If it had a zero I would give it 0.the manager there was not very friendly.and was not understanding at all. The sweater was very damage from the hanger. I ask. do I still have to pay the original price . He say yes in a very nasty way. I say but its damaged.he said so. that’s the way the come to us .all ready on the hangers . And I say but it have a hole it. He said no. still nothing off for being damaged. Most place do discounts if merchandise w damaged..and this store is always cluttered.

Stocked better other Family Dollars Ive been in. Friendly and helpful staff.

The first store that I went to was in Harvey. The cashier locked the door during the day and did not state why the store was close. Which made me have to drive to the South Holland store. People were unfriendly, I was over CHARGED and in order to correct the issue I had to do a refund and re-buy the item. To make things worst the 5 dollar coupon on works on Saturday. What a joke. My advice stay away from both stores and go to one that will value you as an customer.

Cashier #1 was very slow, the line was long as the other cashier #2 walked around the store for approximately 15 putting overstock back. Customers had to asked if there was anyone else who could assist him get the line down. Customers put merchandise back and walked out of the store due to the poor customer service and long wait. Will not shop there again Ive experienced this in this store several other times. This store needs to invest in secret shopper to assist them with better customer service skills.

This is a very good economical place to go to for simple items that wont hurt your pocketbook.

Cashier was very rude I accidently waited till the last minute to realize I didnt want the item and the cashier directly said its only 20 dollars so pay for it he seemed very lazy because I accidently did that before and they had no problem with doing it the cashier was very rude and the customer service was TERRIBLE!!

This family dollars are always well stocked & cashiers are pleasant...will continue to come when needed.

They have majority of the items at the larger stores just smaller quantity. A good place to save money for household items.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. They are so rude and unprofessional. They have tons of employees with only one line open and the line is wrapped around the store. Yall definitely need to get it together. This is the best way to lose customers. I wont be visiting here anymore

The cashier argued with me about the price of plates and wouldnt even look at the sign. She just told me im wrong. I literally took a picture of the plates sign, and she was still nasty to me and wouldnt sell me plates for the price on the sign. If the price is wrong on the sign, thats one thing but her attitude was uncalled for.

The service was absolutely horrible! These young girls dont know anything about customer service!

Fully stocked only thing missing was Rubbing alcohol

This store needs to be operated better. Its usually junky with boxes stacked in aisles which is a hazard to customers. The store does have a nice variety of things but watch the prices. You can get certain items for $1 at Dollar Tree when Family Dollar charge $2 or $3 for same item. Beware. The new staff I simply dont care for at all especially the manager (she has an ugly disposition). I miss the original staff member from when this store first opened. They were much more friendly.

Went in to grab a few hair care items pass by a clearance display with gift set for 25% off selected 6 different sets all of which rang up reg price thats when i was told that meant they were really on sale

I was looking for size 1 diapers and that was the only place I found them.They have a great selection of baby needs.

Come here all the time they have everything I need at low cost.

The manager I think her name is Sonya is very rude and unprofessional. Then when I asked her a question she catches an attitude.The items are expired,stuff is all over the place,and nothing is ever hardly stocked.I shop here because I live here in South Holland,but I def won’t be back.
