Owner is very brisk and does not sugar coat anything. But, when youve been in business longer than your customers have been alive, you can do that. Technicians are competent and honest. Turnaround time is not fast, but its because they are careful in their work. You can get cheaper service elsewhere but the cost is because theyre good and use quality parts. There is a fee for debit, so try to pay cash.

After getting a second opinion of what was suggested by this operation which was over a $3,000 bill I got my vehicle fixed for less than $400. I didnt say anything about what was told to me by this company and my vehicle was fixed the same day without a word. I strongly suggest a second opinion if you go to this place. I wouldnt trust anything they say!!!

These guys are awesome!My wifes tire got a flat down the street from them and she was able to get enough air in it to bring it over to Avenue. They tried to plug the tired and didnt have any luck. Then they put the donut on it for her. When I asked if I could pay them for their time they refused.Dont see service like that anymore! Ill definitely bring my vehicle to them next time I have issues.

Last winter I brought my Mini to Avenue Automotive because one of its warning lights was on and there isnt a Mini dealer nearby and if the light was correct it wouldnt have been safe to drive it to Chicago. They quickly diagnosed it as a problem with the sensing system, not a real problem with the car and didnt even charge me. They are super-efficient and very nice and not at all condescending. They took time to explain the problem and didnt treat me like an idiot. I also highly recommend the homemade tomato sauce! It is really excellent.
