I received turtles as a gift and they wrre so good. I had never visited this store before but definitely will in the future. I highly recommend this store. The candy was so rich and fresh better than any other Id had before. Thank you for helping to make my day a joy.

Love this place!! I got a banana split which was delicious. My husband got some fudge which he says is the creamiest he’s ever tasted. I can’t wait for the summer when they’ll have peach ice cream. Mary was super friendly. This place is really a hidden gem!

This is a family owned business that has been making handmade candy and ice cream for nearly 90 years. I consider myself an ice cream and chocolate expert and Cunis Candies and Ice Cream is second to none in my opinion. I would highly recommend that you take the time to visit them in South Holland and theres a strong likelyhood youll frequent their establishment like I do. They are extremely friendly, professional and hardworking and I look forward to my next opportunity to visit them and enjoy their exceptional quality chocolates and ice cream.

I love Cunis Candies and have been a customer for over 20 years. This is the place to go for fresh made chocolate covered nuts and raisins and sherbet. You can even request to have something made to order like their milk chocolate rocky road bars.

Had a wonderful time at this establishment. Service was friendly and professional. The cup of ice cream, blueberry was the second best I have had (but the best within an 800 mile radius 🍦).

Overpriced store bought candies. I heard sugar was bad for you anyways. if i wanted swedish fish i would go to walmart. the woman behind the counter was just standing there when she could be making home made sugar candies. no customers why not make real candy? i would bet money that before i walked in to the store you were on your phone and didnt wash your hands. i know for a fact you didnt wash your hands when i walked in. how serious are you taking these protocols that you dont even wash your hands when a customer walks in?honestly with the lack of business you guys have im sure you arent upset about losing customers. i never see anyone in the store. wouldnt be suprised if your store was a front.

Ive been driving pass this place for years and never knew what I have been missing out on. Stopped in for the first time today and I felt like a kid again. I love the genuine old timey feel and the ladies at the counter were so kind and made me feel welcomed. I enjoyed spending my money there. The chocolates were the best Ive had in years and took me back down memory lane. Places like this is what makes a community stronger, not the big corporations and chain restaurants. Cunis Candies has the best ice cream you can find. Its the best ice cream I ever had. All of the ice cream is homemade and it tastes amazing. Cunis Candies is very underrated though and not many people go there. Id totally recommend people go there. I also know someone who works there (His name is Darius and hes pretty chill) and he recently got the job. Hes nice to his customers but its a shame not many people go there. Id recommend everyone go there and get some ice cream.

This was THE TREAT as a kid! The hot fudge was amazing and the chocolates OUT OF THIS world. Havent thought about it in ages, but with easter around the corner, something made me google them to see if they were still around. SO glad they are-special trip in my future!!

Well this is my first and last time visiting...there was a roach and the employee tried to cover it with paper. It ran into the freezer where the ice cream is kept. I am so disgusted.
