Always had great service, I was on a time crunch and wanted to trade some gear. The team was very accommodating, had my tripods and filters appraised in less than an hour, and I was out the door with a fair price and some new goodies. The service here is excellent. I dealt with the same employee both times I visited, and both times he was incredibly helpful, polite, and informative. I will say that I wish that they carried more analogue film products, but I would highly recommend this store if youre looking to purchase a digital camera or equipment like camera bags, straps, photo storage books/albums, lenses, filters, etc.

The digital photo printing service is wonderfully convenient and high-quality. The system they use allows you to upload photos right from your phone, which is where most of my photos live, and get them turned into prints. Its a treat to have physical copies of favorite photos.

By far one of the friendliest shops Ive ever stepped foot into! I picked up a new camera bag and a tripod which was at a great price but the best part was they allowed me to bring my canon camera and try the bag. Everyone who uses pro body dslr cameras know its next to impossible to find a bag that fits right and holds your daily gear. They let me try it and I walked out with it for a great price. Win-win!!!

All I can say is wow. The customer service provided by Green mountain is incredible, I received fast responses to emailed questions about stock and the status of my order. Coming from a primarily Amazon customer its a bit of shock at how much more intuitive and personal shopping at a smaller store like GM camera is. I am blown away by their selection and ability to get me hard to find items! I am telling all of my friends and family to shop here for their photography needs and it has become my main retailer for my increasing demand for the latest and greatest photography gear!

I had one of the new Canon R5 camera bodies on order from one of the big online dealers. This model was on back order everywhere with a month long backlog of orders at most places. While doing a really wide search, I found that Green Mountain had one in stock. I called to verify that, they pulled if from the shelf, I placed my order online and they shipped it that day. It arrived by 2 day air when I expected it to. I was really hoping to have this for a job on the following Saturday and they made that happen. It couldnt have been much better.

I recently purchased a new digital camera from this store. After adding lenses and accessories, it was an unusually expensive purchase. So I spent a lot of time asking questions and the gentleman looking after me was really helpful. The staff here was so helpful. I bought my new Nikon on sale from this store on Black Friday (I know I’m posting this a bit late), but they were so great about holding a camera for me, appraising my camera, and giving me extra lens caps when I realized Nikon doesn’t give you caps for both sides of the lens anymore. So much better than a Best Buy or Walmart!

This is one of the few camera shops in town and they seem to be offering fewer and fewer services. I used to be able to get work professionally scanned here but they no longer offer that service. They need to update their website to reflect what services they do and dont provide. Customer service here use to be good, now it is poor.

Do not go there for film. I have sent film in and had missing rolls twice now in 5 rounds. they are expensive and the new place downtown is much cheaper. :(

Best camera store in town. Knowledgeable staff. Great selection of both analog and digital cameras, collector cameras and photo supplies. They can order what you are looking for and offer great customer service. Fun to window shop and staff is excellent!

I totally screwed up ordering a replacement part for a tripod via Amazon and knew that I needed to talk to an IRL human to get it right. Green Mtn Camera staff was fantastic answering my questions, they had quick and friendly service, and I was able to walk in and out with my new part the same day (faster than Amazon Prime and way better!). Then, when I lost my receipt (a work purchase), they were able to recreate it quickly, saving the day. I am super pleased with my whole experience (and the part!).

Im a regular and a club member but GMC really went over and above this week. I had deleted an image I had just used for X-Mas cards by mistake. Ali, the print manager, was able to find it on their machine and completed a re-order without even breaking a sweat. Thanks GMC!

Info about GERMAN passport photos.This review in NO WAY reflects the service of the staff, they were excellent.However, the store does gouge you on prices of international passport photos – charging $25, or $10 more, than their US passport photos. They can do this because theyre the only shop in the area who offers this service.I got some photos from them for my German passport renewal because I knew I wouldnt have time to have it done in Boston by the lady who did my last passport photos for $10.IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE GERMAN CONSULATE IN BOSTON:I found out yesterday that they now have a photo booth on-site to get passport photos for $5. This is by far the best option, and saves you a trip to GMC who charges a premium because they know they can. This review is in hopes of informing other potential customers who need German passport photos to just get them done at the consulate.

Recently left a not so good review of this store.I usually send my rolls of film to labs in NYC or California but decided to try a new place. I assumed the lab could push process film and explained when I dropped it off thats what I wanted. The employee didnt really know what I was talking about and took the rolls anyway. They dont process film at any other speed than box speed and so two of the rolls were underexposed.I wasnt too happy, but a rep from the store called and took off the cost of both of the rolls and replaced the rolls of film that had been mistakenly developed. Really nice, and I appreciate it.- Good store for a quick develop, but they do not push or pull film so if thats what you want Id send it to another lab.

Long time customer, checked the website for hours of operation. Drove 60 miles - they were closed for meetings. Come on - Sunday - all day meetings etc.?? Wonder why my business will be going else where? Brick and mortar stores need to be aware that most of their shoppers most likely shop on the weekend because they work M-F. Closing on a weekend day is not a good business plan. Since they moved from Waterbury they have not impressed me. I have spent a lot of money there, but no more.

Usually staff is great and products are fine, but for the second time only 3 out of 28 of my exposures developed fully and they still charged me

One of staff called and said to me do you use email I said yes and the staff response was it’s easier for them to send email other then calling customer ? So I guess I am supposed to have email on my phone or don’t order from them again and she was really rude . When I was ordering there was optional for those things that’s why I asked them to call when it’s done or they should change the options on there system
