Buyer beware! I bought a $10 bottle of sparkling wine here and then when I looked at my credit card bill it turns out they charged me $18. I’m having no luck with getting them to refund me the overcharge and my credit card company can’t help me because I paid with their chip reader. Bad business all around.

Have been a customer at Contan Liquors for years but recently have noticed they have been going downhill. Staff are very rude, especially one older woman, who has been condescending and disrespectful to my girlfriend and I. If you can, go somewhere else!

Nice place I have had to wait long at all. Although when I do go, there is never any one who could suggest a good white wine. I cant drink red. Maybe it was just the night I went in.

Friendly place for the daily fix. Had decent prices for liquors. I dont recall their beer selection...

Its pretty small, but had a good variety in what I was looking for. The woman behind the counter was awesome!!

Check your bottles before you leave the store. 3 of mine were sealed but only 1/4 - to 1/2 full. No refund. No service. I was polite and they were dismissive. Not going back to these con artisrs, take your business else where.

Came I wearing my Pac Man hat and had a great conversation with the staff on retro games. Theyre always friendly and have a pretty good selection of alcohol.

Stay away from this store. Its beat and rundown for starters. Leftover in a closed shopping plaza. The main reason I suggest staying away is that their entire wine selection is hot.. not stolen but HOT you touch a bottle and its warm like its been under a heater. Every bottle is basically ruined but they dont care, they still sell it. Ive walked through testing every location and theyre ALL hot. Ill settle on a bottle that is the least hot and drinking it just proves theres no good choices in this store. If youre looking for beer, its your run of the mill place. Not a huge selection. but again, some to most are skunked. Some of the staff is nice, The guys in the back are good guys. Theres one women in her 50s or so whos nice, probably the youngest one there, but youll get the occasional bitter old woman in her 70s who really doesnt know what shes doing and takes forever. If youre looking for EXPENSIVE VINEGAR this is your place, otherwise steer clear

Good location, good for late night grabs

What they lack in craft brew quality, they make up for in money.... save a few bucks on the same victory six pack instead of davis square wine and spirits

They have a good selection of craft beers from different original Massachusetts companies that are dedicated to making this ancient beverage. The store is not very big but it does not detract from it, it looks well organized and clean. It has a convenient parking lot with easy access. The building shares it with the super market Stop & Shop.
