Found the perfect dress at The Steel Magnolia! Megan was so great to work with. She made it so easy and stress free. They have such an assortment of dresses theres no way you couldnt find the dress for you. And the prices are so affordable! So happy with the experience as a whole ❤

I went to TSM for my dream dress. My appointment got messed up but they managed to make things work. I was only allowed to try on 3 dresses cause that’s all they had in my size. The last dress I tried I really loved but the zipper was messed up so she did take off some of the price and because the zipper was messed up the dresses didn’t get zipped in store. I went to put the dress on a week or two later and it didn’t fit so I assumed I gained weight but the dress never fit me at all cause I didn’t gain weight cause all my regular clothes still fit. I tired to exchange the dress or return it but they couldn’t it was policy so here I am 2 weeks before my wedding with no dress they wanted to sell me another one but my experience was not good they weren’t very helpful for anything at all I lus I didn’t get to get a picture with the I said yes to the dress sign. I got sold a dress that didn’t fit me and never fit me. Than they didn’t make it right I did not have a good experience at all and had to get another dress else where

Highly recommend the Steel Magnolia! They had a great selection of dresses. She listened to what I was looking for and didn’t try to push anything on me. She took her time to help me find the perfect one and figure out the sizing. She was so welcoming and fun! I cannot say enough great things about this shop. We drove an hour and a half to come here, and it was worth it! I am very picky and have a hard time finding dresses to fit my tall petite body, but they were so accommodating, knowledgeable and professional.

I came to TSM from Lexington after David’s Bridal failed to order the correct dress I had chosen and many many tears. They say things happen for a reason and Im sure this happened so I could find my dream dress at TSM. Megan was absolutely wonderful as she spent ample time with me and let me pick out each and every dress I wanted. By the end of the appointment I had felt like we were friends and I never felt pressured to make a decision! I ended up picking a dress that was very similar in style but honestly was of much higher quality and beauty. They were even able to give me a recommendation to a tailor. I am more than excited to be a #TSMBride in just 3.5 months! Megan - thank you for putting up with me and making me feel beautiful and welcome! The workers here are so sweet! They make you feel really comfortable. They have so many beautiful dresses to choose from! I would definitely recommend them!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I scheduled an appointment with them to try on dresses. They never contacted me about my appointment. We show up to the appointment and the door was locked. I called the number and no answer. I emailed them and I DMd them on Instagram. If you schedule an appointment with someone then SHOW UP TO THE APPOINTMENT.

I had the best experience trying on dresses at the steel magnolia. The owner herself handled my appointment. I really felt like my appointment was all about me, which is exactly how any bride to be should feel.If you have a dress in mind then they can always help you find it or if you are open minded and willing to look around then they can help you figure out your dream dress.I would honestly recommend the steel magnolia any day, especially if you wish to have a special experience with an amazing owner.

Showed up with my sister early for our appointment and was rudely greeted. The sales girl asked us to wait in our car and come back at our exact appointment time. Thankfully when we came back she was not the one helping us. The girl helping asked my sister if she had a dress in mind. My sister responded yes because the only reason we came to this shop (3&1/2hr drive) was because they were listed as having her dress. My sister showed the sales girl the pictures of the dress and the girl said they didn’t have it but we could still try others. My sister agreed and told the girl she wanted a dress with sleeves. The sales girl said most brides think they want sleeves but they don’t. Then my sister comes out of the dressing room without any help and almost falls and the sales girl says don’t fall but you wouldn’t be the first one. As we go to leave the sales girl asks the owner if she would be getting in the dress my sister wanted she said no but my sister could pay $50, whether she bought it or not, to have it shipped to the store. We agree and the owner says she will call her dress loan contact. The owner calls and tells my sister it costs too much to ship it in her size so my sister would have to buy it without even trying it on. So one of the happiest days of my sister’s life was terrible and surrounded by rude people.

