Purchased large custom picture windows (x4) from Pella of South Burlington through their rep Evan Potter. Needless to say he was thoroughly knowledgeable and intuitive. He helped me select the perfect windows for my application including low profile aluminum frames and upgraded glazing. The product is amazing to say the least. HIGH QUALITY and very well insulated...This of course matters with so much square footage of glass exposed to the outside of the structure. I cannot say enough about Evan and this company. This is how experience shines bright in a not always so perfect business world. THANK YOU!

The sales and management team at Pella Windows & Doors of South Burlington are proffesional and knowledgeable. You would be doing yourself a disservice to not give them a chance. We at Authentic Log Homes of Vermont have been working with Pella for 10+ years and their services they provide are second to none, not to mention the quality of their products.

Every thing about them was professional from the minute we asked about getting quotes through the ordering process. They provided us with a few options and each time they were within a few days from our requests. Our contractor also had many questions and these were answers very quickly, with documentation so they could reference each door and window. Our sales rep Jay did an amazing job communicating all along the way.

I have been building homes for the better part of 30 years. Ive been using Pella windows for a good portion of that. Im writing this review not only as an endorsement of Pella windows, but also a professional review of Evan Potter, the salesman I deal with. Over the years, I have consistently been very happy with Pella windows. Great product delivered in a timely manner. Recently I have been dealing with Evan Potter. Evan seems to be new to Pella, but he comes with real building world experience. He is very capable of solving new problems and is willing to think outside the box. On top of his experience as a builder, he is openly willing to come to the job site to address issues of an install or perhaps the screen does not fit perfectly. His customer service is something to be proud of. Ive very much enjoyed working with him and will continue to do so.

Calvin was easy to work with in defining the specs. and coordinating the order. We have replaced 4 windows and 1 french door. The windows and doors are of very good quality, we used our own contractor for the installation. We would definitely consider using Pella products again.

The sales service for our new Pella door was fine. Quick and easy. We set up an installation date for June 28th. Then the installation debacle began.The installer—Brian, owner of Sound Renovations out of Johnson VT—did not have the “extension package” with the trim for the door with him. He said he would send one of his carpenters back to finish the job. I have heard several stories about this over the last weeks. Either Brian forgot the trim package or Pella had not sent it, depending on who is talking. The result is that I have been told that the job cannot be completed until the end of July. The installation date was June 28th.I have sent numerous emails to our sales representative, Joe Bonini, at the Greenfield Pella office. Joe has spoken with Trevor, the installation manager.They can do nothing. Apparently there are no installers available to finish the job in Vermont or neighboring states.There are other problems with the door. The door is not adjusted properly so it closes unevenly, the door is not in alignment with the jam, the latching mechanism catches on something else I improperly so it makes a ripping noise when we open or close it, the handle is loose and wobbly. None of this gives me any confidence.Pella has designated technicians to make adjustments after the installations are completed. Apparently none of them are available either. Who knows if any of the door’s problems will worsen with wear because of faulty installation.The result, because Pella will not send anyone to do a job that should take no more than an hour, we are left with a poorly installed door and insulation and shims protruding from our dinning room wall for a month, or more. Until someone at Pella decides to do something about it.

I purchased a triple pane vinyl slider from Jason and he was helpful and professional throughout the process. The door also looks great, I would recommend Pella and Jason in the future for sure.

I worked with Calvin Caswell to determine the health of some old existing Pella windows and to see what the best approach was for replacement. He was knowledgeable, took time to show me how to inspect my current windows, and worked with me to determine the size and options I needed for the new windows in my order. The delivery and cost estimates were accurate and on time. I was very happen that my windows were estimated to be delivered in 4 weeks from the time of my order, especially with everything I was hearing about construction costs and supply chain delays due to the Pandemic impact. The windows were exactly on time for my preferred delivery date. Calvin was knowledgeable, professional, on time, and followed up after delivery to make sure everything was correct and to see if I needed anything. I would definitely recommend Pella and Calvin Caswell for future window needs.

Pella provides my construction project with exactly the windows and doors that you cant get otherwise. Plus the sales rep (Jason Wilkinson) knows his stuff which makes my life as a contractor a little easier.

Awful experience. I ordered 7 large windows to be replaced and a storm door for the back. All the windows were supposed to be finished including trim work/finish. They werent finished and we were given a can of stain so we could do it ourselves..... We werent here when they came (big mistake!). They installed the ordered back storm door on the front, threw away our front storm door. They had photos of the back door so I thought it was full proof. Moreover, the new front storm door doesnt open more than 2 feet. It took 4 months, multiple calls, calls to the owner directly to get them back to install the back storm door. The owner said he would give us a new door at no charge....sure they gave us a different door that I had not ordered. When the installer was done there was a 1 1/2 gap between the door and the frame. My husband eventually fixed it as we didnt want to deal with them anymore. I really would not recommend them to anyone.

