I wish I would of read the reviews before going to Byrider in South Holland they cars and trucks are lemons. I purchased a 2011 Equinox and the second day it started shaking like it wanted to cut off long story short they repair people claimed the changed the shocks and oil but now 2 months down the line the truck is shaking again and making a loud sound like I need a muffler. I called to tell the mechanic and he asked me did I check the oil level lol and cant look at my truck until 2wks. Please people do your homework before purchasing these used cars/trucks from this place. I told many of my friends DO NOT shop with this company. I wish we could protest this company and WIN paying our hard working money for a piece of junk.

He reassured me on the phone that they worked with bad credit plus was able to get me an Uber to the car lot. Would not recommend to my worst enemy!Got a car on Friday and Sunday it over heated.Customer service is horrible. They wont let me void this horrible contract. I only drove the car 20 miles and now its in their shop and they cant tell me when it will be fixed or looked at. So to sum it up...I put money down on a car that I cant drive but still have to pay a car note on this nonworking vehicle. So please DONT Be like me..steer clear of Jdbyrider and CNAC!....No stars from me.That one star is only so I could post and let every one know!!!!!...Sincerely a dissatisfied customer who will be contacting my lawyer!

I purchased my 2012 Chevy Malibu from the South Holland location February 28th and within 9 days (March 7th )of buying the vehicle the vehicle wouldn’t start I contacted the maintenance department and they assured they would get it taken care of. My vehicle was towed in they claimed to have fixed the issue i picked up my vehicle and headed home when the vehicle completely shut off ON THE HIGHWAY WITH MY THREE OLD IN THE BACKSEAT I called in to the dealership livid! Once again the car was towed in ! They claimed to have fixed the issue again. April 22nd they vehicle would not start again I contacted the maintenance again to report the issue, also had the car towed in again! They couldn’t pin point the problem Al the. Maintenance literally told me he has no idea what the problem is and gave me a replacement fuse and basically told me good luck! June 5 The vehicle had the same issue i reported again and they still couldn’t find the issue i was told my vehicle was starting the entire time the had it on the lot! July comes and i was having the same exact problem and the maintenance decides to replace the computer. August comes and the issue persist! They jeopardize my job! My life and child’s life with an inoperable vehicle! That had the same problem Six times! They replaced the fuel pump twice and the rely and placed a brand new computer into the car and it still was having the same issue I even had a second OPINION FROM CHEVY THEY DECLARED THE CAR INOPERABLE and Instead of fixing the issue they lied and said my account was delinquent and it was not I have every receipt and bank statement! Showing i was on time! I was told by the manager Darin and Sabrina they were working hard to get me into a new vehicle which i have a record of and even recorded conversations! They said bring the car in so they can evaluate the car and I would be contacted by Monday or Wednesday and to send photos of a potential new vehicle I would like, Instead of being straight forward my calls were ignored and my emails I contacted them today and i was told they were illegally backing out of my contract! Because they can’t figure out the issue with the car! And i have that recorded as well! They took my car and my money illegally! With no Explanation! JD BYRIDER just completely ignored the contract at hand! Instead of switching me into a new vehicle or at least refunding my down payment since they backed out the deal! And not me! I have reached out to a lawyer! Because of this please be aware OF JD BYRIDER I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS LOCATION. Charnette Boyd! I wish i can post the audio and emails to prove the LIES I WAS TOLD DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

🍋🍋0 stars for me ZERO STARS 0. The absolute worst comprehensive diagnostic service Ive ever had. I waited 30 days for an appointment and $50 for them to neglect my vehicle. They did not check my struts/ shocks if so theyd notice theyre all leaking, all rotors, calipers, hardware and pads all bad. The trans leaking, the a/c is out, the stabilizer is malfunctioning but they drove my truck 31 miles and determined nothing was wrong. NEVER BUY FROM JDBYRYDER THEY SELL LEMONS 🍋🍋 Never use their auto shop the technicians are clueless and scammers. ZERO STARS GOOSE 🥚

The woman at the reception desk hurried me in and set up my oil change in seconds flat. Greatly appreciated since this is my only off day and it’s hard to get here during the week‼️ Great people.

