Took my coins in today and was treated so kindly. Received a very fair offer for what I brought in and he was so nice to answer a few questions. Will be back to scoop up some jewelry because their prices are really impressive.

I showed up at Christos Coins and Jewelry with a van full of coins that my father-in-law had collected over the years. I had called ahead so Basil was expecting me, but Im not sure he expected so much to look at. He was very friendly and was not at all shocked at how much I had brought. I was there about three hours, but it did not seem like three hours. He, his wife, his friend Nappy and I visited and shared stories. It was not like a business transaction. It was more like meeting friends. I knew nothing about the coins I had and Basil took the time to explain a lot to me about what to keep, what to auction, etc. I thought he was very fair on prices. In fact, I plan to take some more of my own items up there to see what he might be interested in as I downsize more of my possessions. Thanks Basil and crew for a fun morning

I was so impressed by their knowledge and professionalism, that I bought her a beautiful diamond ring, right there in the store. So heres the best part. I took it and had it appraised, and it was worth almost twice what I paid!Second, I want to tell any one reading this that Jonathan Ditson is full of bull. I love this place because it doesnt have that tacky pawn shop atmosphere. They sell fine vintage jewelry and collectables, as well as buying and selling gold and silver. Basil, the owner of the shop has an eye for nice jewelry and a compassionate soul.
