We went to this cute coffee/book readers heaven on all the days we’ve spent in south lake Tahoe so far. The customer service is very warm and the coffee is good. The place is a collection of furniture, art and books that collectively turns out very cute to be around. You can pick one of their nooks to enjoy your coffee and a book. Would come again.

This is just the best neighborhood coffee shop and bookstore! Dog friendly inside and out. Delicious coffee, pastries, baked goods and lunch foods. Lovely decor with lots of interesting things to browse and look at while waiting for your coffee.

Cuppa Tahoe was so cool. I love the ambiance. Great drinks, and snacks were served. However, the books, cute reading nooks, games, conference rooms, and decor details made this place one of my new favorite stops in south lake. I was in book worm heaven. The last thing I normally rave about in reviews are bathrooms. Yet, their bathroom was so cute decor wise. plus they went above and beyond when it came to sanitation. I wish I had one of these shops in my home town.

Great drinks and food. Amazing, friendly staff and cozy little sitting areas.And so much to look at, books for reading, or buy from a variety of cute little games, books, puzzles and fun things for kids.Just a really awesome place to enjoy coffee and conversation!

The cutest coffee shop I’ve ever been to! This place is a must visit if you’re nearby! We went during the summer and they had the windows open and lots of seating on couches in private nooks. They have a great selection of books to buy. They make their own chai and matcha which is more natural and doesn’t have processed sweeteners, they were both delicious! They also have a huge co-working space and conference room available.

Been here twice now and I have to say its been the best experience! The staff is very friendly, the coffee outstanding and the pastries are delicious! Not to mention you get to sit amongst books. Wonderfully relaxing.

This is a great place to get some quality work done while enjoying fantastic coffee. For students or the work from home crowd, it provides a dedicated room where you can work in solitude. Additionally, also has small cabins where you can take your zoom calls. The coffee shop is adjacent, which is an added plus. The I tried the wifi and it works like a charm. They also have a small collection of books, mostly around travel and Tahoe, which you can also explore. So, if you are planning to get some work done while in Tahoe, I would definitely recommend this place.

Capitalism at its finest! I ask them if they have wifi here when ordering food and they tell me Yes we have free wifi youll see it pop up as guest! I get my food, check the wifi and its asking me for a voucher? So I ask, and then they tell me, well, the first hour is free and then its $3.00 per hour....What? I paid for coffee and food (food was obviously frozen beforehand) in what world do you get charged extra for wifi after you buy food at a coffee place? If you DONT want work/coffee bookstore space that is for that purpose...just say that, plenty of bakeries and coffee shops do.I was disgusted that someone told me one thing when I paid for my food and then something completely different after I paid....pretty shady and gross.If you pay for something at a shop and they offer wifi, you get wifi. Just another place that screws around with poor people. I will not be supporting again.Would have been totally okay if they had made this rule clear when I got my food. But they purposely did not. Not okay. Go to Alpina on Emerald Bay Road instead - old family owned business thats been in Tahoe for many years & FREE wifi and a comfy workspace.PS - used this first hour to write this review.

Absolutely love the cafe. So quaint and pretty. And everyone working at the cafe so kind and nice. This would be my regular hangout if I were living in Tahoe.Stop by for a nice and refreshing coffee or some small eats or even just to read.

I tried the Lavender Cold Brew upon the owners suggestion and was not disappointed. Cuppa Tahoe will become a regular stop anytime Im in South Lake Tahoe.

Cuppa Tahoe has a wonderful atmosphere, good food and a wonderful selection of books. While I was there a mother brought her two daughters in, and one of them said something about staying there forever!

Excellent. The coffee is way better then Starbucks. Please choose this place over Starbucks. Worth it every time. Also dont gamble its not worth it.

Coffee was good. The flavors tasted very natural in my vanilla latte and their bagels were good. The service was friendly.

We loved this coffee shop’s atmosphere! Space for working, hanging out with friends, reading alone, or shopping. They really thought of it all. Staff is very friendly as well. We only got espresso, so we can’t really speak to the quality of food.

Stopped by to buy a book and a few local items and loved chatting with the owner of the shop! Very welcoming atmosphere, expansive menu, and great selection of books to buy and read. The owner gift wrapped the book I bought herself and it turned out beautiful. Will visit again anytime I’m in Tahoe!

