My first impression here at this Food Town was that it was really big compared to most. I had an great time here shopping with my wife checking out the variety of merchandise they had in stock. It was very spacious I did not feel overwhelmed or clustered at all in the store. My second biggest impression of the store was how clean it was. Very isle I walked through smelled so clean with a fresh scent. I would highly recommend this Food Town I found everything I needed and more!

Watch those POT HOLES coming in! I dont know why this Food Town always look deserted and I know its not. Maybe its the strip center bringing it down. This is not my first time coming here, it just has a feeling of depression and who wants that feeling when theyre spending money. Alright, its Food Town we all know with that free item coupon with $10 purchase that used to come in the mail that kept us coming back. Now you have to get the app to receive the coupon. You have to watch the prices carefully sometimes prices are more than other stores

I have frequented this Food Town several times, and found it today as I usually do...very clean with spacious aisles, and friendly employees. Whether shopping for a basket of groceries or a few items, this store provides a quiet, low hustle atmosphere. Yeah, I know its just a grocery store, but many times I prefer a Food Town store over other major chains because of the many low prices and weekly specials. There are many items for the latino culture at this particular store, with a good selection of produce, spices, cheeses and meats used in classic latino dishes. Some items are not as low in price as others, but I can save on every visit, and dont need a discount card to do so. Not knocking the discount card store because I shop there too, but Food Town stores have less indoor traffic which surprises me with their great prices on many items.

Its one of my favorite spots to go buy my groceries always get everything I need there plus my specials very satisfied with food Townservices

I love coming Here,not only are the people that work here Super nice, they also go out of their way to help you find what your looking for. They also have an app to help you save money and you get a free item each week. And when you check out you can have someone help take your groceries to your car and they put them in for you and they are considerate enough to make sure nothing gets smashed. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Good, big, clean, well stocked store with friendly staff and good prices on meat. It would help if they had hand carry tote crates again. I dont need a whole cart to push around. Prices could b marked clearer or at least PRINT THE PRICES BIGGER. And restrooms are kept clean!

The manager today was so rude Richard Garcia! We are in the middle of a freeze and there is no water no where. We came to this food town and it was super busy and understandable because so many stores are closed. There was no carts and we haven’t had water in a week so we carried the water but we ran into another family member there who let us put our water in her cart. When we went to pay we let the cashier know she was paying for hers and we were paying for ours. She was ok with it and was understanding since they had no more carts. The manager Richard Garcia went over there aggressive and was very unprofessional and started taking our water out after my family member had paid for her stuff and he tried to deny us getting our water saying we had to have separate shopping carts so my husband said he would just carry ours. SMH! Even though there was no more carts. My house needed this water for our family and children. We were even helping others to stay at my house who didn’t have light. Even though it kept turning off and on because of the freeze. The baby that was at my house also needed water for her milk. We understand it’s limited to 2cases. We weren’t braking any rules and there was no signs saying “per cart”. Richard Garcia is a sorry manager and shouldn’t be one. We even offered to show our I.d that show two different addresses! Food town should provide classes that teaches their managers customer service and professionalism because they represent the company.

Large selection of food and drinks, produce is acceptable, plenty of latin american options for food, spices and seasonings. Clean and spacious, not crowded, checkout was fast and friendly. Masks required.

I love going into food town.. Im from Louisiana and we dont have one. Been in Texas 5 years and still my favorite place to shop

Store experiences ok, was taken back when overheard a lady tell female employees to go find baskets in the parking lot and they where out in the heat and sun waiting to retrieve baskets from customers unloading their groceries.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with one of your so called trained employees. The employee in question is Amalia. The attitude, sarcasm, and side eye looks really made me question why I was spending my hard earned money at Food Town. Also, I questioned whether or not Food Town takes COVID seriously. This employee also was wearing her mask incorrectly and made me feel unsafe.

They always have what I am looking for. The prices on their meat cant be beat. Everyone is always super friendly.

Food town always has a good selection of food. Very reasonable prices. Sometimes its not always clean but the cashiers are always nice so it makes up for the cleanliness. They help me with getting the right things and making sure we have everything we need. We have very good conversations at the register. I really like foodtown. One of the better places to get last minute groceries.

Great Prices, large store.Parking area can use some attention, since there are several large holes or cracks in the concrete.Parking lot is also used by Cub attached to building, so parking at night or moving around in the parking lot can be tricky.

This store may be old looking but it is still up kept for the most part! I love the convenience of it being close to home for last minute shopping! The only two complaints i have is the parking lot! At night you cant see leaving the parking lot and there are many holes in it! Bad for my car! Cashiers are great inside the store! Management is always nice!

This is the very first time me and my mother came here today,it is very clean and quiet no children running every where and noisy,the workers is working, not flirting or looking at teens,the employees was amazed when they heard that the food town on 8800 W Sam Houston Parkway how they laugh at us because we buy a lot of food,we have clients,so we shop with their cards,some in that other food town be putting food in the basket be saying how much more she got! They be angry because we have a lot of food and they be making fun of us they made us feel so embarrass every time we go to the other food town like its a crime to buy a lot of groceries,the one like the bissionet area,this one on shaver is very extra kind,they are friendly,these at the other food town is very mean,I dont have to put up with javier and mr.louis,the man at this store came and cleared the register with no problem,I didnt hear no ugly remarks,hollering at us and talking to us really bad and the other food Town the employees be playing,old men looking at the young girls,not here, the products is fresh and great prices,the check out lady was so beautiful she went to get us chick o sticks,they communicate wellwith one another and they are on top of things,one worker she sees stuff out of place and she put it back in place and she check each isle,one manager checks the food their regularly,I love this place we found I give it 100,000,000, stars,I the other food town manager checking out,he see my mom and I coming he would shut it down and say Im close,they are mean very mean and we went to the other one in march,the worker after he stock the lady basket,he was playing with her baby,when they left,he just stood there while my 83 age of mother stocked her own basket,thank you shaver food town for being #1

I bought a reusable bag to use for the few items i bought (I forgot mine but i needed a few new ones anyways). I was looking down looking thru my purse for money and when i looked up she was bagging my 4 items AND the reusable bag into plastic bags. I took the items and put them in the reusable bag, handed her the plastic and told her the environment hates her. Sorry but that was the dumbest thing i have ever experienced.
