Everything was great in the beginning. They were able to expedite the building of our house because we lost ours due to a fire. Quick, that is about the only good thing I can say about them. We had a final walk through and pointed out the things that needed fixed or touched up. I ended up wasting most of my vacation that year because of the numerous trips it took to fix things. The longer were in the house, the more we regret buying from them. Too many things to list here. After waiting for months for them to get HVAC people out, the manager accused me of threatening him because I stated please dont make me keep having to ask you to get this done Very poor workmanship. The people that put it together were obviously trying to get home early throughout the job. Trim is junk, paint is trash, appliances arent great quality. Had to contact corporate before someone would come out to fix our shower that was leaking because the local dealer couldnt after several tries. I wish I had it to do over, but we were practically homeless and living with my parents, and the experience with Clayton did not help soothe the experience of losing everything to a fire. All photos attached were pointed out during the final walk through, and several times thereafter. And some were even fixed. The house was 2 years old in July, it is now November.

As of April 2021 we have been in this home for 2 years. Nothing has been done. Call service they schedule and come out fix a few cracks in drywall and that’s about it. Promise to fix everything else and will see us next week or maybe 2. Never come back or call have to track them down only to do it all over. The bathroom tub was cracked on delivery and still to this day has never been fixed along with everything else. Last time they was here was in February 2021 and said they would be back in 3 weeks now it’s July 2021 never returned or called. Done with this. Going to Attorney General Office to file complaint. If I can sue to get all repairs done I will. Please people be careful of buying from here.UPDATE. Called the number gave them all information. They said someone would contact me in a few days and they would monitor the situation. THAT WAS 9 DAYS AGO. No response at all. Just a heads up if anyone is considering Clayton Homes.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CENTER! The worse customer service ever! Male sales rep and GM are not honest, hide information from you, refuse to answer your questions, because they are hiding something. It’s not about the customer at all. It’s all about them making as much as they can off of you behind your back. Stay away from this center unless you want to get ripped off!!!

I’ve been in my home for a little over 2 years. There are still issues pending that have been a problem since installation due to Clayton’s amateur crew. Calling does no good as they just make false promises about getting it fixed. Supposedly they’ve had “everything” to fix our home several times but when it’s time to actually do it, they have one excuse after another. Really wish we had gone elsewhere.

They gave us keys and told us to look at all their models and the information was on the fridge in each one. There was no information in the 3 we looked at and no one seemed to have time to help with questions much.

Amazingly beautiful homes

Worst place you could go. Took 6 months to get a leak fixed in a sink. They lied about everything I have asked about. Took 6 months to get the underpinning put on. Then they brought the wrong color and won’t fix it. The biggest mistake I have made is going to Clayton homes in South Charleston.

The salesmen here are friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a variety of financing options. Even for people with a bad credit history. They even have repo listings where you can buy a mobile home and lot together at a discounted price! I purchased my home from here!

My home has been sitting for over a year and not fixed. The materials aren’t in is what I am told. Do not buy from this place. If I could download pics I would.

The first visit was very good. The staff worked hard around the city codes n regulations. Lets see how it goes from there.
