Have bought 3 vehicles and have had great experience here

Been looking for a truck for months, everything is either rotted out or over priced with 200K miles or gone within 20 minutes of posting. We found an 08 dodge ram on their site, we called, it was available so I sent my husband down for a test drive, they had it ready to go when he pulled up. He loved it we bought it. It was clean, rust free and priced right. They were very easy to work with, everything was done on time and they did not push the extras. I would use them again and recommend Tony and his staff.

My husband and I bought a small used pickup truck back in January. Very pleasant to work with. We had a few things wrong with the truck in which they took care of for us with no hesitation. Definitely worth checking them out for a good used vehicle.

Buying a used car is never easy, and you have to realize...its a used car. Never really know what your getting, (anything could happen) other than a car that has passed state inspection and a 90 day warranty. I’ve had my car for a year and have had nothing but problems! They shouldve fixed these problems but they couldn’t because they weren’t noticeable!

We recently purchased a used 07 vehicle from Calef Auto. On day two we discovered that the starter needed to be replaced. Tony was wonderful getting us taken care of within a day at no cost to us. He helped us after hours and was very pleasant and apologetic. Their warranty gave us the confidence to purchase the vehicle and their customer service made the experience pleasant. I would highly recommend them, they stand behind their product.

The absolute worst place in the entire world to buy a car they will lie to you no matter what as long as they can sell you a vehicle I mean my cousin works there and sold me and my dad‘s our trucks Unfortunately at the time me and my father were sharing a truck and it finally broke down therefore we both had no vehicle she’ll be in family we figured a cousin could help us out since he worked at a car dealership he was very quick to jump to it obviously I got an 04 F2 50 super duty XLT crew cab very nice truck cousin said it was in great condition need a little bit of work in the back they change the bumper for me that was it tailgate had some chance no big deal older truck said everything is great I asked for Carfax report I could not get that without paying an arm and a leg for it when my father decided to get a truck at the same time from the same place same day you got a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 also cousin said very nice truck no issues no problems we got both the trucks that day they had to stay there they put a new bumper on the back for mine which was super important LOL not even two weeks later I had to replace all the ball joints brought it into a shop cost me over $1100 The warranty that we got with the truck wouldn’t cover it so that was out of pocket about two weeks after that I was driving to a friends house and a lady flagged me down to tell me that my truck was on fire the transmission was leaking onto the exhaust and caught on fire therefore I had to replace the transmission the warranty didn’t cover that either the great old warranty that my cousin threw in if we stayed at the asking price of the vehicle because I tried to talk him down his big get was well give you this warranty coverage hahahahs they haven’t done a damn thing I had to get transmission replaced the guy that did the work was an idiot show my dad drove the truck to North Carolina where we live from Maine halfway home the transmission blew the second transmission it’s out here for a while finally got fixed That was $6000 Also when I wasn’t me and I forgot I noticed at the bed wasn’t lined up with the body of the truck so I brought it to my cousin he said it was some kind of space or underneath that needed to be on the bed of the truck that must’ve rotted out so I need to bring it to the shop well instead of bringing it to the shop he brought me to his house where he then proceeded to with the bed up and check it well the bed wasn’t even connected to the front of the whole back of the truck the bottom disconnected from the sides up against the cab so he took a piece of steel bent it and bolted into pieces together and covered it back up with a bedliner forgot about that so the lines in my truck still go match looks crazy the other day I was driving my tire almost fell off people say that all the time not even close to falling off overreacting Well V axle on the passenger side was completely stripped out the bolt inside the hub so it was never holding on which is why overall this time my truck has felt really bumpy when I drive I thought maybe the tires so I bought brand new tires then I thought it might be the rims because they were a little rusty inside so I bought new rims had to get all mounted of course btw warranty don’t cover the axle don’t cover rims tires it doesn’t cover anything and what it does cover no garage anywhere in us works with them so it’s basically fake warranty so ya I’m sure I’m missing plenty oh yes I am I forgot month after having it driving to store the exhaust manifold header whatever right off engine are aluminum I guess we’ll that broke right into two that was 600 dollars parts n labor so that’s what can remember about mine my fathers he’s had to change all fuel lines the shifter broke off trans couldn’t shift needed new tires right away had engine problems overheating had to get a part for that and have it put in way to hard of place to do ourselves we’re not mechanics so they have made there living basically off me and him trying to get the trucks we both have payments on fixed every time we turn around...