The Steel Magnolia has so many beautiful dresses! I had such a wonderful experience and had the sweetest consultant (Olivia)! I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted and even retried on my favorites. We never felt rushed which made it such a stress free experience. I said yes to the dress and I could not be more excited or in love with my dress! I definitely recommend all new brides to make an appointment with them!

The Steel Magnolia is such an amazing place! This was the first bridal shop I visited because I’ve heard so many great things about it, and let me tell you, all of it was true! Both Olivia and Lacy were so kind and wonderful from the moment I walked in to when I walked out. It’s honestly amazing how good Olivia’s eye for people’s taste is...the third dress I tried on was the one! The shop is decorated beautifully and is so clean. There are loottsss of options for dresses and plenty of room for your bridal party. I love this place ♥️ 10/10 would recommend!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Steel Magnolia when searching for my wedding dress! At first I was super nervous about searching for a dress because my fiance and I are getting married in only three months and many girls had told me about bad experiences they had searching for a dress with that little amount of time but mine was completely opposite! We were instantly met with a friendly smile and Olivia was so sweet and helpful the entire time! She really made sure my loved ones and I felt welcomed. The environment was very stress free and comfortable. She as well done a wonderful job finding us dresses in our budget and never tried to push that. I found the one after 4 or 5 try ons! Im so glad I made the decision to stop at the Steel Magnolia!Also, the area both inside and outside was spotless! And there was a TON of dress options. ☺️

There aren’t enough words to express my happiness and gratefulness towards the staff at The Steel Magnolia. After a day of wedding dress fails, I decided to make the short trip to Somerset in hopes that I would find my dream dress. I was greeted by the most lovely sales representative, Olivia, who made me feel so comfortable and special. She spent ample time with me, making sure I had every single dress that I wanted in my fitting room. She never made me feel rushed, she offered honest opinions (upon my request), and she was so hospitable. After trying on just a few options, I fell in love with “my” dress, and said yes! The Steel Magnolia has SO many options, and their prices are very affordable. The boutique is perfectly designed and decorated, it is very clean, and there is plenty of room for your friends and family to join you. Future brides, please take my advice- do not waste your time in Lexington. Trust me, I did! The Steel Magnolia has your dream dress for a much more affordable price! I’m sure of it! Thank you, TSM!! I had the privileged of wedding dress shopping at the Steel Magnolia. This experience was everything that you expect it should be! We had a room to ourselves where my family and friends could sit and relax and we were given individual attention from a sales associate. I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted and did not ever feel rushed. I was lucky enough to find the dress during my visit! They made the experience fun and exciting by taking a picture with a sign that says I said yes and posting to their Instagram! The dress came in within 4 months of purchasing. The only thing that was frustrating was that I went based on the size the sales associate told me which happened to be extremely large when I received my actual dress. This, of course, resulted in a lot of alternations. However, this was something that was easily fixed. Overall, my experience at the Steel Magnolia was great and I would recommend anyone who wants an amazing experience to go there!

My experience with TSM has been absolutely amazing!!! I was torn between two dresses and Olivia never once rushed me to make a decision or made me feel invalid for being indecisive. The girls there let me and my party go get some lunch, then come back and try the dresses on again! They were so kind and hospitable. When I came back, I made a decision and could tell they were genuinely thrilled for me. The selection is amazing and they have something for everyone. I cannot recommend TSM enough!! Love them!

I really, really enjoyed my experience at The Steel Magnolia. Making the appt was seamless and the dress fitting was remarkable. I was late to my appt, but Olivia at The Steel Magnolia was completely understanding and patient. I had an idea of the dress style that I wanted, Olivia helped pick out several dresses that matched my style. I was in and out in one hour. Dress in hand! Absolutely fabulous experience.

Was hunting rocks with my daughter, walked by and admired the gowns through the window, and yes between the two on display I did pick a favorite... 😉

Such a small location and I feel like the owners never clean out front. What kind of presentation do you expect to have if you dont clean the first area people see
