Somersworth store employee (James) was very helpful in trying to find someone to help us. We waited quite some time (over 15 minutes) and had it overhead paged for customer assistance. He eventually had to go into a meeting room to get someone out to assist us.

This is one of the better Home Depots around. Tool rental center has many items available. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

I ordered a washer from this Home Depot a few days ago. I picked it up today, brought it home, and opened it to discover it had been pretty severely damaged in shipping. I was on the phone for over an hour trying to arrange to have this resolved fairly. It was super difficult to get it taken care of, and the short version is that it is going to be resolved, but the amount of time and energy I have already spent and will have to spend dealing with the logistics of getting a new one and getting the old one picked up is absurd. It’s so frustrating. I highly suggest not shopping here.

Went to this store about a week or so ago while visiting the area, an employee kept staring me up and down making me feel very uncomfortable almost as though he was attempting to be flirtatious. This guy was short and had spiky hair. While investigating the matter further I did learn his name was Sean. So to Sean, I hope you learn to one day maintain professionalism. Until then, maybe you should find a new line of work.

Went in for a small, quick purchase.It would be advantageous to some of us Veterans if we had specialty designated parking places. It really wouldnt be rocket science to do it, probably for very easy. There are an abundance of spaces for the Handicapped. Why not for Veterans?YOURE MAIN COMPETITOR HAS THEM.Make it a requirement that a State issued Veterans registration plate be required to park there.Please think about it, Home Depot.......

Lately I have been trying to get a igniter replacement for my 3 year old grill, and in case it doesnt work I need to know how much I would spend on a new grill. When I visited on Friday, just before the weekend they were already out of propane refills. I paid a little over $300 on my 5 burner+searing place Char-broil Performance at the time, and I was disappointed to see that I had to spend over $500 on a comparable replacement in a different brand that I never heard of.On the brighter side of things, it was good to see some new patio furniture arrivals as they were scarce everywhere lately, good news for my friend who wanted to get a new set for over a month

Bought a gas grill and was helped by Kelli (pretty sure thats how it was spelled on her apron). She was able to answer all our questions and help us with accessories. Not a long or difficult trip but was pleased.

My go to when the mom and pop shops are closed early or Sundays. Paint center is phenomenal and custom cut lumber cant be beat. Helpful staff and easy to navigate floorplan, youll find what you need quick and be on your way to the job site on no time.

Bad experience. Went to buy a gas grill and a smoker. Big sign over the grill display: Free Assembly + Delivery on in store stock. No one there could help me - kept saying it was only for online orders, even though the sign clearly said otherwise. Left without the grills and the cart of accessories I wanted to buy. This is just bad business and probably illegal too.

Very friendly and I was able to find a associate pretty quickly. Dont understand why all the power tools and batteries were locked up and required the associate to carry them to check out.

This homedepot sells Grout but doesn’t sell grout samples or sample booklets, How do I know what grout I need if I don’t have samples to bring to my place of business to match? Guess I should buy everyone they offer and hope 1 out of 40 works? You guys sell a sample kit and your employees didn’t even want to help me order one or help me in any other way. Very frustrating, your store is always very helpful and nice but the staff working when I acquired a sample was not nice at all and I Waited 30 minutes just for help.

We have just bought a new house, and we did our floors over with the more waterproof /wood feel look porcelain tile and also built a fire pit with bricks from the ore for cheap. Great place to go to when being a homeowner. :)

Its like being convicted of theft with out doing the crime. I have no clue why they followed me around both uniformed and non. It was sadly obvious and insulting. I am a pro for them in referrals. So i found it offensive. Hope its not the new norm.

First time at this location. I did call before hand looking for a specific product (Lysol Laundry Sanitizer) and I wanted to know if in stock b4 going. Spoke to a seemingly nice young man who looked for me. Sorry, we dont have what your looking for but we do have other name brands I go there and guess what? There is no sanitizer at all just detergent and stain removers. I did end up spending $60. So I guess it we both benefitted. 🙃

Theyve got everything. I needed grass seed and they had it. Picked up some box fans too. Had to leave before I emptied my bank account on impulse purchases.

This place is beyond a joke I am a customer I had an issue I asked to speak to the general manager a manager came on and told me that he was not the manager he was just a shift manager and refused to give me his general managers name the manager that told me this and was so rude his name was Tim. When a customer asks specially a business customer who holds two different commercial cards when that person asks for a manager or ask for the GM it should be automaticNow I am not only going to be shutting my Home Depot cards down but I will be making sure that I reach out on every platform to show how rude you folks are

Slightly better than average Home Depot. If you have been to one before, you pretty much know what the expect. Used the tool center today and the process was pretty seamless even with covid-19 precautions in place. The associate that assisted me was friendly and prompt.

This home depot continues to be a pretty poor place to do business professionally. I have had numerous problems with orders here the past few months, and no attempt has been made to fix the issue by customer service managers; instead Im simply given shrugs. Since they were unwilling or unable to fix these problems despite spending in excess of six figures a year every year for the past seven years here, Ive decided to take my business to Lowes instead. Its about two minutes further away for me bit the difference in how Im treated as a customer has been night and day.The front line cashier staff is great at the somersworth HD though, and Ive gotten to know some of them quite well, but the way I was treated by the customer service center, whether doing returns where they somehow act like Im stealing from them personally, or an employee really trying to discourage me from speaking to his manager, to then manager saying he will look into the problem and then I never hear from them again...its not been good over there.

