Went to get some posters done for an event Im helping out with. The print center staff was friendly and helpful. They worked quickly to fulfill my order and send me on my way.
Waited in the printing area for 20 minutes. It was 35 minutes before closing and they said their printing department was closed. No offer was made for a different location, day time or anything. Pretty much said they couldn’t do anything period. It would be helpful to at least offer options for another day
Thank you Tyler in printing you did such an amazing job. I was running behind schedule and he did a last-minute print job for a baby shower the next day. He was so quick and so helpful. I really appreciate it.
These guys are fueling scalpers and selling $25 paper towels. I knew this place was hurting, but come on. Done with this place.
The store is fine, I go in regularly and the service is all well and good. However whenever I go in they seem to be playing all the same songs. They are not good songs either. Genuinely feel bad for the staff as they have to be there hours on end listening to that god awful music.
I went to Office Max on a quick visit to get some supplies for our office. I was very delighted to be helped so quickly. When I first talked to the girl behind the service desk to get some lamination done, and she told me it would be about 2 hours. That was okay, and then I left to do some other shopping there, and I came back after only 5 minutes to pay for my items and lamination, and my job was complete! I also asked for particular product and the nice young man took me directly to what I needed and helped me pick out the exact right thing that I was looking for! I was very impressed, each of these two young people made my trip very quick convenient and easy! Which I truly appreciated! Way to go Office Max!
Do not use their copy center! First, they didnt know what color buff was. Second, they started making my copies on card stock without even asking what weight of paper I wanted. Third, they didnt have any 24 weight to use for copies even though they had several reams of it on the shelf for sale. Worst place Ive ever been to for making copies. Had to go someplace else.
Excellent Service, placed online order and pick up was pretty easy. Sales representatives were extremely helpful with instore purchases. Manager is super nice.
Frequent customer at this location, and am satisfied with their products and staff!Their store music has recently changed, and I can no longer stand to be in the store for longer than 10 minutes. I don’t know who does their “playlist” but they need to be scolded. It’s really terrible.
This location at The District is great! Very friendly & helpful staff! Jordan Landing is closer to my home, but I always seem to get ignored or treated like Im stupid at that location & they have the slowest cashiers of any store Ive been in! I will go a little further from now on for a better experience!
Jenna was such a huge help to me. She found me the perfect machine for my business after giving me several options. She was very educated about the products and found the best possible deal for me. She more than made up for a rough experience I had here earlier. Very impressed.
Like John Connor resisting the robotic Terminators, William Reid fought on my behalf against the uncooperative Copiers to get me my copies.Five stars for a great staff. If management is reading this you need a few more employees per shift as a line built up rather quickly.
I am having a really hard time with this location. I left my photos to be cut almost 3 weeks ago. I was told I would be called in 2-3 days. Apparently when I came to see if they were done after about a week, they had not been touched. Someone quit or something and now everyone is behind, rushed, overworked, or lazy- or just not enough people working there and the training is either nonexistent or very little.I want to send my family pics out soon i cannot do that if i cannot get my photos cut. Ridiculous.
I kind of hate this place. The ability to print things either means having a printer at home, or go to the closest place. Theyve gotten better though, since they now have a machine that takes a USB stick so I dont have to go up to the counter and have them put it in their computer to print. The people in the store try to be helpful, but end up just hovering. Oh well, I guess I could just buy an ink cartridge that will just dry out before I print enough.
If I could get this location zero stars I would. The print center is understaffed and under trained. I sent a single page document to get printed at 11:45 am, called to confirm it was received and they would be working on it at 12 pm, I called again at 2:30 only to be told they were not able to print my document. So I went in to print it myself. There were 3 people in line, and 4 employees and you could tell that everyone was aggravated and had been waiting a while. I printed my single page document on the printer and left. At 8:48 pm (12 minutes before closing) I received an email saying that they were not able to print it and I needed to come down with a PDF to print. They are unprofessional and your answer will depend on who you talk to.I will not return to this location.
Great place to buy ink from, convenient. Plus if you return the old ink you get a discount on your new ink. Also pro tip if you order online and then pick it up at the store its usually cheaper, then just going to the store.
Excellent service even though they didn’t have everything I needed the sales representative was very honest and helpful.
Nice employees but they need training on products. Took three employees to try to answer a question and I finally told them it was fine Ill figure it out on my own.
Had 200 pages sent for printing. Was told they would arrive at the mailing address in one week. It has now been two weeks and no updates. Called to see what was going on and they could not find the order. I was told they would give me a call back once they knew. Never received a phone call had to go into the store to get answers. They were going to have me call their regional support for a mistake they should be tracking. But they decided to make the phone call themselves.
