I pulled up just before closing with a trailer attached to my car and my family concerned about the 8 hours of driving ahead of us. José was walking to his car after his shift was over and stopped to see if we had tire trouble. He put down his backpack, got some equipment from one of the bays, and quickly and professionally diagnosed and resolved the problem. Inside, Tommie was equally helpful and kind. Brian Page, the store manager has put together a great team. I was so appreciative that a Goodyear shop in Boston would give me the same high-quality service that my Goodyear shop in Maryland has for 30 years. Quality work, expertise, kindness, and professionalism - much appreciated.

I don’t know why they have more than 4 stars but everyone who works there is rude. I came for my appointment and the first 3 questions I asked to them, they answered unprofessional and rude. Don’t waste your time on that place!

I cannot say enough good things about the guys working here. I had a vibration in my brand new 2020 truck. Brought it to the dealer and they could not diagnose nor fix the issue. The dealer also damaged my four premium wheels while rebalancing them.Fast forward to my experience here. I walked in and spoke with Brian (store manager) who listened to what I had to say. He was direct in his responses to me. No BS. Its this, this is why it happens, this is how we fix it.Technician Alex took my truck, got it on the lift, investigated all four tires where he found the dealer had improperly balanced them. He fixed all four and during my first test drive away I could immediately tell the problem was resolved.With my time in the waiting room I spoke to Brian for about a half an hour and witnessed how he interacts with all of his customers. I was very impressed and really respect these guys for being stand-up and for the work they do.I cant recommend them enough. They were straight up, no BS, efficient, and patient. Ill be coming back and will also be recommending them to anyone that needs work in the area.

I got new tires here last year. They were cheaper and faster than the other places I had called and did the job as expected and when they promised. This year I had a flat recently and brought it here to get it fixed. They fixed it same day and for no fee since I had bought new tires there less than a year before!Excellent service, good product, convenient location. Thanks!

Had a very unfortunate event happen there. I have gone before, and had great experience with the younger kid who works up front.I was lied to straight to my face, and I even got them to admit it after I caught them in the lie. Very very shady. If they lie at the front counter, what do you think is happening out back. BEWARE. I will be turning this in to corporate immediately.I would advise to not go here, they lost ALL of my business.

Goodyear on Bow Street is a reliable shop with a highly skilled team, which has been providing quality service for years. They charge a reasonable price and won’t do any work they don’t have to. Highly recommended.

Went here based off of reviews. They had more positive reviews than other tire places around and now I understand why. They were so friendly and made sure to explain everything. The process was very easy as well (you make an appointment online) and they followed all COVID procedures. I will certainly go back for any tire needs in the future.

These guys are the best at what they do! They don’t sell you anything you don’t need, which is huugee! A lot of franchises just want to sell you as much as they can and people notice that it is not authentic and they are just another cliche sales man. I will definitely come back for this location. Quality work, products and service is what keeps me coming back to service my car.

I called on a busy Saturday and Mike(owner) was able to squeeze me in same day to set me up with new tires. The ones I had were in poor condition, especially for winter driving. They had me in and out in an hour and a half! Owner is a personable, efficient, army veteran -all my interactions today point towards them being a trusty establishment, which can be tough to find these days in the auto maintenance world.

They did good work and it seems like their mechanics are pretty great. Convenient website & accurate time estimates, plus I found a nationwide coupon code for my tires which was really helpful for such a big purchase.I didn’t appreciate the customer service end - being talked over and talked down to is a pretty demoralizing experience, and every time I asked a question I was met with condescension.My car was taken care of, which is most important, but they could do away with the patronizing attitudes of front end staff.

If you live in Somerville, construction surrounds you and your car. Tuesday, I had to make a 3rd, unplanned visit to Goodyear to have another screw removed from my tire. Each time, these guys got me in, patched up, and out without an appointment and with zero cost to me. Incredible really. Know where Im going when Im ready to replace those tires.

I had purchased tires from Goodyear last year. Thinking that they needed to be replace. I scheduled an appointment to have them replaced. Based on my previous purchase was told that the tires only had 8,000 miles on them and that they originally have 55,000 miles and that they were practically new tires. That honesty saved me from buying tires unnecessarily and saved me money. Which Im grateful for. Since Ive been going to Goodyear Ive always received excellent service.

