If you live in south Houston or willing to travel for some delicious homemade Mexican food this place is worth the drive. I love tripas and I especially like it when they will throw them back on the grill to cook then crunchy and this is one of the best places to have some delicious CLEAN tripa tacos. Everything is good here especially the menudo with very friendly people to take care of you. I always tip the ladies and they always remember who does so they pack your tacos extra fat when you come next time. A must try place to eat or buy fresh meat!!

Ive been coming to this place for over 20 years now. They have the best breakfast tacos in the south houston area.

The owner will hustle you on your bill if your not careful. I had it happen to me twice already. If your not careful he will add more to your bill and charge it. Got in a arguement with him over it and he acted like it was a mistake. Like I said before this had happen before. This only has happened with the owner ( the older man). Never going back there again tired of that man.

There food are a little bit to high..but its worth it. The only thing is that they need more staff. The line was so long and people were just leaving. I had to wait for a while but the line wasnt long at that time

I come by here often to and from work. Food tastes great and if your a fan of spicy get the habanero sauce.

Is been years sense I came to this place. Last time was like 4 years from this post. Why I got in a fight with the owner. He charged me 8 dollars just because I ask the lady if she could cut me a banana on my oatmeal. Today decided to come back just because I missed the tacos from this place. I got a coffee and two tacos and paid 10.50. Seriously? Hell no. This guy over charge people

Went there this morning for the first time never saw such a respectful staff of people well-organized the butcher very professional and help me select a good quality of meat I also bought some morning breakfast for the family and the staff with quick service I dont know who the gentleman was with the gray hair but want to say thank you very much to him for making me feel at home I will return and recommend this place now I know why people talk so good about Gonzalez Meat Market it is a place that is open early in the morning you are in and out but its just so hard to leave with the aroma of the smelling of the good breakfast too many good selections you want to take everything I want to thank Gonzalez meat market and their staff for their Hospitality I recommend this place to anyone

I have been coming over here for over 20 years the fajitas are to live for. Customer service is always above and beyond. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The butchers are always on point and trim the fajitas perfect. The seasonings do not get more Mexican than that.

I would have given 5 stars because I love this place but they limit the small sauce to only 2 containers for 5 tacos so not cool. Just saying 😅

Its a meat market they sell pretty good food, morning tacos and barbaqou. They are open at 3 in the morning which is good. Easy access

Never coming in here again!!!I bought 4 pounds of barbacoa Togo and stupid lady didn’t want to cut more cilantro and onions so she said she wasn’t gonna cut anymore cilantro or onions because“it doesn’t come with it, that’s only for people who eats inside”REALLY DUMBASS I’m paying 44$ for 4 pounds of barbacoa and this rude ass lady not gonna give me cilantro and onions for the freaking barbacoa ??? Why ??? Cilantro and onions doesn’t cost much, and they’re just gonna lose customers with that cheapass attitude... Besides all this mess people please BE AWARE they rob me I paid for 4 pounds of barbacoa and I only got 3 pounds SMDHWhen I get food by the pound I always check in my scale that I have at my house to see if I did get what I paid for...But for my surprise this thieves only put 3 pounds of barbacoa smh never going there again places like this are just full scams !!!

In González meta market the food is tasty but the tortilla gets hard fast

The Sweetbreads are very delicious !!! I live in Cypress and nowhere do I find that they make them as rich as this place, I drive more than 45 minutes..when I can come to this place for a weekend to please me ... the staff are very friendly and helpful ... Congratulations for your business !!
