Update Nov 5 2021. For the last couple of weeks the electric carts DONT WORK! I have indicated this to the service desk and even a manager without any success.Today I came in at 9am and 4 carts didnt even show a charge status! I finally found a 5th cart that worked and went dead shortly after using. I now go to English Creek ShopRight. This was a great place, shame I cant go there any more.I go here early in the morning. Most people have masks on, about 70%. I use the mobility scooter and I never have had a problem or low battery. Even when I showed up a lunch time. Carts can handle up to a 500 lb person.Store is clean, very big and all the meats, fish, vegetables and bread are great. Never had a bad piece of food.

ShopRite English Creek is where I shop but I went to the Somers Point ShopRite was in the area ordered my deli using their app. Which I love everything was to be done at 4:30 to pick up and it was sliced perfect I added a little picture just show you how nice the meats were for that service I give them all 10 downside went there for the lobster bisque soup had none not even one that was disappointing other than that its a gorgeous store much better than egg Harbor township lot of traffic in the area definitely a place to go also when I got home the lunch meat was cut perfect the way I requested it so I made some regular subs Ill show you some pictures

Good prices, good selection of products - including a nice spectrum of products for people with specific dietary needs or preferences. They have a really solid gluten free section, a lot of the milk alternatives that I have found difficult to source in other grocery stores. They have done a wonderful job maintaining cleanliness in the stores, and helping to keep their shoppers safe and feeling safe. I reserve my last star for their produce. It is most unfortunate in such an otherwise great grocery store. Unfortunately, I have started to visit a competing grocery store that is within close proximity for produce. It got especially bad with orders starting around Spring 2021. I was visiting the store regularly, but at a certain point I had to pick up a few orders, and one two occasions have them delivered. I had several orders in a row with rotten or close to rotten produce. My last order - I purchased a cantaloupe - went to cut it up less than two days later, and it was rotten. The order before that my cherry tomatoes and blueberries were both bad. Its disappointing and a shame really because I like this store a lot. Hopefully, they can get it together in the Produce department soon so, I can start buying all of my groceries in one place again.

Very good. Loved the supreme crab cake. Next time Im going to try the crab balls. Friendly service, good value for the quality of the food.

I placed a large online catering order from this location and was impressed. The only thing I would change is that you cannot add a smash cake to your online order. It was an easy experience and I would have them cater my next event.

Every time and I mean every single time I’ve done grocery pick up with this store I always have something wrong with my order. Today I had a pick up order and one of the items was Fage Greek yogurt, now I could understand if the item was out of stock and they needed to substitute another Greek yogurt in its place but of all things a 1/2 gallon of whole milk was what the personal shopper deemed fit.. like you’re telling me to make my own or it’s dairy so that should do.. this grocery store is a joke. I also tried to call customer service but it just continuously rang so I knew either way this wasn’t going to be fixed, the whole point of doing pick up was so I didn’t have to go grocery shop with my toddler and infant so I’m not about to load kids in the car and try to fix this while my toddler is acting a fool etc.

This is the best Shop Rite in this area. Always clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Shelves are stocked. Lots of variety to choose from.

Very expensive! Choose the dollar tree next door for better prices.

Staff was extremely helpful when I asked if they had any more of a item in the back. The guy went above & beyond when he couldnt find the item at first.

Standard ShopRite. I am generally able to find what I want just like in any other ShopRite. I think this one is a bit nicer than the Galloway and Egg Harbor Township one though.

I am.so sick of going to this store and buying expired food. Went there last night we were in a hurry grabbed Shoprite presliced pepperoni already packaged and yes the expiration date was September 21st, now today is October 4th. Tell me why that is even on the shelf still. When I called today to tell them there resolution was oh just bring it back and get another. No thats not just a quick resolution, how many others out there have bought that didnt notice and then got sick, because I even tasted it and it was most certainly bad. There is a specific person for each department u cant tell me they cant take down expired food, I mean come on now.

Great produce and meats, and its very clean. My daughter was with me and she enjoyed checking out the lobster tank. Very clean. I took off one star because some items are a little pricey and I find I can get cheaper at Walmart, specifically like chips and snacks my kids like. But its my first choice for meat and produce.

This SR has Eveything the other Shoprites dont have. Large deli and cooked food area is nice and clean .Have large section and variety.Butcher and Fish Monger workers are.excellent.

This store is extremely overwhelming and most people that works here dont know where anything is. Vegan items are all mixed in with non vegan things and it very unorganized. A good tip is walk in and right away go order your deli stuff at screen. It should be ready by the time you are done getting all your other items.

What can I say it’s another supermarket. My mother prefers the Acme over by the old Kmart shopping center she said it’s a better selection is not as crowded. I personally like the crowds.

Dont get me wrong this was a large Shoprite, but missing a Shoprite liquors...or one next door. It was busy, nice produce dept ...I did the self checkout and had to purchase a reusable bag...just saying...

We have been Shopping at this store for well over 10 years as loyal customers. We placed an online order to be delivered for Sunday. My wife gets the email confirmation with an itemized bill of $247.00, which includes tax and delivery. My CC was charged for $280.00, which is a 33.00 difference!!??. When we called the Shop from home division, they couldn’t seem to figure it out. So, they put us in touch with the assistant manager. The manager acted as if we were inconveniencing them and lacked any empathy for our situation. The manager was not apologetic nor was interested in trying to accommodate us. The manager stuck to the fact the original email sent was an estimate. I can understand the difference of a say 5 dollars or so, but $33.00? I told the manager I felt as a customer deceived and misled. The manager did not care, not one bit. There was still no apology or empathy on their part. The manager was short and to the point and did not care to even honor a discount. Who ever owns this ShopRite needs to seriously retrain this employee in customer service because this person is flat out horrible at it. If this person as a leader to the team is setting the example of how to give proper customer service, then this store is in trouble.