Somehow, out of all of the things we did in Tahoe a coffee shop is one of the highlights of our trip. This place has a wonderful feel, warm atmosphere, amazing food and great coffee. I couldnt recommend it more!

This place was such a cool stop. There are all sorts of things to look at (knickknacks and books alike), the people working the bar were extremely friendly, and there was a cute little reading area with a library of books specifically designated for reading. The space is really cute and welcoming. We grabbed two Americanos and a cinnamon roll from the cafe and both were satisfying. There is an adjoined coworking space that looked perfect for anyone looking for a work space.

This is such a cute coffee shop! I got the iced chai latte and it was very good. They have plenty of books if you’re looking for a new read and lots of little spots to settle in with your drink of choice. The barista was very helpful and made sure our drinks were to our liking. This is my new go to coffee shop in town.

What a wonderful spot! I had an oat milk cappuccino and it was spot on. The fact that the barista asked me if I wanted it in a traditional 8 oz cup was even better. Super friendly, super cozy, super delicious! What more can I say 🥰

I love that I can bring my dog. I love that I dont have to have a contract just to cowork - I can pop in and out as I please. Stopped here on the way to a hike. As all the other reviews have said, amazing atmosphere!! While we couldn’t sit inside given the pandemic, we did explore the books and trinkets they had for sale. Drip coffee was excellent! It made me want to buy another bag of the Resilience Blend to go. My friends all got excellent drinks too. One wanted a small change to her drink, as the chai latte didn’t have sugar. They fixed her drink up right away and made sure we were all set to go! Super friendly and helpful staff. Totally would come back!

Most coffee shops dont know how to make a matcha but Cuppa Tahoe does! Ordered an unsweetened matcha with almond milk and man, it was smooth and wonderful!

This bookstore is a great space for learning, celebrating diversity and building community. The owner is very kind and her space couldn’t come at a better time. Attended a book reading from a local artist and enjoyed myself very much. I loved and appreciated all the little details and planning that went into having a great event in such a beautiful and relaxed environment.

Cuppa Tahoe was a wonderful experience for me. It was my first time going and they immediately had a very calming and safe feeling atmosphere. There were many books and many places to sit down and relax in, whether that be outside or inside, you could get completely comfortable. I read for just about an hour before deciding to buy food/drinks. I ordered a smoothie and Cinnamon Roll. Which came relatively quick and tasted amazing. The plants, calming music, and cool colors made it a very relaxing experience. The workers themselves were also very kind and forgiving. I even had a fun conversation with one when it wasn’t busy. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would, it’s a perfect, fun, relaxing experience with very calm and kind people and wonderful food. 11/10. It’s perfect.

We LOVE Cuppa Tahoe! Sandra, the owner, has an amazing talent for interior design and an eye for detail. The selection for vegan options is great including the tuna wrap, mixed berry crumble, and our new favorite, the vegan breakfast sandwich! There is a large selection of specialty drinks, coffee, teas and smoothies. We look forward to cozying up in our favorite bookstore:)

Coffee shop and book store combo with amazing ambiance!

This is certainly one of my best coffee shop experiences to date. If you just want a cup of coffee and be on your way, be my guest, but I assure you that you will want to stick around for a bit. Their specialty coffee is extremely good, that’s not even in question. But the beautifully thought-out space is what makes this place what it is. The owner, Sandra, put a whole lot of thought into every detail of the design (ask her about the bird in the conference room!) and has created a wonderful space for reading, catching up with friends, working, or simply dreaming. Sandra is also very kind and accommodating (she brought out bar stools to sit a group of 10 of my friends in one of the nooks). I guarantee you’ll feel cared for here even before you buy their delicious coffee.I live a whole 2 hours away from here but will certainly be making a few day trips to Tahoe in the near future just to get some more time at Cuppa Tahoe. Couldn’t find any thought diversity in books selection. The bookstore seems to be obsessed with leftist ideology.Also they don’t reuse bamboo plates - not environmentally friendly, at least not during COVID.

I love this place so much! The best matcha and decaf cappuccino I have ever had in South Lake. Also the best coworking space — the mellow music selection is CHOICE, the plant wall is gorgeous, and overall its a very calming, homey, and intimate space. Almost dont want to the word to get out, but I need this place to stick around and thrive. Thank you to the owners for putting such care and love into this spot. Great for Tahoe-related gifts too.
