Even though short staffed..I was attended to and carefully walked through my eyeglass wear selection and fitting. ps, I dont do 5 stars ever...always room for improvement; continued customer service, and up to date selection availability will determine the next customers satisfaction.
Had a great time with the excellent staff at University Mall LensCrafters!!!! I was able to order a pair of customized Ray-Ban sunglasses through the in store app called “Smart Shopper”. I chose the frame color, lens color, and even had the frame and customized case engraved with my name and initials!!! I had a lot of fun working with Celia and Tracy exploring all the different options. These people make ordering glasses fun!!!!!
I had purchased my glasses online which meant I wasnt able to get them resized. I was walking past Lens Crafters and thought maybe they could help me.The 2 employees that were there greeted me right away and asked how they could assist me.I explained how I ordered my glasses online and I needed them adjusted. Even thought Im not customers with them they were still happy to help me. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly and adjusted my glassed perfectly.Compared to all the other stores I went into they were the most friendly and actually greeted me.
Lens Crafters in South Burlington has been instrumental in my recovery from a botched retina detachment surgery with Dr. Raut at UVM Ophthalmology. The entire team, Aline, Jamie, and Tracey and Erics have demonstrated top notch expertise in all matters relating to the eye and its effect on the whole body and the emotions. I am so grateful to have found such a compassionate and professional group of eye care providers to complement the excellent ophthalmology trauma recovery care I am receiving under Dr. Jordan at Dartmouth. I have visited more than once and also spoken with multiple staff members on the phone. Each time my experience as a customer was well above my expectations. Friendly, supportive and always helpful. I wish more establishments understood the customer service this store offers!
The consultation was perfect. However, there was a wait for someone to become available to see me. Im not the kind of person who agonizes of choosing a frame, so it was a little boring.
I felt the staff were very informative, attentive, and helpful. You can try frames on and they will kindly instruct you to place any touched ones off to the side for cleaning. They did a super good job monitoring this considering how some people like to walk in and start touching things without asking. One member (I think his name was Eric) was super pleasant and knowledgeable about every aspect of lenses...and their crafting. Recommended for anyone looking for some new specs.

After going to LensCrafters since I was very young and spending far more money than I should have on designer glasses and contacts on top of eye exams I will be switching eye doctors. The staff and environment felt off putting and not entirely friendly while just trying to make an eye exam appointment and browse the very same designer glasses ive purchased for years. Sad since I had very fond memories going there with my mom since I was very young. I’d recommend going elsewhere that appreciates you, your time and money.
It appeared that many of the glasses looked almost identical, probably due to competing brands just rolling out what is popular. It would have been nice to see a little more variation here. The staff is tremendous, with a great sense of urgency, and they made a great appearance as well. No one was left standing around waiting to be helped during my two visits here.

I had a great visit. With my insurance changing, I needed to find a new spot for glasses and services. I stopped in to see about a pair of glasses, I was greeted and helped very quickly. I found a pair I liked, and was helped with fitting for purchasing. Also, best best thing, ready same day!! Best visit Ive had in a long time.

Great experience! All the bad reviews here are old, so take them with a grain of salt. Great customer service and I love my Oakley sunglasses! I bought some cheap sunglasses at Disneyland and wore them three times. They gave me headaches and ruined my reading eyesight just a little. I never needed prescription glasses until then. I don’t wear cheap sunglasses anymore...ever! Thanks, LensCrafters, for checking my insurance and price options! I’m very happy with my purchase!

I have never purchased glasses from this place, so my opinion may not be valid if youre in the market for them. However, I broke a bridge piece on my pair of glasses and despite not being a prior customer, I walked in and within 15 minutes walked out with them completely repaired and cleaned for free, with impeccable service. Though Im happy with my optometrist, so Im unlikely to switch anytime soon, I am glad theyre here in a pinch. The late hours theyre open help a lot too, as it was actually possible to pop in after work. Full marks for my experience, no question.

I can not get them to call me back to make an appointment. I have left three messages in the past week as no one answers the phone and that is what the recording states to do. Oh well, there are plenty more optometrists in the area.
I recently broke my only pair of glasses and I needed a new prescription fast! GMV got me in the next day for an exam and I had a great experience there. The staff was friendly and helpful and the doctor took time to show and explain to me more about a particular condition I have. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality and convenient eye care!
When we arrived to the store no one greeted us right away.But they were welcoming & helpful to others who are coming after us. I had to pick the one who help us coz we know hil already. the other 2 are not that helpful. on one came to us to help pick the frames, but they were helpful to other costumers.
They ordered me a pair of glasses that I picked out off the rack. When they came in they were not what I wanted (colors were wrong). They took the ones off the shelf so that I would get what I wanted. Great customer service.
The service and expertise here is unmatched. With new prescription in hand, I was greeted immediately at the door, encouraged to browse frames, and every option was explained in detail. I was given discounts I didnt even know were available. My glasses and sunglasses were made within a few days, and fitted with the latest technology.The best part about this experience was the staff. Alexis was amazing with her technical skill as well as keeping a full house of customers attended. She is very professional, shows her wide range of expertise easily, and covers every option. Other staff members are very friendly and accommodating, as well.

