This is my second time using AB Hadley and both times I’ve had nothing but the greatest service. Professional and thorough. I appreciate being kept in the loop and updated on what’s happening with my vehicle and they did just that. Thank you again!

Our daughter’s car would no longer move when it shifts into any gear. My wife asked online what repair shop would anyone recommend and A. B. Hadley was recommended so we scheduled an appointment. Instead of paying for a tow service to go less than 15 minutes down the road we towed it ourselves. The diagnostics was received the next day as being the transmission with the cost of repair higher than the value of the car. The new transmission cost was reasonable from other shops and even the dealership. However, the labor cost was double then other shops and the dealership was cheaper. We decided to get another opinion which we normally do. This is where it gets really – UNPROFESSIONAL!! The other shop had a towing service and was able to tow our car to their shop. When they showed up they were told they could not have their flatbed on their property and the gentleman move their truck with the flatbed. Not a big deal and maybe there is a liability issue there so no big deal I’m good with it, we will move the car to the road. THEN, we hear a truck start and back up into the street right in front of the truck there to tow my vehicle just to make it harder for the young men to do their job. Then the RUDE gentleman walks right into the shop I’m guessing to make a point! We knew he did it deliberately. The young gentleman was polite and I offered to help push the vehicle into the street to help them out. They declined and said they have it. I cannot comment on their repair services or even the cost like others can. All I can comment on is how UNPROFESSIONAL that individual was and with that I would not recommend going to A. B. Hadley. Who knows what else could be happening in the shop. There was no disrespect on our end, only wanting a second opinion. We love promoting and using local business. This business is a thumbs down.

They did a good job repairing my brake pads and rotors and did a good, comprehensive full inspection, telling me everything that should be done to my car, but Im pretty sure they overcharged me. I paid over $700 for front brake pads, rotors, and a brake fluid flush and while Im not a mechanic and this might be about right, it seems steep to me and others I have spoken to have said it maybe shouldnt have cost this much. Just keep this in mind. They seem to have done a good job and gave me a 3 year warranty for the brakes, but it cost so much, Ill probably look elsewhere next time I need work done.

Great company, I know the owner Tom but I use him and his companies because he teaches all of his staff to be outstanding both in customer service and integrity and hires accordingly. We take our fleet vehicles to him every time and are never dissatisfied. Cant recommend him enough.

It was my first time working with this company but I can say with certainty that I will be a life long customer. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. I personally worked with Jeff and he was an absolute delight. While its never fun to have vehicle repairs, A.B. Hadleys made the process as good as it could be. I am from out of town, and my vehicle broke down late at night a few blocks from the shop. To save me from having to hire a tow truck or drive several hours round-trip the next day, the shop sent a technician to retrieve my vehicle (a Subaru CVT problem), which is really above and beyond my expectations.The diagnosis provided via a webpage was very thorough, clear, and details with pictures of wear items and problems included. The green/yellow/red system of recommendations was easy to follow and make an informed choice on which repairs to prioritize with my vehicle.I would not hesitate to recommend A.B Hadley to anyone needing service in the Ogden area. The service advisor, Jeff, was particularly helpful throughout the entire process and very professional.

I first off have to say that Diana the service advisor was exceptional and probably saved this review from being scored lower. Check in was great, my review comes from two issues I have being a former service advisor and all.1- The pricing was incredibly high, it even cost more then getting the repair done at the actual dealership! Ive never paid more at a local shop then a dealership but i guess theres a first time for everything right. I knew our repair was going to be costly from the estimate I got from the dealership but I really didnt expect to pay more or even the same taking my car to a local shop. Get estimates from different places if you are trying to save money and also parts prices were high here as well, i was quoted far less for parts when I called around. I ended up just getting the repair per busyness of my families schedule and being that the car was there already plus they had great reviews for the most part.2- I had an appointment for Thursday morning to get the car fixed, I knew it was a medium size job so we planned to hopefully get back Friday. Friday came along and no call, no updates until I called in the afternoon and found out my advisor was out and that the car wouldnt be ready until Monday as they were working on other cars??? I gave the approval for the repair on Thursday when I dropped off, why was it pushed back? Why the delay? Well Monday came and I watched my car not get worked on until the afternoon and yup you guessed it they were not 100% confident ready to let it go to be picked up on Monday which I have to appreciate because yes I want it fixed right! I have to say I do appreciate their honesty with that just wish it was sooner. We picked up the car Tuesday and I was surprised they didnt offer anything to help manage the inconvenience.Pros:Clean shop, the text video and pics were great, repair warrantyCons:EXPENSIVE! Could do better with communication. A customer should never have to call to get an update on a vehicle, especially when you give them an expectation.

