The staff is super friendly and the owners are sweethearts. I love to see family buisnesses do well. I highly recommend giving them a shot if you havent yet. Always leave here satisfied.

Basically an upmarket diner. Excellent food, good service. Had an amazing lump crab salad for dinner, so big had to take half home. Friend had lump crab cakes, big and beautiful, served with rice and veggies, veggies perfect, crab cakes delicious! Again had to take half home. Service was not bad but not too attentive. Waitress friendly enough but not really interested in waiting on us.
My steak medallions were not good.. All t.v.s had Fox News on, WHY? Little pricey.. our server was very nice.. wouldnt go back.

I love what I ordered. However, the childrens menu is not good (at least the chicken tender and fries were not good).
I had the Filet Mignon medallions with sautéed veggies and mushrooms along with mashed potatoes. Soup of the day was Cream of Chicken. Everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Seasoning was perfect, did not need to add my own. Filet was tender and moist. I’m usually nervous getting anything with chicken because of fatty chunks but the chicken in the soup was lean and had A LOT of it! I did take out and can’t believe the large portions and how hot the food was. And a shout out to Steve who took my order. He was so sweet and accommodating. Would recommend this place 100%!!!

Much fancier inside than it looked outside. Sat at bar table, bar tender was older woman who was extremely polite and attentive to her tables. Had a smile that you could see through her mask. Loved her wonderful service. We had the french onion soup LOADED with flavor and lots of onions, the Chipotle chicken wrap, the mini crab cake appetizer which was small crab cake balls served on a very flavorful aoili and had the pierogues. Pricing wasnt terrible.Had happy hour drink specials decently priced. Place was clean, even the bathrooms.

The food the atmosphere and the outside dinning. It was a fantastic experience to enjoy dinner here. I had never eaten at this restaurant so I didnt know what to expect. I tell you what I will definitely be back! I didnt have to ask for anything like a refill or extra napkins. I really enjoyed the food and the waitress. It makes a huge difference when you dont have to wait to ask for something and you get what you pay for. Go here for your next meal!

We stopped here on our way into OC. We sat in their outdoor tent for breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were a very nice size. The staff was very friendly and accommodated us quickly. It was down-pouring while we were there and they didn’t skip a beat with their service. We will definitely go back.

Breakfast specials there are none. For 2-eggs home fries meat and toast $9.58 plus tip add coffee or tea your looking at a $14 plus breakfast for one at a diner. Went to point diner same breakfast included coffee or tea $7.50 plus tip you do the math. Good bye windjammer.

I am new to the area and I wanted a pork roll and cheese sandwich. So I search local breakfast near me and came across Windjammer Diner Bar-and-Grill. I placed a order to go. When I picked up my food I was greeted by Ginny. She was very friendly and I mentioned I was new to the area. We had a nice conversation and she envited me to bring back the family for dinner with a gift card. I was pleasantly surprised by that and very greatful. As for my food I only ordered a Pork Roll and Cheese and Hashbrowns but they were excellent. Exactly what I had been craving since the move. They have just gained a loyal customer for as long as I am in the area. Thank you Ginny.The diner looked very clean and plenty of room to dine in and feel comfortable if you are worried about Covid.
This restaurant is beyond amazing! They accommodated a difficult situation quickly and efficiently. The food was amazing too! Also Dave is the best server I’ve ever had at any restaurant. If the owner is reading this he deserves a raise or something because he was great!

So, we stopped here while visiting the area and we were shocked by the lack of COVID-19 required sanitation. While the food and service were exceptionally good, the measures being taken to safeguard customers don’t compare to most other establishments. Tables and chairs were not sanitized between customers, but simply wiped down with the same wet cloth over and over. Condiments were brought from table to table and not sanitized at all. Paper menus were recycled. Other restaurants discard paper menus or laminate them and sanitize between customers. I understand these are difficult times particularly for restaurants and we have continued to patronize them as much as possible by visiting or ordering take out. All the establishments that I have been to are taking extreme care to keep the public safe. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this restaurant for these reasons.
