I ran into Pam at a gas station this Evening after work around 1130 pm. She works at Insomnia Cookies, I read her shirt and asked her if she works there she said yep, she said, I bake the cookies. I just so happen to mention my one and only time there and unfortunately my first experience wasnt the greatest, but she insisted on me coming by to pick up some cookies. Truly living up to their name, prepare to stay up all night waiting and wondering if your cookies will ever get there. Got a text from them saying order will be delivered in 20-30 min, called 45 minutes later to find out they were still at the store with no idea when I would get them. If you really have to have them, order at noon and maybe youll have it by a bedtime snack.

Great cookies, but it feels creepy when you pull up to the staff lurking outside creepily looking back at you when you arrive. Breaks should be taken out back so you dont feel like you are disturbing their extra activities. I hate to say that, but it made me feel awkward having them see me and scurry inside.

I’ve tried this place about a year ago with my friend and remember how good there cookies and ice cream was and I’m pretty sure we paid with cash back then. I go back, told the employee what I wanted as I had my cash ready in hand, then proceeded to say they don’t accept cash. What?! This is one of the only places I know that doesn’t accept cash for payment. Really didn’t make sense to me.

Decent cookies, the ones I could manage to order at least. Sub par service. When I walked in,the guy at register greeted us with a 45 min wait warning. After getting to the register to actually order, I was told the deluxe cookies were not available-all deluxe cookie options, a third of their cookies menu! Mind you, they didnt close for at least 4 more hours. When I went to pull out my wallet cash, the cashier huffs and barks at me, card only! I said yes ok, but by then I was pretty irritated. Finished my order and the guy just walks away to the back with my receipt...didnt even say ok...bye...or give any instruction. You could tell he just really hated his job or he was on something. 1st time there....debating on returning.

I wanted curbside pick up. Called 4 times, no one answered. Staff wandering around aimlessly inside doing nothing the whole time. Finally went in for my order only to wait for a half hour until someone finally helped me. Then I got handed a box of ice cold cookies, except for my brother’s cookie which was just dough. He had to cook it before eating it. I wouldn’t be mad if this didn’t happen LITERALLY EVERY TIME. I’ve waited up to 3 hours for a delivery, now I wait almost 45 minutes in total for a pick up. It seems there is no viable option for acquiring cookies at this location. The customer service at this place is beyond atrocious. Maybe I’ll go back if they replace the staff with semi-motivated and competent individuals.

I was told that I had to receive the contact-less delivery in person, face-to-face, after being told I missed a delivery because I didnt answer the door (I was home all day, nobody knocked/called). I begrudgingly agreed and waited for them to come back. After never being delivered I was told, again, that the delivery could not be completed. The reason for non-delivery changed several times after speaking with over 6 customer service representatives and being hung up on twice; I was the one that was finally blamed for the non-delivery for not answering the door (Again, home all day, address/phone# confirmed, no record of any attempts on my security camera). This is a very summarized version of what became a half-day ordeal. Im pretty laid back (I mean come on, this is to get cookies delivered to my door, I refuse to get super upset about any of this), took everybody I spoke with for their word, but was met with hostility and rudeness in return.Speculation: this is a systematic issue with Insomnia as I had a similar experience in another city when my order was delivered 2 blocks away, and I was told I had to walk over and retrieve them if I wanted my order.There is a main corporate number that you have to go through to handle any issues with your local franchise where it seems they will say anything just to get you off the phone regardless of truth. If I were a franchisee, I would be pretty upset that I invested so much money in this kind of system/customer service.People will complain the cookies arent worth the price; alone they probably arent (subjective), but youre paying for the fun experience of cookies to your door. When the experience is consistently this awful, it ruins the whole point of the entire business.Customer lost...

First time at this Business and was told it would be Twenty Minutes for cookies . Waited well over a half hour for cookies only to get back and have the cookies be rock hard. If I just waited that long for fresh cookies why are mine rock hard and not soft and Gooey? I honestly dont see myself coming back to this. Place anytime soon . Im sure it could have been a off day . Maybe one day ill give it another chance.

We arrived at 7:35 as soon as we walked in we were told there would be a 20 minute delay ..so we waited a few more minutes in line to order ~ once our order was placed we were told they do not accept cash..oook ~ paid for the order with a cc and went out to the car to wait for the 20 minute delay .. at 8:10 I went in to get my order ~ nope sorry not done yet ..they told me it would be another ten minutes..finally at 8:25 we finally got our order only to get home and have one order ..cookies hard as a rock and the other order a hot mess...barely any ice cream in each of the sandwiches. 28.00 later and we are never going there again.

I visited Insomnia Cookies today for the first time and my experience was good for the most part. The woman working was very nice and accommodating; you could tell she enjoyed her job. However, she was literally the only employee working and because of that none of the deluxe cookies were readily available and she had to be in many different places at once. Hopefully the next time we visit IC they will be properly staffed so that my family can enjoy some of the other delicious looking cookies and desserts!

