Yummy ice cream with lots of flavor options. We also got the dark chocolate peanut butter cups. The service was great!

Kilwins is such a cute confectionary and ice cream parlor. They have a beautiful case of reasonably priced confectionary goods, like adorable chocolate peanut butter dinosaurs! As far as ice cream goes, it’s relatively more expensive than your average place (~$5-$6 for a cup of ice cream). Though have no fear! You don’t m have to pay ~$5 for to commit to one flavour. With the many delicious options, they’ll let you do half and half scoops!! A real life saver if you’re trying to make the perfect combo. And they are some HUGE scoops. They also offer sample spoons, so you can try before you buy. This would make a cute place to take a date out to. Coupled with lovely staff, Kwlwins can be the cherry on top of anyone’s day.

Amazing ice cream and a great atmosphere! However, they only had 3 people working, all of whom were new employees, and the line was out the door. The employees were great and trying their best, but it seemed like a pretty big oversight on managements part. Also, I dont think its the best idea for an employee to take a smoke break when theres a line of 40 people. Altogether, would recommend going when its less crowded.

Kilwins is my go-to gift stop. Family and friends most always look for their little Kilwins treat when I walk in with a birthday card, hostess gift, mothers day bag, or fathers day package. They may get a piece or a pound, buts always a favorite! (Ok, and I do treat myself to a scoop of butter pecan ice cream :)

I primarily go to Kilwins for their ice-cream in an excellent waffle cone. They make their own, not sure if they make them in this store, but if youre up at the St. Joe location you can see them making the cones - and smell it (so good!)...the point is, you should definitely get a waffle cone. Theyre amazing.And so are the ice-cream flavors. Sometimes they run out of extra popular flavors and if its the first nice day of summer they may run out of most popular flavors, but for the most part there is an excellent selection of classic and slightly more unique flavors.The candy is also really great. Ive tried a few different types and nothing was disappointing.

I think) this place unfortunately went completely downhill. The only good & wise decision the new owners made was keeping the employee named Kevin B. Unfortunately the shop closed due to Corona & hasnt been back open since. A wise choice honestly cuz it wouldve ended up closing anyway Im sure.

Kilwins make their own ice cream along with their own homemade chocolates and fudge if you have a sweet tooth you need to give Kilwins a try. Would recommend

Its been awhile since Ive been here, but I tried the cashew ice cream. It was delicious. The place smells like candy! Could have been a little quicker on service, but they were fine.

Had Coconut Ice cream and it was good. It tasted like coconut ice cream. However, there was no distinction in the flavor. Okay service. Has an outdoor space too! Right by Notre Dame-which is great on a game day!!

HIGHLY recommend for business and individual gift items ! Have used them for many years to create unique custom gifts for large and small accounts. Each time they work with us meeting our deadlines, requests, ideas and budget, and each time our customers and inside employees are blown away !!!!!!! Not only do they exceed our expectations, they assist in our brand messaging and marketing so that our money is very well allocated. Besides work I have also given gift baskets and trays for those people I just dont know what to get. You get a local high end feel without paying what you might with a similsr competitor..Their staff Is always consistent. I have shopped as a business customer and personal at random evenings late and Monday mornings. The management is excellent. No matter who you are, I believe they make you feel like your purchase is special unique and their top priority! From observation I know we are not their highest dollar customer but each order they treat us like it. I have zero investment or gain from this review, this is an excellent place that deserves the recognition and our repeat business ..Im the pickiest of picky !

This place has the most amazing chocolate concoctions! I had a marshmallow chocolate square and the only bad thing about it was it left me so full I was unable to try the ice-cream which looked incredible. I shall be back.

Was in town on business and needed a post dinner milk shake. This was the only place around, seemed like a good spot. Went in and there were ice creams on the board. Nothing about shakes, but I spotted the machine. Ordered a Vanilla Malt. Guy started making it and rang me up... $9.50. I thought he accidentally plugged in two shakes. Then I thought he was kidding. Nope. Ive lived in three major cities, never paid that much for a shake. Oh well, maybe it will be the best milk shake Ive ever had? Nope. Tasted mostly like milk. Still in shock 3 days later.

The ice cream was ok. One of the two employees there was super rude to me and my son. It was our first time there so we took our time to look around and see all the cool desserts and when we asked to sample the ice cream one of the employees told the other one we couldnt be sampling it if we werent going to buy. Rude!!!We got 2 scoops for about $14. Not worth it specifically not with that attitude.

Their ice cream is delicious. If you are in the mood for real ice cream, this is the place. They also have plenty of candy and chocolate. 🙂

My second Kilwins to visit with a group of four. Rating is more for their chocolates then their ice cream. Large selection of unique chocolates and fudges--similar to the original Kilwins in Petoskey MI. Overall, pretty nice place to visit and full of college kids and their parents.

Just walking in and inhaling deeply through your nose is gratifying. Im a big fan of Kilwins, and this location lives up to their quality. Both people working were friendly and courteous.

Delicious. The icecream is very good there and so is the chocolate. My personal favorites are the chocolate covered Oreos and the chocolate covered marshmallows from the chocolate part and the Shoppe and from the ice cream, the salted caramel and strawberry are both really good.

If your looking to fix a sweet tooth this is the place. Every thing hete is Yummy! I recommend the fudge, peanut butter is my favorite.. The turtle fudge is alsome with large chunks of pecans and Carmel.. The Ice cream is so great too.

Great ice cream at a very decent price. Located in Eddy St. Commons, its easy to walk here from Notre Dame and many of the surrounding areas. Friendly staff, large selection and delicious treats makes for a great dessert option at Notre Dame.

I always pass by this store on my home from the office. And when I tag my kids around, I always see myself at the counter paying for their icecreams and sweets. The guy at the counter is nice and friendly.

Got there at 9:15 pm.. says 11 on website annnnd closed... Fix times if you are going to close early.

Service is a bit slow, but for the quality and friendliness its totally worth it!

Good quality chocolate, friendly staff and amazing selection

On April 9th I checked out Google to find an open ice cream store. On there it said that Kilwin was open until 10pm (like every Sunday). We decided to drive there and arrived at 9:30. When we pulled up there were 2 workers mopping the floor with all of the lights on. We tried opening the doors to enter (well before the listed closing time) and both sets of doors were locked. One of the employees working that night said they closed at 9 tonight. It is very frustrating to make an hour long trip to have an employee decide to close the doors earlier than the listed closing time. Needless to say I dont plan on making that trip there again.

On Jan. 9th I went to by ice cream. The ice cream was gummy and the nuts were rubbery . 4 dollars for 1 scoop . I tried to give it to the dog He could not eat it either.

I like this place. While the prices are a little high, they have the only market for ice cream in this area. Ive been here quite a few times in the summer months and have always been overwhelmed on which flavor to try next!

Very disappointed. The employees had no clue who was doing what. They were extremely slow! The waffle cones were uneven and extremely difficult to eat the icecream.

Almost none of the prices on the online menu are the same as the in store menu, and when I asked about the menu differences, the lady helping me started getting mad and impatient, even though there was nobody else in the store.
