I have grown up as a lover of the Christmas Tree Shop, but this is the first one I’ve been to outside of Cape Cod. It was clean, well-stocked, and well-staffed. Specifically, Denise at register #1 was fantastic. Her positive attitude and helpful product-related suggestions made a gloomy day much brighter! Looking forward to coming back in the next month to stock up on tons of goodies for my new home. Thank you, Denise!!!

It has been quiet awhile since I have been at this Christmas Tree. It has changed!; not in a favorable way unfortunately; the products are not interesting and thoughtful as they used to. Hopefully, it will change back to how it was.

If you have the time, we spent 3 1/2 hours, this is the place to get lost in shopping! Now let us talk about reverse sticker shock, so many items were on sale for 50% off! The staff was quite helpful on 3 different occasions. My wife and I wholeheartedly suggest this be marked on your shopping map. Have fun!

What an awesome gem out here in Somerville! Im use to the southern part of the state for those stores. But thrilled and had an amazing clearance section. Got 3 matching gnomes for 70% off and they were already marked down. Amazing items

This place is empty and probably going out of business. Its a poorly name ocean state job lot, kmart or other store with decent items at reasonable prices.Its sad. The world needs stores like this.

The Christmas 🎄 is having a Clarence sale right now on Christmas stuff. They are getting ready Valentines day and Saint Patricks day. I also find it is a great place to stock up on hand sanitizer as well as hand soap that sanitizes your hands as well as face masks if you know you cant see it with your mask on a great place to get lipstick youll need to look pretty into that mask.

Normally I love the Somerville location. On this Saturday afternoon, I had a less than stellar experience. My mother found coffee mugs on a shelf labeled 50% off. At the register they did not ring up as such. The cashier asked another cashier who was not certain. They then called a third woman over who also didn’t know. I offered to go take a picture and the woman came with me. She proceeded to tell me the sign said select coastal decor, of which the whole shelf was of a coastal theme. They lost me as a customer for a few reasons. One, I should not have had to go find the product myself. One of the women should have offered to check. Two, it was clearly a product that was 50% off but we were refused the discount. It’s not worth my time to argue over such a small amount of money, but the level of customer service was horrible. I understand dealing with rude customers who may abuse someone in retail, however, we were calm and kind. As I told the women when I left, you lost a customer over a few dollars and from a client satisfaction perspective, this shouldn’t have happened.

I absolutely love this store actually I loved the people. I was visiting yesterday from Philadelphia and had just an amazing experience here. The sales associate/checkout I am sorry i can’t remember her name was so nice. I had something I had to take up to customer service where I was greeted by Joanne. I told her I was from Philadelphia and that I would not have an opportunity to come back. She was really awesome and helped me with what I needed. In addition the next day I realized that an item I bought was missing the plug in (my fault since I took it out of the box to make sure it was complete). She did her best to help me and offered to ship it to me. I was wowed twice by my experience with this woman. When I called she remembered me and our conversation yesterday and bent over backwards to help me. I will now start shopping at the Christmas Tree shop regularly close to me because Of my amazing experience with Joanne. Thank you for hiring such awesome people.

LOVE this place because it has just about all you need to decorate your home, your kitchen, your BR and even your kitchen and the prices are just AMAZING!!! If you havent shopped here yet, WHY NOT???

They have decent assortment, but the deals are non existent, same as other big box stores,so not a great bargin,and the food section often has expired dates....One exception,area rugs this can be a real bargain if your an educated shopper and know your materials ..

Used to think this place was just junky stuff but they have some quality products at good prices.

I love this particular shop. Heck, I love all of them. One thing you can count on is being able to by a COLD drink (37 degrees, LOL) when checking out. This is essential and it goes well with any snacks you buy for the road.

Tacky style and not a huge selection considering Xmas is literally the holiday theyre named after. Mobbed with people, checkout line around the store, and no one enforcing social distancing made it feel pretty uncomfortable to be there during the pandemic.