I have used AB Hadley for my car repairs for years and have always been happy with their work and honesty. I moved away 5 years ago, but ended up buying a car in their vicinity this week. I took the car there for a pre-buy inspection. They fit me into their schedule and gave me a great report with color pictures and lists of work that should be considered if purchased. Their technician was very friendly and professional as always.I highly recommend them for any car repair work.

This was my first time using A B Hadley and I was disappointed in my experience. I gave it two stars because they did do the work on my car and the actual repairs were fine. That being said the diagnostic process I did not care for. I took my car in for very specific electrics issue which they did not take seriously. My main issue was my cruise control isn’t working, and the first time they reached out to me, they said it was working and told me how to use my cruise…as if I didn’t know how my car works?! Then after the 3rd test drive they did in fact see it was not working and that there was an issue but didn’t know how to fix it and said it would take more time to diagnosis. I feel like a lot of expensive time was wasted to show their was a problem that I already told them about. I also told them my rear driver side door latch was not working and they didn’t even diagnosis this issue. Instead I believe they checked the rear hatch which they said was functional and again told me how to work it 😩I specifically came in and told them the problems that I was having… I really don’t feel like I was taken seriously. You have to pay by the hour for them to diagnose and issue that I already told them was a problem.On top of that they did the diagnosis for the whole vehicle and focused more on those issues. It was just very overwhelming to get a whole list of things that were wrong with your car without them fixing the things you specifically brought the car in for.Once I went through and decided what to move forward with fixing I told them I needed my car back by Thursday because we were heading out of town. I was told that this would be no problem. Then at 5:00 Thursday I had not received a call or any information so I called and they were already closed. I hoped that they would call me first thing Friday morning, but I didn’t receive a call so by 10:00 I called. They said they weren’t able to get one of the parts and that it was still being shipped and hopefully would be there later today. My trip ending up being canceled but I did tell them that had it not, this would have been a big issue and the lack of communication was frustrating.Overall, I just don’t feel like this auto shop was the best fit for me. I did not feel like I was taken seriously and the lack of communication was not what I expect.

I truly hate trying to find a new mechanic. We landed at AB Hadley and I am glad we did. Everyone was courteous and professional. There was no high pressure to do expensive repairs not immediately needed. Best of all, the car ran better than when we brought it in. Will definitely use their service in the future. These folks are so nice. They are thorough, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. They sent me a cool virtual inspection of my car that listed everything that needed attention. It described each issue and was easy to understand. I couldn’t afford all of the recommended repairs so I chose two that seemed important (air condition and brakes). That afternoon, the receptionist called and explained the work that had been done. I felt good about the whole experience and I’ll use them again.

So the crew here is fantastic. They went above and beyond for my family and I’m very grateful for their work.

This is the first time I have used this shop. They called me right when the tow truck driver dropped off my car. Very upfront on when they would take a look at my car. I called when I found out I needed a new transmission, the gentleman that talked to me gave me great advice, and they let me keep my car there until I could make a decision. Just went here for an emissions inspection, but theyve been great about letting me just pick their brain with auto questions, especially Chris. Theyve had the opportunity in the past to charge me for things that wouldnt fix my problems and have always been up front and honest about everything. The free Inspection they do with the emissions is awesome and thorough!

I have had my car serviced at Hadleys for many years and have always had excellent service and more than fair prices. More importantly for me as a single woman, I trusted them. Naturally, I was a little concerned when I found there were new owners. However, I was very pleasantly greeted by the new owner who immediately put me at ease. The office has been completely remodeled and is very modern and welcoming. I was especially happy to know that Chris Hadley is still there as a manager and it was great to see a familiar face! They did a thorough evaluation of my SUV, and I received a very detailed report, indicating any items they determined should be fixed immediately, as well as minor items that could wait, and items that were good. It was so helpful. I did have the work done and it was done in a timely manner and I felt the cost was reasonable. All in all a very positive experience and I will definitely keep using Hadleys for any issues with my vehicle.

To say the least Im very impressed its going to take him a week to get to my van because of that booked but they drove me home I wasnt expecting that I said Ill call a taxis it really take a look at everything that I have a cooling problem right now and theyre going to look at everything the family and they cost money but were better off going that way so that everything is checked and then they can tell me what I need now I know I know it has a host is gone I know its I was lucky to make it back down there is headed home but I know theyve been around for a long time I mean a very long time and they got a great name great company I cant remember the late young ladys name but just a she looks so young to know what she knows when he walked out to the car and said just explain to her what I felt you know but she says well well catch everything when we go through it itll be feral and then well let you know what the cost of being so there is an upfront charge but I think thats good in a way that theyre checking deeply not just not just for a hose thats leaking do you know what I mean anyway I would highly recommend this place highly

