We called these guys after having a difficult time finding a certain material for a client. They found the rock quickly and gave us an honest price. They did a good job installing and provided good service. Definitely will use these guys for my next project.

I am very pleased with the services and countertops that I received from the sales team and employees of Optimum. I made an appointment and came in with simple measurements of what I needed. The sales person helped me pick some color options in quartz. They have a nice amount of samples and brands to choose from. I did have a budget and they worked with me on that. The process from measurement to installation was very simple and easy. The countertops look really nice and I am very happy with them and the overall work of Optimum. I do recommend giving them a call!

I would HIGHLY recommend using Optimum Granite and Marble. We shopped around at numerous stores looking for Quartz for our kitchen. It was not until we meet and had the pleasure to work with Kadee Bahic that we finally found what we were looking for. She is knowledgeable, patient and kind. By far she was the very best person we worked with out of all the stores we went to. I am so excited to see the whole project come together because of her!

Recently had our countertops replaced in our kitchen. Optimum had a great showroom for selections. We went with quartz. The did a wonderful job on our tops including an island over 10 feet long in one piece. Great pricing and service.

They have a wonderful customer service and do a great job in a timely manner. They have installed all the countertops in our home. Kadee was so helpful during the selection process with choosing the perfect material to complete our look. Measurements are done quickly, they follow up with appointment reminders and the install was painless! Highly recommend.

Very unprofessional staff. Gave them a Large project for a Remodeling job and it turned out to be a mess. They didn’t still to the schedule, they came in for an initial measurement, and after we met them at the showroom And provided us with a quote proposal after the measurement and after we picked the granite And they sent their installer to do the final measurement and 2 weeks afterwards and only few days before the installation and after they cashed the 50% deposit check they claimed that the calculation was not correct and that they needed More Money For the project . After we threatened them to take them to court they came back and installed but missed 1 small section that they didn’t do and they fully charged my credit card for the balance and until today i haven’t received the Waiver of lien not they came to Jan all the smallShelve that they forgot. This was a $10,000 job . Be careful dealing with these people

Just today had Optimum install Quartz in a basement bar and bathroom for us. From the rep Jordan, to the installer Soffit (spell check) and the owner Denis. Everyone has a been a pleasure to work with. They have excellent pricing and deliver a beautiful product. Highly recommend to anyone looking for countertops!

Had a few hiccups with getting this project done. But in the end Denis and his team went above and beyond to make things right and get the job done. I highly recommend them I will be doing business with them again in the future.

Purchased quartz for our kitchen, with half the money down, the week before Christmas. Half was installed in the agreed upon time frame and the remaining was installed on FEBRUARY 11 (about a month after we agreed). The delay was due to their supplier not having the product that they sold us nearly 2 months prior. Because of their unapologetic stance, their lack of solutions to the problem and their unwillingness to offer compensation for the massive inconvenience, I would not recommend them.

I am from Rockford, IL. I was told that the cost of purchasing granite counters from Optimum Granite in Elgin, IL would save me $$$ as opposed to the Rockford companies. That certainly proved true. In addition to cost the installation time was within 2 weeks after we picked out the slab we wanted. Each step of the process I was informed and all my many questions and demands were met.

The team at Optimum Granite were great to work with-from the visit to the showroom to the installation of my Master bath two sink granite. Price was very reasonable. As I had a very long slab I wanted to avoid a seam and Kadee and her team made it work. I am delighted with the piece and that the sinks were included. They delivered the day they scheduled-no delay even though the original piece became damaged the night before and they had to re cut mine the same morning. I even asked for some of the extra left over pieces to be polished and edges finished to make some serving charcuterie slabs and they were happy to do it. Professional every step of the process. I will use them again and highly recommend you see what they have to offer! My husband is a realtor and will recommend them to clients as well.

We did back to back bathroom remodels and ordered both counters from Optimum Granite. When we were ordering I told them since we were living in the house during the remodel, one bathroom had to be completely finished before demo was scheduled to start on the second. We worked with Alicia who told us that wouldn’t be a problem since they would have some flexibility with scheduling.However, Optimum Granite refused to come out and measure twice. Since they would only schedule one measurement for both remodels, the contractor was held up. The first counter wasn’t ready in time. We had to PAY to reinstall an old counter while we waited for the first to be completed.Then they refused to honor the measurements for the second bathroom and ended up having to come out a second time as they should have in the first place. They didn’t care at all that their attempt to increase their bottom line caused our family major issues since we were left without a working bathroom in our home.The owner, Dennis, then took over our project from Alicia. He was super defensive and hostile. He sent us a lot of emails with things bolded and underlined, denied were ever told we would receive flexibility and called me multiple times during the workday to complain about how much we (the customer) were inconveniencing him after I complained about not having ANY working full bath in a house for my two kids. I must have been told a hundred times they had 200 other customers and they would prefer to give us our money back. Sadly we were too far into the remodel to cancel the order.After the second counter was installed and everything was paid for we realized that there were scratches on the surface of the granite. I noticed these the first day we started using the bathroom because the counter is next to a large window. They also did not properly seal the counter or the threshold to the shower. It absorbs water like a sponge. I called several times trying to reach Dennis but even after leaving voicemails and messages with his staff he never reached back out to me.Finally got ahold of Alicia, she refused to address the scratching but blamed the sealing on the piece of granite and said ‘the sealing hadn’t taken’. She said they could come out and reseal the counter and threshold whenever it was convenient for THEM, but I never received a call back to schedule the sealing.Optimum Granite does not guarantee their work. Once you sign the paper at the install they absolve themselves of all responsibility. They take no responsibility for installing a faulty product. I am completely dissatisfied with how they handle issues. If they had at any time apologized for misleading us, or been at all cooperative I would understand, but they are unapologetic about delivering terrible products and customer service.You can buy granite, quartz and marble anywhere. Do you want to PAY people to treat you like garbage, hold up your renovation and then install a product that isn’t what you paid for? Please do business with Optimum Granite.

Very unprofessional and sloppy work. We bought close to 10k worth of granite from them and during installation they cracked the granite and didnt disclose their mistake and tried to hide it from me. When I found it and brought it to their attention they blamed it on me. They were unwilling to admit their mistake and didnt want to work with me on a solution. Tough luck attitude. Sloppy all around installation as well. This is my first and probably last Yelp review because its just not my thing, but was so unhappy with this company, I felt it was my duty to let people know before they make the same mistake