Rude employees, store did not open on time while people stood in the cold. Extremely unprofessional.

Great shopping experience if you like rummaging through a variety of deals. You can especially find decorative items for any occasion or holiday. The selection for general house decor and kitchen supplies is satisfactory as well. For the amount of merchandise, the store is surprisingly neat and organized.

The store is an ideal place for bargain. You can find almost everything for your home. Prices are reasonable if you dont care too much for quality.

I go here for soda that is hard to find. Today i got Brownie Root Beer (4-pack)2-bottles of birch beer, a bag of mini boysenberry shortbread cookies, and a small jar of strawberry fluff. $11.85Im happy. Now if the can get some more sarsaparilla.

On the hottest day of the summer I drove to the Sommerville Christmas Tree Shop. I was looking for Patio furniture cushions. I had two overflowing carts and Liz the Store Manager helped me get to my car and refused a tip. She made my shopping experience over the top easy! Thank you Liz. You set a great example for the staff!

The place is more organized and spaced well. But the line to pay is so long that I gave up trying to buy a couple small things 8^(.

This place is my kryptonite. Its like my version of a Target. Every time I go in for one little thing, I come out with 3 carts worth of house improvement stuff, 2 carts of toys and accessories for my dog, and 5 carts of self care products. Not to mention a cart full of gifts for the husband and close friends. If there was an award for who spends the most of their lives at a Christmas Tree Shop, I would be the lucky winner.

Whats not to love about this store? Bargain hunters will almost always find some useful items here, but also some interesting options as well. A great go to for often used items like votive candles or greeting cards or stationery... You might want to go at a time when its less crowded, though, perhaps a weekday evening.

I bought an electric lawn mower that was on sale! Cashier was very friendly.

A nice discount place to buy things. There is plenty of parking and easily accessible by public transportation. Most of the items are priced lower than market if you but their brand. Quality is not great but still better than the cost. Customer service is fast and good.

Nice store for every occasional season from Christmas to mothers day, Valentines Day etc. Besides you find Nice furniture for patios and for gardening also,groceries are really good to the pockets. Sweets are a fave of mine. Great deals, good place to go👍

I would give it 5 stars but I can never really find anyone who can help me when Im looking for something, they seem like they dont know their store, or they just dont want to be bothered. Other than that I enjoy how clean the store is and how stocked it stays.

Store was a little bit cleaner. Had to find an item, ice cube trays. He took me right to them, very courteous. Enjoyed my two hours in there walking around looking at everything. Pleasant time.

Around Christmas time its better to go in the mornings. Expect a big crowd around noontime.Other than that, its a great store. Some things are a little expensive with low quality.I still love this store. I always feel like a little child when I walk in there. 😊

That place is horrible!! the workers are rude and their manager David is a disorganized, messy person. I went to him for an interview said he was gonna email me if i was gonna get the job or not and he never did so i texted him and never got a reply. he loves wasting people time.

Any Xmas Tree Shop Ive been to, is pretty much the same. Set up is uniform in all stores but endcaps can change. Some good deals, cheap and moderately made stuff. If not disciplined, can spend/buy more stuff then planned.

Throughout the year, you can count on the various holidays to be represented here in the form of decorations and accents for your home. However during the Christmas holidays, this store really shines. Gifts, wrap, decorations, candy, toys and more! Visit any time for a good bargain but come back at the Holidays to be amazed.

I love this place. I bought a really nice ceramic water vessel that I use to water my cherry tomatos and it functions well as a vase. It looks expensive but it was $12.99.

Great customer service on floor but at cashiers station cashier was saying to floor person take them with you to Customer service desk. When I asked if she was speaking of us she said yeah because you need a price check on the rug. I said we have the price on it and thats when the floor person said no not them then she said Im sorry I thought she was talking about you.I feel it still wasnt said the right way like she didnt want to serve us period if we had wanted a price check.Just straight out rude.