It seems rare these days to receive what one would term Exceptional Service as large companies focus more on the bottom line rather than customer satisfaction. While I cannot say what the corporate culture at Office Max is, I can say that last night I received exceptional service from Ari.Ari is an excellent representation of customer service, she accommodated my needs right at closing time and even a little bit after, going out of her way to help me. She never once looked annoyed or made me feel unwelcome or hurried, it was a great experience. Then after checking out I saw her and another employee scrambling to help another customer who showed up a few minutes after close to pick up an order as well. Great work.I have never worked retail but in college I did serve tables for a couple of years. I understand how frustrating it is to have people walk in right at close and expect service, so I try to avoid being that guy. As such I want to thank Office Max for having thoughtful and empathetic employees like Ari.
Great location but terrible management. Especially their printing service management is absolutely awful. 1. Their didnt return my Thumb Drive which is normally could happened. 2. Their know my print jobs contains my business information but they didnt call about my TD. 3) after I cant find my TD i called this store within 2 days they told me they dont have it. Then, the following day when I revisited the store they said have my TD however, their District manager told it and destroyed. Wow, very irresponsible to handle customers properties, i understand for security reasons they can destroy customers TDs, but Negligently handled customers properties is most incompetent among their management. Very disappointed.Update: finally, Steve the manager did handle my complaint appropriately and effectively.
This review in particular is for an isolated experience as I normally shop at OfficeDepot as it is closer to home, but they close at 5pm on Sunday, which is lame, so with a project due Monday and a dead printer I started on my way finally ending up at this location. The store manager spent ridiculous amount of time with me explaining brand pros and cons, print yields, ink jet vs laser, and personal experience regarding these fandangled printing machines. I say ridiculous amount of time since it was nearing closing time but instead of rushing me along be made sure I made an informed decision. I walked out the door at 6:15pm carrying a printer, a pack of XL ink cartridges, and a 2TB passport drive and a smile on my face like I was carrying an animal back to the family fire. But it was just a printer that will allow a teen to turn a report in on time. =)
I have only shopped at this location once. I found every thing that I was looking for. The store manager made sure that we were checked out quickly.
Wait forever at copy center to get help. When I do get help finally. The clerk leaves my work udone on the counter and helps some woman that came in. 5 minutes after I did while my job sits on counter.I am going somewhere else.
Great prices on my office supplies and the employees were exceptionally helpful..thanks Alan..you rocked it being your first day.
Came here and bought some school supplies. They had all we needed and the staff was helpful. Ill be back again.
Picked up a great deal on a hard drive and my son got some headshots printed, very helpful staff.
The food was prepared quickly and was a good price.
Clean store. Staff was helpful. Thanks for a pleasant experience.
Its was an average experience, although the employees were very friendly and helpful.
Brandon is so rude. I’m going to lose my job because of this guy. I left the store crying. I have never written a review but to see your whole job go away because someone couldn’t print paper?!?! Brandon even knew I would lose my job. Austin didn’t care to help me also. By the way, this is all while Brandon is on lunch break at 7:30pm. He says he can’t come in for another 10 minutes. But Austin said to just leave because Brandon said to leave and he was booked for the next two days. None of the printers were even flipping on. So what the?? Please tell your employees that they need to be kinder to their customers!!!! That is all I ask.
Great staff, have always been able to help me locate what I need
First time at this locations loved. They had what I was looking for, and they were friendly as well.
Dude didnt even know what micro usb cable was. wow lol
This Office Max NEVER has cashiers at the desk. I have to wait every time I go. They need to either hire more staff or train them to be at their stations!
Clean and corporate as you would expect, service is rude and borderline incompetent. Will possibly change this review if they manage to correct a software activation issue.
The can help a lot when you need copies. A bit understaffed, though.
Customer service has gotten bad! they are under staffed! Are not even on the same page where they want customers to go to check out.
Went into the store and talk about rude! I needed a job bound and I was 8 minutes late to get done same day. It looked like he was just being a lazy —- never again
Convienient but kinda expensive on copies
Bad printing service, I sent a document that it was only 3 pages and they told me that I had to wait 2 hours! bad experience for me...
Everyone is always very nice and helpful.
I went today to officemax that place is terrible...
Ok, hard to find what you need in the store.
Staff super friendly.
Such great employees!!
They have lots of stuff but tends to be over priced.
You can buy office supplies here.
Staff is helpful.
Everything you need and some..