These guys diagnosed and fixed a transmission problem I was having with my GMC Duramax. I dealt with multiple people both in person and over the phone and each one was very professional and courteous. I really appreciated the report they gave me on a few other things I should consider doing to my truck, but felt zero pressure to do so until I was ready. Very professional and did a thorough inspection on my vehicle, which is fantastic since Utah State discontinued mandatory safety inspections. All of the identified issues were sent with pictures and descriptions via text/email and were ranked in order of importance.Priced fair with the complexities of the newer vehicles and systems that require special tools to diagnose and repair. Very thorough analysis of service 4WD display found transfer case encoder motor needed replacement, A.B.Hadley fixed that but also replaced fluids for brakes, power steering, transfer case, and differentials. They alerted us to brake and shock absorber issues which I fixed, and alignment issues which our regular tire shop handled . A.B.Hadley did a documented review of our 2006 Suburban and printed copies. Diana, Chris, and Jeff were our contacts and did great. We will be back.

I deal with a few repair shops in my industry and these guys are amazing, the way the work and customer service is top notched.

I called to get a price comparison for a oil sending unit installed. I had 3 other quotes.I was quoted a price of $255 out the door. I understand that there can be some other changes due to supplies etc.....but, when I came to pickup, my bill was $543 with no other repairs performed.The shop and people were very clean and professional and the repair was done as expected.

I have always had dependable, trusted service with AB Hadley. Im happy to see that Chris Hadley is still with the shop after new ownership. I had a great experience with getting my oil changed and registration completed. They also added an entire inspection for free, and sent me a text with photos and a link, to show me how the inspection went. This included a rating that told me how urgent the other items were for servicing. I like this proactive service. It lets me know what other maintenance is needed and what is coming up, with no pressure to get it done now.Prices have gone up a little bit, but I still think that it is worth the trusted care. In addition, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Diana, at the front desk is great, and went over the entire inspection with me. She knows her stuff! Also, very cute remodel!

I went in for a diagnostic. They couldn’t give me a Sure diagnosis. They refused to change my fuel filters and bleed the fuel line because it was going to be messy. They could not do all this in a timely manner because they had left a door open and my 8 month old batteries ran dead. They spent the whole day charging the batteries. I won’t take my diesel truck there ever again. They charged me $111.00 for nothing but suggestions.

Short Version: Beyond awesome. Fixed what no one else would fix, the (very) old vehicle is almost like new again. Price was reasonable for the huge amount of work they did. They also did an amazing amount of work very quickly. The new management is doing a great job of modernizing the business. I love the details you are sent with photos of the problems.Full Details: I have a 1992 Ford RV van. Many years ago I made a living as an auto and diesel mechanic, I know vehicles well. I tried to tell people what the problem was and no one would listen. It had dangerously unsafe steering and a few other lesser problems. Otherwise it is great and I didnt want to junk it. I tried for several years to get the steering fixed. I tried the old Hadleys (been using them for 25 years), I tried three different local tire and steering specialists, including Ford specialists. I carefully explained what needed to be checked and fixed. They would promise that what I said made sense and they would check it. It never happened with four different places. It was beyond maddening. I finally made the time to jack the thing up and just fix it myself. I adjusted the steering gearbox and it was mostly fixed. I was then planning on just replacing the gearbox next summer when I would have time. Really, I had totally given up on local companies to repair it. I was also suspect of one of the front wheel bearings, but everyone kept saying it was okay. It was not.I suddenly needed to make an unplanned trip to California and wanted to have the driveshaft and suspension lubed. I took it to the NEW Hadleys and asked them to do a quick inspection while it was up in the air. I never said anything about the other repairs that were needed because I had given up, even on Hadleys.Oh my gosh!! They found every problem that I had been complaining about for three years. I didnt even have to say anything!!!I knew there was a minor problem with one brake rotor, with the wheel bearing, and the major problem with the steering gearbox. I also knew there were a few very minor leaks in the old van. They found EVERY ONE OF THE PROBLEMS. Most inspections are a joke, they check the belts and hoses, glance at the brakes and say they inspected it. The new Hadleys really did a detailed inspection!They rushed to meet my travel deadline and completed all the repairs. It was expensive, but I knew it would be. In fact, they got a price on the gearbox that was better than the prices I had found.Bottom line: The old 1992 van drives the way it is supposed to. It just had many years of life added to it. After three years of frustration the repairs were done in a few days and I now love this van again. I immediately (literally a few hours after I picked up the van from them) drove to San Jose and back and the driving was a joy.

Everyone was very nice and customer orientated. I really liked the new remodel of the the same building. Would very much tell family and friends that A.B. Hadley is where they need to go if they have automotive needs.