Managers Christine and Kevin have zero people skills and even less customer service skills. Go to Lowes

Its home depot. Fairly standard... The staff is hit or miss but those that dont know will find someone who does. We have a lot of contractors in this area so all of the building supplies are well stocked.

Found out they charged me for 4each 4x4x8pt when I got home and looked at the price each on my receipt, when I only bought 2each!!! Called them immediately and they couldnt credit me it back over the phone! So had to drive all the way back to Homedepot...22 min away to get credit for their mistake!!!! Not happy and definitely not impressed! All I bought was the 2 boards nothing else! How do they screw that up!

I had a fantastic experience at this Home Depot yesterday. The staff are just wonderful, genuinely care about helping you. Justin was very welcoming, helped me with my tile search, calculated the amount of cases I needed, went to great lengths to make sure I knew where everything was. David P was even better. He has a wealth of knowledge in lots of departments, especially flooring, and he walked me through/educated me about the different types of coverings I should think about for my basement. I couldnt be happier with all my purchases. I would highly recommend this store.

Just a regular home Depot. They have pretty much everything. Employees are well mannered but sometimes hard to find.. besides that a great store

The employees are clueless and trying to find someone to help you load up is next to impossible. A group of young men standing around trying to push loading up the wood we purchased on to their co-workers. They need better mangement and training employees would be nice.

So disappointed. Waited in line. Shop there all of the time. Have been adding plastic white latticework on my decks privacy wall. I need just one very small piece to totally finish. Had seen a scrap that would have been just right. That’s why I went there today. I found it in with scraps. I was told I was unable to buy it without paying the original price of the larger piece. So not right. So the store has this scrap and a very disappointed customer. I bought the rest of the latticework there.

Ran in today for something quick. Person at register had a mask on with her nose out. that doesnt work if your nose is out, I said.She responded, but I have to wear it longer than you . As I left the store, saw 2 more employees with their nose out as the one sat on a stool and the other stood talking. When I walked out, I saw an employee correctly masked pushing a long line of carts. Another correctly masked offering a customer help pushing her large cart. Both were out in the heat.I called the manager from the parking lot. Our employees sometimes do heavy labor and its difficult with a mask, was her response. I pointed out their inactivity. Our employees have been under alot of stress trying to meet the demands of our customers during this difficult time . I noted that I work in healthcare and wear a mask all day long and the employee mask is to protect the customer, as I wear mine in home depot to protect her employees .How come when I have people complain to me, I can graciously apologize and promise to address the issue but when I speak up, I am met with defensiveness and an uncaring response? I will see if Lowes or local hardware stores are better at protecting their customers.

Most horrible experience! Bought a propane heater, at home opened it and many missing part. Brought it back, two more on the shelf, opened it and same thing! Assistant Store manager didn’t care at all and zero customer care! Told us to go and buy one at Lowe’s!! Believe it or not, just happened!

Their appliance delivery times are awful. They give you a 12-hour window from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on a day in the middle of the week and expect you to be able to be home for all of those hours. its as if they have no realistic understanding that people have to work jobs. Basically if you want an appliance you have to call off work which sucks. They absolutely refused to give me any time after my work hours, and they also will not allow me to pick up the appliance they will only deliver. I will never buy anything from them again.

The Somersworth, NH store lacks any carr for COVID19 crisis. Cashier wasn’t wearing a mask and not practicing social distancing with the customer in front of me. She participates in a joke about people wearing masks without any sensitivity that many of us have buried friends during this crisis.I left my cart and left the store. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager. The person answering claimed to be a manager and just made excuses about dark humor. Not once did he:- empathize- apologize- offer to follow upThis store lacks any type of customer service. I do appreciate thr Newington location, but tofsy Lowes earned my business.

Dont ask to speak to the General manager Amy as she has not answered messages left, been available to handle to poor customer service at this store since April 6th. Still receiving notifications for an order I was assured was canceled weeks ago. But not only that it is horrendous that she cant be bothered to make sure people dont go else where or that her staff is properly informed of the changing situations with covid-19. As curbside pick up has been available for weeks and I was told to order online . Showed up to pick up items and told that they dont do that and that the items would not be in for weeks. As the project needed to be completed before then that did not work. So I then spent 20 dollars more instore for the same product basically to get this done in the allotted time. Now I am still being notified and charged for the mistakes her associates made in reguards to this matter. Order is still not cancelled just being told they are working on it. Do not use this store as the manager christine was yelling things and then hung up the phone and lied when the obvious associate was trying to ask how to have me complete this transaction. I then dealt with asst manager shawn or Shaun or sean who assured me that it was handled to only get notifications yesterday it was not. He couldnt be bothered to take my call in reguards to this matter today. And again Amy the GM wasnt available either. DONE DEALING WITH THIS STORE WILL DRIVE TO ROCHESTER TO LOWES FROM NOW ON !!! EVEN THOUGH THIS HOME DEPOT IS LESS THAN A .5 MILE AWAY