I’m surprised to see so many one star reviews on here as my own personal experience was very nice. The owner is a nice reasonable guy and the mechanic is also very helpful and friendly. They have been very helpful to us! I would definitely recommend them!

Sales people were great. I didn’t buy the car but they were very respectful as well as very understanding and nice of the budget I had.

I bought a car a few months ago and I deeply regret it as it has done a few trips to the garage already. $100 for wheels alignment, straight out of their store, 650 for new tires a few months later, 450 for transmission, and another 700 for back brakes which are completely out. Truly disgusted, will never return.

The experience of buying from here was quick and easy. There was no pressure for me to commit to anything. Also, not long after my warranty had expired, my vehicle had an issue. They still helped me with the issue and even repaired what was necessary. Id highly recommend them to anyone, and will definitely check the next time Im car shopping.

My 21 year old daughter bought her first vehicle here a few months ago. They treated her like she was their own kid! Went out of the way to help her with the small financing she needed. She got a great deal on the truck (Avalanche) she has wanted since she was 10 years old. Great prices, quality vehicles and above all, amazing service!

Bunch of crooks and con-men, avoid this place if you want a reliable car, they sell rusty faulty cars and will lie about their condition, would even reset check engine light and tell you the car is fine so they can make a few bucks! Cant believe this place is not out of business yet!

They have a wonderful sales department and a great service department also with two locations. Its been my pleasure to be friends with the owner Tony Hubbard for 25 years. You wont find another more fair and honest person in the business.

Bought a vehicle from here they had a really good sale guy that did everything he can for me. The vehicle went back for repairs and they told me a day then it was two. They said they fixed all the stuff that needed to but they only did half. They promised me that it would pass Maine Starr inspection so I brought them a list got it back still had a leaking power steering pump and the rear of vehicle was still making noise over bumps so I took it in my shop because I own a repair shop back of power steering pump had a crack in housing and the air ride was blown out of rear suspension. So I bought a power steering pump and call the sales guy to get rear air fixed he said no problem so I asked when I can bring it. Sales guy said he had to talk to owner. Then sales guy left and no one is willing to fix my vehicle now. I would not recommend anyone to go there and buy anything they do not stand by there word at all...

Poor business ethics. Purchased truck and two weeks later check engine light comes on and catalytic converter is bad. Mechanic showed us piece removed and clearly it was rusted and about to snap. Owner didnt contact us as requested, salesman was basically like not my problem but heres the owners card. Lot of good that does when he doesnt respond. Its shameful to sell a truck to a family that needs repairs after two weeks of having it, we barely drove it! The mechanic who fixed the truck was very kind and generous for giving us a discount the owner Tony should take some lessons on customer service from him!

Wouldn’t ever consider buying something from here. Nor can you trust the service manager Chris he’ll do anything to get the money he thinks he deserves including screwing over good people should have listened to that nice women originally when she told me not to trust him or calefs auto

Absolute worse service. I had contacted them prior on facebook about trading my car for a mini van they had. When I went in, I wasnt allowed to test drive the van, I was told they couldnt give me a price on my car but it would probably be about $200. The guy there was so rude and made me seem as if I was a huge burden asking questions. Im assuming he was so dismissive because I am a younger looking female. Had he actually taken the time to listen he would have found out I had cash in hand for the full asking price. But after being so rude and dismissive I have zero desire to ever do business there.

I was hoping I wouldn’t be another bad review, but the car I purchased had tires so bald they were worn down to the metal wiring, which almost caused me to get into several accidents because they were hydroplaning even at low speeds. It’s my fault for not noticing so this is a warning for you to check the tires. All the ones on the vehicle I bought are different brands and some are the wrong size. When I confronted the person who sold me the car he called me a liar and blocked my number. Be warned when dealing with immoral cuckolds.

