Was eager to stop here, so maybe I hyped it up to much. Not many things to choose from, got a red velvet cupcake it was really good. Just thought they would have more variety. Cashier seemed like she would rather be some where else. I may try it again maybe it was just a bad day.

I have tried a variety of items from this bakery and have loved everything I’ve tried! The cupcakes are always very good, moist, and not overly rich like most. The macaroons are hands down the best I’ve ever had! They always have a great selection and unique things to try! Highly recommend! :)

The best bakery Ive been to! They do it all! If you can think it they can make it! I dont know how they do it but they pack a huge amount of flavor in all sorts of small packages. Thats not easy to do! If you dont believe me test out their double chocolate cupcakes with the filling inside! You cant go wrong with any bakery from this place!

This used to be the best place to get pies a few years ago, now, every holiday pie we’ve gotten has had something wrong with it. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Can the city please close this place. I have no idea how this place is still in business. How has Spring Hill and Rock City not crushed this place. If you want disappointment this is your place. Words cannot describe how nasty this place is. Nothing is original. They have no recipes that make them unique. Everyone could make better than them. Everything is over cooked.

Everything we received was SO GOOD and the employees were so kind and helpful. Sooo glad that we stopped by for their Harry Potter Day.

This place is legit gross. Cake from a box is better than this place. Cake from the Kroger bakery is better than this place. How are they still in business? Stay away from this place. Not good at all. Yuck

I am a chocoholic and all their chocolate choices are heavenly. Fresh and the best buttercream icing I have ever had!

Low quality items. Cake is DRY and the cookies are Hard as a rock. Also whoever decorated the cake should be fired. A four year old could draw better 0

The chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream icing are some of the best Ive ever had. Every cake we have ordered from Sugar Pie has been absolutely delicious. So grateful to have such a great bakery in Charleston!

I was excited to try this place but the only thing to say about it is that is very over priced and disappointing.

I heard Sugar Pie Bakery had the Best pepperoni rolls on the east coast. As soon as I heard this I had to have one. I must say, “they truly are the BEST I have ever ate”! Their chocolate peanut butter cupcakes are AMAZING too!! Keep up the great baking, I will definitely be a return customer.

Went to order a birthday cake and they kept raising the price on me. I decided to go to Springhill Bakery instead and they gave me a better price for a bigger cake.

I find it funny that when the responded to the Union Jack cake they said “the customer was so easy going”. If the employee and the customer agreed to fondant on the cake and they ultimately didn’t put it on there why would they not call the customer to ask if that was okay? I was at the party where this cake was used. The cake was dry and nasty and did not have enough spices in it. The Union Jack wasn’t even centered correctly on the cake. It looks like a kindergartener drew it. Make better cakes and have a better customer service.

The cannolis have no taste and are overpriced..

Ordered a Union Jack birthday cake. Not only was it a day late but the top design was not in fondue like agreed it was just icing and it looks like a toddler designed it. The cake was not in a refrigerator so the icing was melting off.

We had a large party for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary and Sugar Pie was able to help us do a recreation of my parents wedding cake. They did a 3 tier wedding cake with Almond Cake and Vanilla Buttercream. It was seriously out of this world...took me back to the old school wedding cake that we used to be used too. Everyone at the party was going on an on about it and having more than one piece...wish we just would have gotten it a little bit bigger due to the double dipping on cake. They were even able to deliver for a charge which I appreciated. Easy to work with over the phone since Im in Columbus, OH.

Ordered a $70 cake for my daughters college graduation. It was supposed to be white, it was off white. It was supposed to have a black grad cap with white tassel, it was grey with off white tassel. It was supposed to say Congratulations Madison, it said Congrats Madison in huge letters that looked like a kindergarten kid wrote it. It was supposed to have rosettes, it looked like smashed roses. My husband picked it up. I called the next day and they had me bring it back in. The paper they wrote all the directions on was there, with everything written and drawn the way it was supposed to be, colors and everything. They did refund my money, but we ended up with a cake from Krogers (it was very good).

Cake was very, very dry and tasted old. The cakes didnt have enough icing on them to cover the cakes. The boxes that cake came in was very flimsy. We were very disappointed. We will never go back and definitely wont recommend them.

I ate a piece of cake in the survivors tent at the Susan G. Komen walk today. I am a icing snob. This icing was the best ever!

I went into this shop with very high expections. I guess that was my first mistake. 3 1/2 prior to closing their shelves were practically bare. Not going back.

Cupcakes, macaroons, and rolled sugar cookies are all delicious! The staff are courteous and friendly, and the shop is adorable!

Their pumpkin roll is to die for and the cheesecake is amazing!