As with past experience. Jason had a quick turn around with the estimate so I could get the order started quickly.

Jason was very thorough and patient. His knowledge of Pella products helped immensely in choosing the right window and door package.

Its a rare day that you experience a repair service that is EXCELLENT beginning to end. We needed to replace two casement window screens (the Vivid View line is AMAZING, highly recommend paying a little extra for these almost-invisible screens). Our (northwest) Vermont rep was professional, responsive, diligent in making sure all info was accurate. (AND he has a great sense of humor.) The price was right, the order was received exactly when and where it was promised. I would give this Pella dealer 10 stars if this were any option!

Placed and order for windows & doors for our home. Jay was quick, proficient, and very knowledgeable about Pella Products. We had to completely change our doors and increase the size of our windows and Jay was able to save us money this way so we didn’t need to order custom windows. We also placed windows in a wall where there weren’t any. Jay had a great vision and helped us make it a reality.Jay was very responsive and courteous. He’s also very easy on the eyes and has a contagious laugh.

We worked with Pella to replace our windows on back side of our house in 2019. After seeing the difference between having old and new windows, we decided in 2020 to have the rest of the windows on the other three sides of the house replaced. We are so pleased with the new windows. Our house holds heat better during cold winter nights. The difference is noticeable. We are so happy working with Pella and the the Pella team. Everyone from the Pella rep who came and measured the windows, to the call center, to the end results of beautiful windows.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jason, who provided us informative and quick info as we needed it. He was able to fit us into his busy schedule and make our project a priority given the tight time-table.

My experience with Pella was great from the beginning. The online consultation was easy and I was able to get all my questions answered. I got a quote very quickly and then someone came to measure soon after. The installers were professional and cleaned up after the job. My new door looks great!

I currently have Pella windows. I called the local Pella window company in S. Burlington, Vt. and they referred me directly the to Pella. I then called Pella who wanted to know if the windows had to be replaced or could be repaired. If so, I think they said that I need to go back to the Pella dealer. Given that I dont know the answer to this.., they have me kind of stymied. Not sure where to turn,....perhaps Marvin Windows.....

Pellas Rep, Cal, was superb. We had a stellar consultation and feel excited to work with Pella for our home construction.

Buyer beware! Needed replacement screens for my windows, they tried to charge $300 for a new window screen. Lowes offers the same one for 50.They also offered to charge me $375 on top of that to have someone bring them to my home and a $15 delivery fee to their own location. I will never step foot in that store save your time and money and go to Lowe’s they deal with Pella directly and don’t price gouge.

Great quality product at a fair price. We are very satisfied with the windows, exterior door and sliders that we put in our new house from Pella. Thank you Cal for all your help and expertise. Well definitely recommend you to anyone who ask.

This was our second project with the sales rep Eric. The order process was simple and straightforward. The installation crew from Valour Buildings did an excellent job. We had a couple of small issues related to shipping with our new sliding door but Pella did a fantastic job correcting them. We highly recommend Eric in sales, Pella and the installation crew to anyone looking for new doors and windows.

Calvin was awesome and the whole Pella crew! We have been here a year and the windows are wonderful! Creative and professional.

The team showed up, took out the old absolutely inefficient [vinyl replacement, not PELLA] window sets [2 pairs] and installed the new PELLA window sets in the exact same space. In the process they found some rot under the windows and repaired that as they went. Post install they cleaned up inside and out and the process took less than one day. All trim was replaced, not reused and looks wonderful. I am very happy with the work performed. My house now has PELLA throughout.

We had windows that were not up to code so we called Paella and they were very responsive. Fast service and reasonable prices. They even made sure the windows were cat perch friendly. We were traveling when they installed and we came home to big windows and a clean area where they worked.We are hiring them again already for our next project!

Knowledgeable people in the showroom. Promptly came to my home at scheduled time. Reviewed options in detail. Cal was our sales technician and he was extremely competent and personable. I highly recommend this group and especially Cal, he is refreshingly passionate about his career and customer service.

