Called the weekend prior to making the trip from Bangor, ME to Dover, NH to discuss a 2022 Legacy they had on the lot. They were straight forward about the fact I could place a Non-refundable 500 deposit to ensure the car is here until I decide (within a reasonable amount of time) to buy.Drove down the following Tuesday, and was introduced to Cody. With a large smile on his face, a welcoming and patient tone to his voice we began the car buying process. It was maybe 15 minutes and he had me show him where my car was located, as I planned on trading it in. He then trade keys with me, showed me the new car and let me take my test drive.I returned and told Cody the price I was looking to be around, less than 5 minutes later he returned with a few sheets of paper. I was able to get what I expected for my trade in, in fact more than local dealers offered, and the new vehicle for what the MSRP was. And in this pandemic thats tougher than it sounds.I returned a few days later with a check and title, got the financial side of the process in less than 30 minutes. I was never strong armed, never met a sales manager, or was told no. They said what was possible, gave me my options, and I felt no pressure to do anything.I absolutely recommend working with Cody, but just keep in mind their cars are flying off the lot, so Id you like something absolutely place that deposit!Thank you Cody, I love my car!

Had a very smooth, absolutely no pressure, experience getting my new Crosstrek here. The complementary multi-point inspection information about some potential maintenance items to address down the road were helpful, and yet there was no pressure to get more work done on the spot (they literally said these are things to be aware of, but nothing that needs immediate attention). We pointed out some issues we had with the car after having our local mechanic look it over and Craig brought our concerns to someone in charge (unsure who it was) and we got a 3mo/3k mile warranty that we wouldnt have gotten otherwise. We are very grateful for the warranty but his response was distasteful and his attitude was unnecessary, especially for someone in charge. Sarah Northrop (business manager) was a delight. She helped save my mom money, she was very personable, and she gave us great advice. If youre ever looking for people that will put your needs first, Craig and Sarah are the people to ask for! :)

I recently had an excellent experience purchasing a used Outback at Tri-City. After checking for used ones in Mass., Me., and NH, they had best price on a low miles one. At the dealership, I worked with Jim, a very experienced, knowledgeable and low pressure salesman, who showed me several options. He enabled me to make an informed choice. I quickly purchased the 2018 which perfectly matches my car needs. Jim even went the extra mile to help me return my rental car to a nearby Enterprise office. Recently purchased a used Ford Escape from tri-city. My email requesting a test drive was answered quickly and Pam was able to schedule it at a time that worked for me a few days later. It was a easy process overall and Sheila was great to work with. We did not feel pressured into purchasing and were able to look at a few pricing options before making the decision. When we went to pick up the car (the day after we test drove/purchased) it had been cleaned and had a full tank of gas. Sheila helped my sync my phone to the Bluetooth and went over all the technical details while I waited for the finance manger to be available. Great experience, definitely recommend!

My comment about the loan agent by no means is meant to be disgruntled, or towards the actual agent its the way business is done.100% satisfied. I had an exceptional experience at Tri City Subaru with Cody, sales associate and Matt, finance manager. I felt respected and valued as a person, not just a sale. Communication was excellent, and I will refer anyone who is interested in a Subaru or other used vehicle. It was a truly enjoyable experience!In contrast, at another Subaru dealership in NH the week prior I was stared at or ignored by nearly every man in the dealership, and when I attempted to engage in conversation the situation didn’t improve. I’m fact, while I was on my test drive, the sales associate opened my locked car (one door has to be manually locked and I forgot ) but the alarm still goes off. He said he was looking for the mileage, which I had already told him. Most cars need to be on to see the mileage, so that shows his overall knowledge. I didn’t give permission for my vehicle to be opened while I was gone for 15 minutes.I’m sharing both of these stories to show how women are often treated at very male-dominated dealerships. Cody and the staff at Tri City Subaru gave me the opposite experience than the other dealership, and I now own a 2018 Crosstrek and will let this positive experience balance out the other. This is the treatment I expect from all dealerships, regardless of gender! Thanks, Cody!

Brought in for a noise coming from front end. They fixed brakes, said it was sticking. Picked it up, still have the same noise. Think they would test the fix before returning the car.

I took my vehicle in for warranty/recall work, and it has been constant back and forth with non stop issues since.One of the times i tried to pick up my vehicle I couldn’t even make it out of the lot because the vehicle kept stalling when I hit the brakes (which it didn’t do before)I ended up having to get my short block replaced due to an oil consumption issue and since then I’ve had two check engine lights in less than 3 months, the most recent one due to a camshaft seal that needs to be redone.When calling to speak to someone about the issues I’ve been having I got brushed off and ignored, and wasnt truly listened to, as I told them I did not feel comfortable taking my vehicle back, and that it’s getting repaired at another shop, and that was suggested I bring my vehicle back to Tri city so they could (finally) give it to a different technician which I had asked them to do previously, but at this point, I just want my car fixed and to put these issues behind me, and unfortunately I cannot trust Tri City Subaru for that. Service customers beware.

I met with the salesman Andrew who was wonderful there was no hard sell he was very reasonable and I got the perfect car for me. after having it for a few days there was a large rock that got wedged into my tire and it made a very loud noise so I was very upset and didn’t know what the problem was Jordan The manager took very good care of me he got me a loaner car immediately since I had to use a car for work that evening they were very accommodating and I felt foolish when I found out what the loud noise was about. Then a few months later The DME. Needed some paperwork about the title and Sara helped me over the phone and sent out the needed paperwork immediately I recommend Somersworth Subaru over any other they all work together so nicely and I feel I can trust them I will be going back when I need a Subaru service I love my car it runs great!!