Easy to navigate store. Good selection. Customers could use an upgraded.

The deli situation is out of control. 45 minutes to get a few slices of lunch meat? & 5 workers standing behind the counter just chatting? Revert to the old way when they had to do it in front of you, instead of diddling around for 15 minutes between each order.Also I can’t even fathom how much lunch meat is wasted since it takes 6 hours to get a 1/2 lb of Turkey.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Cashier (Michael) refused to accept our Price Plus card. After the machine repeatedly rejected our phone #, we showed him proof of our account on the app, with the corresponding number, and he still refused to honor it. He was rude and unbelievably unhelpful. Very disappointed in ShopRite

Wonderful very helpful staff! From the cleaner, to the deli, to the bakery, florist, managers, cashiers, produce, customer service, stockers, pharmacy etc...and if I left any dept. out Its because I dont know all of the departments. In essence, everyone in every dept. is kind and goes above and beyond when it comes to helping the customers. The people who collect the carts are always ready to put anything heavy like the heavy bottled water in my trunk and actually look for me to help! Special shout out to Thomas..thanks a million

Shoprite corporation should be ashamed 2hours wait for lunch meat the most hazardous job in the store 1st and last time deli workers only 2 were very nice

The customer service is fast and friendly. I buy organic bananas and there is an ample selection of other organic fruits, vegetables and meats. There are various organic foods throughout the store. I enjoy shopping there and searching for new organic items. I buy Killer Dave’s Organic breads. I buy organic eggs and you can taste the difference. It’s a large and friendly store: a great place to start your organic food journey!

Not the person that always gives a one for no reason. However, I went there today and when I was ringing out the cheese I bought was priced wrong. Not by a customer putting it back in the wrong spot however, because of the stores fault. When I asked if they were going to honor it the employees exact words were “Nope!”I am just overly frustrated with the customer service at this store for being a resident of SP also.I would have cost pennies to keep me happy and to get a better review. ⬇️

This shop rite has the best bistro Ive found in the three counties of South Jersey. I drive the three counties for work and I stop here often to eat. Definitely a must try if youre short on time and need a good meal.

The store is always clean and its easy to shop. They have a great gluten free section, which is important to me because I have celiac disease. Shoprite also seems to carry a wider variety of items other stores dont. It can get quite crowded, but I find most Shoprites do.

The store is great. However the parking lot is crazy. Be careful drive slow because others are fast drivers in that lot.

Worst ever ordered deli 732pm pkup was for 8pm waited till 845 pm to learn they shut deli early.Then a manager a asian women said she would give me a gift card.Well after another 15 minutes.i had enough decided to just eat at the diner.Will never go to any shoprite again.Worst customer service ever...

Went there to order a sub tray 4:10 in the afternoon couldnt find anybody working at the section finally found someone working they said it closes at 4:00 p.m. Im like really the sub department is closed so I wasnt able to order my sub tray for a party so I end up making myself saves a lot of money also they had their buffet stuff open with whats going on I wouldnt think they wouldnt open it egg Harbor township closed theirs need to keep the stations open

I always do my grocery pick up at Somers Point Shoprite because theyre always stocked well. Their Shop From Home employees are great, good communication and the people who bring the groceries out place everything in nicely. My only complaint is their parking lot, which isnt their fault.

Very nice store. They charge for bags and the bags are small and tear easily. Make sure you bring your own.

They have so many of the organic and high quality ingredients I only used to be able to get at Whole Foods BUT they insist on wrapping organic produce in packs of 2 in plastic wrap for absolutely no reason. Shame!

I like theyre bakery and tiramisu. Plus getting their sushi california rolls. Which are bigger than some restaurants. (Not tomatos) . I recently started using their delivery online service and signed up to be a member. They have special coupons Ive had some difficulties with ordering online, note to everybody who orders online youll get great discounts, it costs $14 for delivery MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT order it on a Saturday if youre ordering from the bakery because orders take processing time which could be a day or two and because if youre order takes more than one day you will not get the coupons applied for that week. Everything end up being full price because you cant add to your cart the items because they didnt put the sales in yet for the next week. Even if its the same item. so theres no confusion just order between like Monday and Friday or Wednesday. Other than that I recommend shoprite.

We visit this Shoprite frequently. Inventory is usually stocked and available. Store kept clean with sanitizing supplies available. I do think its time to open entrance and exit points at both ends of the store rather than having to enter and exit through different doors.

The review would have been a 4 Star but the chopped meat I got here after moving from Millville is 100% not the same. Tried it a few times. Way more fat content. For flavor I guess its good but if you have dietary restrictions as I do, I would get that somewhere else. Store itself was well stocked and very friendly staff

The ShopRite of Somers Point is always welcoming, well stocked and the products are very reasonably priced. I have been shopping there for many years and have found it to be very consistent. I recommend perusing their excellent advertising flyer to take advantage of the products on sale. Due to no fault of ShopRite, I would recommend bringing your own reusable bags or pay for bags at checkout time. The Somers Point ordinance requires it. Happy shopping!