This review is strictly about our experience with having an estimate done.We called Pella and requested someone come to our house to do an estimate on replacing 10 windows. A few days later, exactly on time (literally the minute the appointment was for) Colby came knocking on our door. She was very professional, friendly and informative. She spent a good amount of time with us, explaining everything she could think of as well as answering our questions very well. We will not be hiring Pella to replace our windows at this time as the cost was higher than anticipated, but our customer service experience provided by Colby was really great. She definitely made an effort to help us out/make us happy as much as she could. She was great to work with for the time she was here and afterwards via email, and I think Pella is lucky to have her. Our only issue was the price, I have no complaints about the service we received.

Quick to send someone out to estimate, and provided estimates for both install services or DIY path, and explained the pros and cons of each. Great customer service -- quick to respond and knowledgeable.

Needed a large window replaced, three sashes wide and about 15 feet off the ground. The crew sent by Pella arrived on time and went right to work. Took great care in protecting my floors and even covered the opening with plastic while they swapped the windows out (I replaced these windows in winter). Did a great job and the vinyl siding and trim were put back perfectly. The quality of my new Pella window is awesome, very well built, no give when I push/pull on it and no cold or wind coming through. I would highly recommend. You can buy cheaper windows... but this is truly an area where you get what you pay for. Huge difference over the 10 year old vinyl windows I was replacing.

Im upgrading our earlier 2 star review to 4 stars. Wed had problems with siding at the back of our house that when the installation team removed it and put it back on after the windows were replaced. In a couple of areas, the siding would blow off the house on windy days. Pleased to say the installer eventually returned and fixed the siding to our satisfaction. thank you!

As an installer, I find Pella windows and doors to be some of the best on the market. Their customer service is also top-notch. I really appreciate having a dedicated outside salesman who can measure on site and provide jodsite help ordering and with warranty claims. Jason K. is very attentive to detail and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Pella to any contractor or homeowner.

My house is older and requires replacement of some of the windows. The originals were Pella and I went back to Pella to get my replacements. I did a complete replacement (not inserts). The customer service I received from Cal at Pella was great.

I bought glass sliding doors, when the doors got here, they did not have blinds in the door. So I had to cancel my carpenter. Next doors that arrived, the grey sliding strip on the still door, was 1 inch wide on top and bottom. We finally put in the third doors. After a year or a little more, the slide mechanics that pull the blinds up and down stopped working. After calling them, they said “ it is still under warranty. Give us $128.00 and we will send someone out to see what it needs. I’m sure the guy is not making $128.00 an hour, I’m sure the price of the part is in that fee. Warranty means NO charge. Beware.

Pella did a grear job installing our large living room window. I wish there were better promotions on installing smaller windows for a cheaper price. They do a good job, but they are definitely not the cheapest store around. If prices were more affordable, I would give them my businees to replace all of the remaining windows in my house.

We had Simard Construct in Swanton, VT install all new Pella windows in our 1870 farm house. The Windows are extremely high quality. The installation process was very professional and great craftsmanship. While the Pella product is not the least expensive windows on the market, they definitely are the best quality. We have experienced a 50% decrease in our heating cost this winter. We highly recommend Pella and Simard Construction.Jeff & Vicki

Ive worked with the Pella team on 2 different occasions (and looking forward to a 3rd as we update our house). Their team has been nothing but fantastic, ensuring that we got exactly the right product, at the correct dimensions, and within city ordinances. Today as it gets hot out I went to install our window AC unit at which point I learned, the Impervia window design does not accommodate. Pella would not have known that I needed this because I never brought it up! The more info you can give them, the better they can help you.

I ordered over $6,000 worth of windows from Pella on Dorset Street. I wanted an expect to help me navigate a window project I was handed and thought that that was what I getting.......expert help. Pella ordered new construction windows for a house built in the 1880s first big mistake but one the contractor could handle. The original order also did not take into consideration that the house is in the National Registry for Historic homes and the original order had vinyl windows instead of aluminum clad. Fortunately a mistake I, a non expert caught. The original order did not have egress windows which I changed and instead of going with the same size window as all the double hung windows the egress were 3 inches too small, and two smaller windows were too big, one being so big it couldnt be used. Pella would not exchange the windows and the contractor had to gerry rig them. If we had bought the window through Home Depot or Lowes they would have exchanged them with no questions asked. Pella did not live up to their reputation.

Ive installed a lot of windows. Pella are not worth the money in my opinion. Customer service is nonexistent. Storm door hardware is only 1 yr warranty.

Deciding which brand of windows to use is not always a easy decision. Our rep. Calvin, made the decision easy for us. He was very professional, and knowledgeable. He listened to what we wanted, and made it happen. He gave us all of the options, and gave some suggestions that we are happy we went with.Knowing that we would be installing all of our windows ourselves, Calvin provided us with all of the information we would need to have an easy install.