My car’s battery died in the grocery store parking lot. I called Goodyear and they sent a gentleman who jumped the car to get it started. Then I drove around the block to the Goodyear facility where they installed a new battery in less than half an hour. (They had to get one delivered.). It could’ve been a disaster but they made it very easy. Thank you, Goodyear!

I do not know what the actual service is like from this location because the phone call I made was aweful. The guy who answered my call was very rude. And also did not know what services I needed for a fleet vehicle or how to schedule an appointment for such. I had schedualed a 3 hour block, yet I was told 15 mins late and I lose my appointment all together. Horrible customer service before I even got to see what the car service was like. Wish I could give 0 stars.EDIT- 12/30/2020Yesterday after the phone call I needed to take my vehicle to another company for the Maintenance. My experience here was not good. The clerks I dealt with were pretty rude and the service they provided was awful. I brought my car in to get my wheels balanced because my car had been vibrating on the highway and I researched the issue which led me to get all of my wheels balanced. I brought my car in and the staff was not welcoming and talked to me like a child when I could not answer a question for them. I thought it was strange but whatever. My car was fixed within a day and I picked it up fine. I drove on the highway and nothing had changed so I thought to myself ok maybe I should bring this in to a real mechanic instead. The mechanic gives me a call and says that THREE out of my four wheels are way off balance (front right tire off by an ounce, front left off by half an ounce, back left tire off by 3/4ths of an ounce; by the way if only one tire is off by 1/2 an ounce, it can cause your whole car to shake on the highway) and showed me the numbers on his machine as well when I asked about it. Thankfully, Goodyear gave me a refund, but not until I called and was rudely spoken to over the phone, and even when I came into the shop to get my refund I was also treated poorly by a clerk named John. It was as if they didnt believe me, I did not receive a single apology for any inconvenience which is the least they could have done considering this place literally has one job and that is to specialize in tire services. Only reason they got 2 stars is because I got the refund, but I would NEVER go back here and NEVER recommend this place to a friend.

They estimated my job and finished it on exactly as they said when they said. They even fixed our engine rain shield for free. This isnt the first time theyve fixed some minor thing for free either.

Great service. I ordered my tires online, and they were delivered to this location but in the wrong size. The manager (sorry, I forgot your name!) gave me a better tire at the same price that I paid for the other tires, and took care of handling the cancellation with customer service, which he didnt need to do. Very helpful, straightforward - and on time

Brought a small lawn mower tire here for a repair knowing it was a bit of a long shot. I was just hoping it needed to get re inflated because the seal broke and couldnt do it myself. Guy at the desk was willing to try and fix it and in 10 minutes I was on my way with a good tire. Really appreciate the willingness to help and get it fixed!

The service was good but they took a lot longer then they should have and cost more as a result. All because they didnt have a bearing puller. Which costs less then a hour of labor and would have saved them at least an hour.If they had the right tools to do the job in quickly it would be five stars.

In August of 2018, I bought 4 tires from this store. They installed them in a timely manner and at a competitive price. I also bought the alignment special and the Road Hazard warranty. When I get my tires rotated and balanced, for free, because that service is included with the purchase of the tires, I also get a pre-paid alignment at a previously paid lower rate. They always do this in a timely manner.Most importantly, I got the Road Hazard warranty. I have had two punctures on two tires. Both were repaired for free under the Road Hazard warranty. I recently had a puncture, they repaired it, but a week later, the tire was losing air again. They took my car in the next morning, even though they were very busy, and repaired it. It turns out the seal for TPMS was leaking air. They had it repaired within an hour and a half.I will always go to this shop for tires and repairs.My tips: 1.:Always call first to make an appointment and to see how busy they are. 2.: If you buy a set of tires, also buy the alignment special, and definitely buy the Road Hazard Warranty.

Finished my car repairs ahead of schedule a whole day before it was scheduled. The dealer couldnt even fit me in for five days.

The salesperson was more interested in selling me four new tires that actually helping with my problem which was a nail that I found in the tire. His crew however was more helpful telling me that I actually didnt need for new tires today which I spected I didnt but that dude where the nail was it was probably best not to try to take it out. Again the crew seem to be much more informed and helpful then the manager who is more interested in making a buck then actually providing service

My favorite store in Somerville for oil change & tire solutions for last five years. 3 year wheel alignment program is pretty good price wise. Other way around they push sell you. Dont bother shaking your 25 lbs. head.