First of all, TERRI WATSON, one of the case managers with CNAC shouldn’t be working in customer service whatsoever. I don’t know who hurt her, or why she’s so blatantly rude for no reason... but she needs to rethink her career. Bitter women like her don’t need to work directly with people. But anyways, overall this place is a complete joke. I really wish I would’ve done the proper research and read the bad reviews for this predatory company. They sell bad cars to people with questionable credit, completely taking advantage of their situation. Like I haven’t had this truck for no more than 6 months and I can barely keep it running! This place really shouldn’t even be in business.

Only the service department is good with proper phone etiquette. The Finance department need to be trained. The agents call you unprofessional and send grammatical error emails. They bother people on the first day the payment is due at 8am. There’s no grace period. They need to be taught “hello, may I speak to”, instead of saying the customer name as if they personally know them.

I had an amazing experience with Taylor, I loved the entire process, they’re funny, friendly, and very helpful when it came down to the vehicle buying process!

Very satisfied with the process at Byrider. Taylor was very helpful. She kept checking up on me for about 2 weeks to come down and look and I finally did and Im very happy I did. The staff is very welcoming and the office is clean. They also paid for me a Uber to come in. I know Im buying a high mileage used vehicle and the financing charges are pretty high but Ive dealt with the same with santander and I paid it off. You can get just as much out of a high mileage car as almost brand new car just keep the maintenance up and on schedule but thanks byrider for my ride. And Taylor for keeping in contact with me daily to get me to come down.

Either JD Byrider is posting there own reviews or these people posting are delusional. JD Byrider in South Holland is a complete scam. I purchase my vehicle in Sept. 20’. 10 days in I was having issues starting the car. Next thing I know my engine blow. I took it in right around Halloween I didn’t my car back til thanksgiving. Now I have more issue I need flex pipe serpentine belt and a alternator. I hate I got a car from them I vow to inform everyone I know don’t ever get a car from them. If it was possible I’ll give them half a star Only cuz Darien is the only thing good up there.

This was my 1st time having a car note... the ac went out the second week of having the car the car... they used dry wall screws to hold the front fenders and the bumper the check engine light came on the 3rd day the car was hit by a drunk driver who Actually saved me from having to deal with it yessssss if you ever saw the movie Matilda this is the lot where the father worked don’t not waste your money or time here plz don’t.... I put my trust into them and got used just like the car

I purchased this vehicle it will be 2yrs in July 2020 .But Ive spent close to $700.00 for repairs under warranty and now they plan to charge me again to fix the same problem previously paid to fix. Im a senior and I feel like Ive been taken advantage of and I intend to pursue a course of action this is so unfair

DO NOT BUY FROM JD BYRIDER. This place is a SCAM!! 2 days after I received the car, the CHECK ENGINE light came on. So you know they unplugged the battery to restart the sensors to sell the car. Been issues with the car ever since. Then get into an accident, informed that the CPI insurance that they offer only covers them. Which wasn’t explained when I made my payments. DO NOT OBTAIN CPI WITH THEM. I was told CPI is meant to have your own insurance with it (what sense does that make?). Then when I asked for paperwork showing the car had CPI at the time of the crash, I was told they only have the initial expiry date and do not update paperwork after that. Only update it in the computer. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS DOES NOT HAVE UP TO DATE DOCUMENTS. I’m reporting them to EVERY SOURCE I can. Been paying them for more than 2 1/2 years. Should’ve took the car back when the check engine light came on. Now they expect me to pay for a car that is totaled. As they “have to see” if they can put you into a new vehicle. My attorney will be in contact with them VERY shortly. All of the good reviews are only when they receive the car.

Avoid this place at ALL cost!! I just purchased my car literally three days ago and the engine light is on and I keep getting the low tire pressure signal!! I called and Simone the woman who sold the car keeps avoiding me by transferring me to the service department but she was all nice when trying to sell the car...don’t fall for the charm!! Now the service department is saying the engine repair is not covered under the warranty!!! I told Simone the first day the sun roof didn’t work and she said to bring the car back only to be told it’s not covered! Obviously nothing is concerned under the so call warranty. Don’t waste your time and money on the cars at this lot! All they do is push the previous car owners problems off to you...which means they don’t repair anything on the cars!! If you’re desperate try some place else!! Everything on the lot is garbage and over priced!!