Went there yesterday to get my glasses. I had my four hear old daughter with me. I was approached right away by a young woman with a red shirt (wish I could remember her name). She apologized right away that they were so busy but offered me a tray to put my choices of frame in. The staff were extremely patient assisting me while my daughter (who needed a nap) was... well being a kid. I was stuck between two Coach frames and Deb (the sales person) was very kind and honest. She even got my daughter her own chair to sit in. Joya also helped as well and gave my daughter a tissue for her nose. I loved how thoughtful they were. Then Deb said they would have my glasses ready in 1 hour. In the end I came back and saw the optometrist and I was pleased with the honesty and clarity. Im very pleased with my experience. Though they were busy, they were costantly communicating and made me feel like their first priority. I will return again. Thanks to all the staff!
The doctor and receptionist at LensCrafters were professional, kind, courteous and happy to answer any and all questions. They even took my insurance. The doctor was great. Cant remember his name. Would definitely highly recommend, they are my favorite eye care provider.😄
I went in intending to pay for my glasses repair and was shocked that they said they did the repairs at no cost. I donated to a fund that helped people who need glasses instead. Everyone was very friendly and seemed overall in a good mood. Next time I need glasses instead shopping at lenscrafters because of their good service!
Celia was amazing! The model of customer service. I just stopped in to see if she could fix my glasses (screw fell out) and she went above and beyond the call of duty for service they dont even charge for. All during a busy day when it would have been so easy to shuffle me out the door. THANKS SO MUCH!
I strongly recommend this store. They are professional and really care about your feeling. They are not that kind of salesmen only push you to pay the money. At the first time I picked one frame that I wanted, but they said that one may have some problem with my prescription. I feel so good they didnt cheated me!
I bought some glasses a while back with a year warranty on them. I had a fan fall on me which bent the glasses. I brought them back into the University Mall store in South Burlington, VT where I had originally purchased them. A nice woman adjusted them for me, however they are still not right. Per my eye doctors orders I pull them down my nose to read . When I pull them down its very obvious that they are not straight. They sit to the left. I just went up to the store and spoke to Eric Williams. He basically kept giving me a run around I can only assume in an effort to avoid fixing or replacing them. He told me that every time I moved them I changed the location. He would have had to have been blind to not see that they consistently sit wrong, to my left. I had to double check after speaking with him, he seemed so convinced nothing was wrong. Initially he even told me not to move them down my nose. Ill be making a formal complaint to the company.EDIT: I followed the link, I got a response, but the response included a link that did not work. I responded to the e-mail and got no response. Still one star. I believe they dont want to honor the insurance policy I purchased from them.EDIT: Ive got a response now. Ive shopped at Lens Crafters for many years. Ive always had very positive experiences and I appreciate the prices. After this experience I dont think Ill ever go back. Id rater pay a bit more.
I received incredible customer service from Alan when I called today to obtain some information from when I was a patient in 2013 (when the location was a Pearle Vision). Alan went above and beyond by leaving the store and hunting down my written records in a storage area. Although my information was too out of date for him to help me, he called me back and explained the situation, which I really appreciate.

I would give them 5 Star but there customer service is terrible over 2 weeks and counting I emailed them about a problem I had at this lanscrafters and I have not received a message back from them and I have emailed them multiple times and nothing. That is why I am give 1 stars because there is no negative stars. I dont like writing bad reviews but customer service need improvement. They are professionals and they are great but trying to get answer from a email that I have sent multiple times. The review may change but I guess wait and see.
I do not recommend! I went to this location to inquire about an eye exam and was basically thrown out. Some guy with earrings and glasses talked to me so fast that I didn’t get all of the information from him the first time. He handed me a card and when I asked to clarify the times the doctor is in the store he seemed annoyed and started talking to me like I was stupid, while his coworker was almost giggling.I took my business to Advance Vision Care in downtown Burlington, where I was treated like my business mattered. They put me on a cancellation list so I could get my appointment in sooner if someone else canceled during my suggested free times. Very friendly and patient staff with a great selection of frames.

This place is a scam and rip off. They want to charge you $300+ for what Wal-Mart Or Costco or literally any other local place will do for under 100. Terrible customer service was the icing on the cake.