We got a 2012 Ford Focus less than a month ago, within 2 weeks it had what the mechanic called “catastrophic failures” and that they erased the codes before we bought it which means the sticker isn’t valid. We went in to talk to them about it and the guy started yelling and swearing at us and told us there’s nothing he can do. He was very rude and were stuck with an unsafe vehicle

Bought my daughters first car there last December. Service was good everyone was very nice but the car turned out to be junk. It only lasted till August of this year. The whole underside was painted bondo and it also have an evap leak. Also left me on the side of the road on 2 separate times when the control arms broke while I was driving it. It was a waste of 5k will not purchase from there again.

I dont recommend this place... They are not honest at all.. I bought a car from them a month ago and the next day after I bought it the check engine light came on and they wont fix it or anything.. got a warranty and that dont cover anything... They wouldnt even trade it because they know they sold me a POS and they didnt want to deal with it

Very disappointed in this establishment. Aware they are crooks. Bought my first car here and within two days the check engine light came on. The warranty covered some but not as much as it should have, and the owner (Tony) couldn’t care less. This car should not have passed an inspection. Once the check engine light came on we got it scanned by a mechanic who gave us a hefty list of what was wrong with it. Do not understand how any decent person could sell cars knowing they are lemons. DO NOT BUY HERE!

In February 2019 I bought a 2005 Dodge Dakota with 62,000 miles on it for $7500, on the way home after purchasing the truck it had a really strange shutter to it, I called tony immediately And he assured me that he would take care of the problem right after the big storm storm we were starting to get, I thought it was a wheel bearing or axle but it turned out to be the transmission, we all agreed it needed a new torque converter and he agreed to change it, I also asked to have the E break in working condition while they had it in the shop since it had a new inspection sticker, so they replaced the torque converter and with in 100 miles it started to shutter again, The E break still did not work, when I contacted him about this he told me he would do one of two things either put in a used transmission or he would pay for the drivetrain warranty at his expense, I talk to the transmission specialist he told me to take the warrantee so I did, shortly after the transmission went into what they call a limp mode, I brought it to the transmission shop and they started to work with the warrantee company, come to find out the coolant line for the transmission that runs through the radiator ruptured and antifreeze was getting in my transmission, the warranty company told me they would cover nothing because it was an external part that caused the transmission to go bad, it cost me $3720 to replace the radiator flush the engine block and rebuild the transmission along with another torque converter and a cyliniod block because the mechanic never noticed there was antifreeze in the transmission fluid when they did it the first time, ( or did they ?) looking back at everything now I think he played me like a fiddle, I have no record there was anything wrong with the truck when I bought it, I have no record that they even put a torque converter in it, 30 days have gone by, I have kept him in the loop through the whole ordeal with no return call, I read all the reviews on the warranty company and that is a scam company to, Now I have a bout $11,000 into a 2005 pick up truck which is working great now but with no help from Tony or the warranty company, very unhappy dissatisfied customer that couldn’t even get the emergency brake working Even though they had just inspected this vehicle, Tony knows as well as I do I bought this truck with this problem there is no denying that fact,

Paul and I bought a truck on October 31st the first day we got it something was wrong with it.in the month and half it it’s been in car shop 5 times and we kept getting so many answers to the questions we asked they didn’t know how to answer it.then when they fixed something happens to it again they took our money so fast then he wanted to put a review and the owner never helped us out we are going through hell with the truck now we might have to pay the bill it’s over 1200 we shouldn’t have to pay it now we can’t have a Christmas because we might have to use our money for the bill don’t buy anything from them

Went to look at a vehicle there. It was extensively rusty underneath. Tried telling me that it was only surface rust. Not very trustworthy..I ended up purchasing an amazing GMC from Hurlbert Toyota in Epping, NH. I highly recommend for people to go there instead if you want high quality and honesty.

Sold me a car with an illegal inspection, didnt honor the warranty when it needed 2,500 dollars worth of work done, was constantly rude and degrading to work with, would swear at me, hang up on me, etc. I would not recommend to anyone.