I take my car here whenever I need anything done with the wheels - switching winter tires, rotating, and aligning. The work is competent, the location is convenient, and Ive found the service to be very good. The staff here are responsive and give good estimates of how long a given job will take. When Ive had an emergency (flat tire) theyve done their best to fit me in on a holiday weekend.

Ive always had exceptional service each time ive been to this good year. Went last weekend for an oil change and the store manager was very knowledgable and genuine about questions i had regarding issues i had been having on my car. Would come back!

Ordered tires and set up an appointment for a week later. 15 minutes before the appointment I get a call telling me that they dont have my tires, but they wanted to get me comparable ones. Either a classic bait and switch or just bad service to not notify me sooner. Since I was already almost there I came in to see if I could just wait for the tires I ordered and come back another time when they were able to get them. They told me flat out that they would not honor the price I was quoted when the tires came in. I didnt think that was a particularly unreasonable request, but the salesperson was incredibly rude giving excuses why they couldnt do that. When I contacted Goodyear via the website, I was given an email address for Jorge Perez, who never responded.

My seat was completely dirty after the service. The manager became upset because I complained about it and he said he could clean the seat with a DIRTY rag. Would it be hard for a shop to have plastic bags they could put on the seat?

They failed to locate the nail in our tire. When we showed to them, they claimed its not fixable and wanted to pull the nail out so they could sell us their tire. We went to another car shop and got it patched for free.Update: After a year the wheel we fixed in the other car shop is still good.

Goodyear installed an after market front axle on my vehicle. I then experienced problems and the dealer told me it was caused by the after market part not fitting perfectly. This place is fine for an oil change but anything else, just bring it to the dealer!

I went to get a oil change here, a month later my engine blew because it had no oil in my car when I called him to tell me about this everyone is confused I had no idea what was going on also bought tires here when I called to find out about the warranty they offered me they told me I didn’t have a warranty and that they don’t offer warranties for tires. 😵😵😵 Don’t waste your money and time here.

Dishonest, tried to convince me I needed brakes via phone... Took the car to a different place after and my brakes were fine. Complained that I only wanted an alignment check when website promoted free alignment check.

Just to report my recent experience: My wife went for an inspection of her car. The mechanic told her that she had the original timing belt. He said he could tell this by the grease. He said you need to do this now. Thank God she didnt. We went to our long time Goodyear service station, and they looked up the records and told us we still had another 40,000 miles to go and it was not the original timing belt. We could have spent a fortune on something we didnt need yet...

Quick and easy!

I have been going to Goodyear for years and the new manager here Mr. Kugler really helped me out during a morning commute. I saw my tire was losing air on the way into the office and pulled into goodyear almost entirely flat. There was no technician readily available because of appointments and the manager took my tire off sealed the hole and got me going in less then 10 minutes. I made my morning meetings and will be making more trips to this goodyear moving foward! Kudos to the manager for knowing his stuff.

I moved here from the west coast and this place was right by my house. I came into the shop to get my wheels rotated and balanced. When I got there I asked of they could also check the bakes and replace the center caps as they were getting all rusty from the east coast winter.First they told me that I would have to figure out what center caps I need and order them from a parts store because they dont do that kind of thing. Then 4 hours later I get a call telling me that the cars all done. When I got down there must have been some mixup with the phone calls because they are unable to get my lug nuts off and have not done anything to the car. They insisted they lug nuts were stuck and they didnt want to assume the risk.I took back the car and went to another tire shop near by. I actually watched the guy pop the lugs nuts off and I asked him if they were really tight. His answer no more than they should be.This goodyear just wants to sell tires. They are not knowledgeable or if they are they just dont care.

It would have been a great experience if the guy actually came out and helped me instead of messing around with a coworker for 30 mins..

As soon as i get there to get the car the guy that made the appointment for me in the morning told me he couldn’t do it because i didn’t give him the keys .one he didn’t ask me for the keys, the keys were already inside of the car . second he didn’t even call me or tried to get in touch with me either . third if he needed the keys why didn’t he ask me to give him the keys or ask me where i left them ?complete BS experience