A little expensive but so delicious

Ive ordered delivery from here numerous times - always trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. However, the service is awful, the staff dont seem to care about their job, delivery will say 20 min ETA when ordering and then will take 2-3 hours. Cookies that are way overpriced dont arrive fresh and warm. The last order we placed, the driver didnt bring the icecream, however he ran so fast after dropping it off that we couldnt even get his attention. They do not care and always have an excuse. Would be a lot better if their customer service was better, especially for the price.

Unfortunately it came down to this. I did not think I would have to do this. In the spam of a month I have visited this place approximately 3 times. Everyone of those times they told me they were down and could not serve me cookies. I’ve tried so many times to get a hold these but they make it nearly impossible for them to receive my business. If you are going to be closed once a week atleast put it on google. I do not live close. Waste of gas.

If I could give it less than one star I would. Staff Sam is extremely rude and discriminates against certain customers. My wife and I dropped $140.00 on cookies to be talked to like trash and then waited in the parking lot for 30 minutes to get our order that was ready 15 minutes prior to our arrival.

Honestly cookies are OVER-RATED! $2-$3.25 for one cookie! This is your everyday grocery baker cookies with the vegan or gluten free options thrown! If you dont have access to a stove (here for business) Go here... if you do just go to the grocery store! The cashier was really nice though so I didnt knock the score.

Love love love these cookies. White chocolate macadamia nut are my favorite followed by Snicker doodle and mint chocolate chip. A must have if your visiting teaching area.

The cookies were fine, but the service was abysmal. Last Sunday, 8.20.20, we (myself, BF, dad, and sister from out of town) went in for a treat after shopping at the ND bookstore. It was obvious from the word go that the girl working did not want to be there and had better things to do. She refused to speak up so we could hear her through her mask and when asked how big the scoops of ice cream were as we were trying to decide between one or two scoops, she replied, Oh, theyre pretty small since personally I dont make them very big because its hard to scoop. What?? It was just a disaster from the minute we walked in.

I first found insomnia cookies online. They looked delicious and I frequently saw deals each week and eventually my sweet tooth got the best of me. Today I decided to bite the bullet and pick up a 12 pack of assorted cookies from my local South Bend store. The gal at the front counter was friendly and there wasnt a line. To my dismay these cookies are rather subpar. Dont get me wrong they were good cookies but not worth the $20.33 I paid. You would have warmer, just as big, and much cheaper cookies by picking up a 12 pack of toll house cookies from your local supermarket. I think warm delicious cookies being delivered is a fantastic idea but this place falls short. There is nothing that sets them apart from any other place.

Best cookies out there. We get a box of these fresh for get togethers and celebrations. Always a hit! They have a variety of cookie styles, ice cream, milk, and topping additions. Their cookies are warm, gooey, and not too overly sugared. So, just right. Although we are outside delivery range, we still occasionally get the ice cream and icing cookie sandwiches. They even have Blue Moon flavored ice cream here as a flavor to pair.Fun story - after our baby boy was born, that evening at the hospital, my husband brought me Insomnia cookies to celebrate while we had our 2 day stay!

As a Former employee of this establishment, I can tell you in my own opinion this place is a joke! I just recently quit from here because of a better job opportunity. I was not able to make it back into town from California until monday 08/17/2020. As a result of that Im being charged for $150.00 USD to change the lock because I couldnt turn it in right away because I was out of town. Management is non existent and non reliable. For the past month the sink did not work and we could not properly wash the dishes.

Spotted this place on our way home from the theater and the white chocolate lemon cookie advertises caught my eye so hubby and I pulled in. the staff was very friendly and helpful explaining options as wed never been there before, we ended up with a 6 pack variety and 1 of each of the ultimate cookies (or whatever they are called). cookies were delicious, hubby didnt even make it to the van before half his peanut butter cup cookie was gone, we enjoyed trying all the different one and all were delicious, especially the lemon! definitely hope to make it back next time were out that way.

When you call it goes to a call center. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Tried to call and change the pickup time of my order. After being on hold for 15mins i hung up. I then went to the store hoping they might be ready. Unfortunately they were not ready yet. They started them but it would be 30 mins to get them ready. I asked if they could deliver the 100 cookies to our event as the venue asked us to be there earlier than originally planned. By the time i would have cleared this with customer service the cookies would be ready. The store had no power and pushed me to customer service and i felt less than satisfied with my interaction and the level of willingness to help. Next time i will skip the order from them.

My grandson told me about this place on Tuesday night 4/2/19 late when we got out of the Willie Nelson concert in Shipshawa. We both wanted a late night snack, so we tried it and it was awesome. Didnt try any ice cream but the cookies was out of this world. You have to try them.I dont know what the delivery cost is but, here in the near future I am going to have to have back surgery for the second time since Nov. 2018. So while I am in the hospital I think I will place an order. Keep up the great work. Oh by the way the staff that was working that night were very nice.Cant wait till I can go back again.

Really good cookies and the lady who delivered them was super nice. My only complaint was that it took 1 hour to deliver compared to the 30-45 mins they say on the website. If you order, just expect it to take a little longer.
