This is a nice Indian grocery store.. they have good Diwali sale on Laxmi brand compared other Indian stores around this area.
One of the best Indian grocery stores in mental NJ - that would carry over to - in the US! Very clean relative to the stores in Iselin and with more select merchandise. Reasonable collection of fresh produce also. Help in the aisles is limited by the cash registers and staff there are efficient and excellent and hence one can avoid the long lines at other grocery stores and departmental store cashiers.
I have had bad experience here many times. Have seen expired items here and vegetables with fungus on it. They put new labels on products to hide the dates, and rub/wipe the printed date from the products. Typical mind of old generation Indian people. They cheat their own community to make money.
Went to South Plainfield location day before today, should have checked the receipt right after the cashier checked me out, but didnt do it unfortunately. When I looked at the receipt at home found out I got billed for an item (pomegranate) that I never bought....they just added that in my total bill. Dont know if it was just a silly mistake or something else, since the no. of items I purchased was only 10 and I highly doubt the cashier for a store like Patidar will get confused and add an item that is never in a basket to be checked out. Guess they just lost my business, wont be going back!!!
Bought some indian sweets, which was by the entrance (Sweet seerney). After reaching home, my little child tasted one and said it was yucky. I then tried some and got sick. When we looked carefully, we could see there was green fungus on many of the pieces. I also bought some veggies, they seemed ok. Overall experience; I would not buy from here. After today, I would not trust anything to give my child first.
The cashier didnt put all the items in cart after billing. Was missing 3 items out if 27. Called back and he said camera shows all bags being dropped. Strange. The value for those items wasnt much but shows their attitude
Indian groceries are available here with Fresh vegetables.
Really good place to get all the Indian Food Items, and especially, Maharastrian products are also available.
Very good Indian grocery
I like the store...but staff needs to be more friendly. I feel that the management seem to be strong old-fashioned thinking. A kind word or a smile will take your store from good to Great.
Great vegetables. Good grocery items.Skip the samosas, they sometimes go bad and management does nit care.Skip the frozen section. Many items are expired.
One of the better Indian grocery stores in the area. I would go to oak tree to buy fresh grocery but this is a good alternative when I am short of time. Their loyalty program was good so, I used to visit them more often. Now that they have got rid of it, not so much but their veggies are generally fresher than some of the other Indian stores in the area.
Good staff.
Excellent curbside delivery. No over charging and no lines
Good quality and good stock.
Nice and convenient store, good staff!
Good variety of Indian grocery
Good selection of Indian groceries with curbside pickup
Clean, good selections, follows covid protocol
Reasonable prices and you will find almost everything related to Indian groceries. The staff is co-operative and helps you finding the items you are looking for. They maintain the quality very well.Keep doing good work.
None of the Patidhar products have a packaging or expiration date ... like grains etc ... also the frozen section is mostly expired. The staff will argue to exchange even if the product has insects.
Clean, pretty decent size..usually have what you want in stock.
Bought the rajbhog brand bengali sweets mix and after opening found out that it was rotten. Most of indian grocery stores freely sell expired items so I always try to be careful but sometimes it’s easy to miss. With covid situation now these guys have free hand to sell whatever they want since all sales are final.
Had been buying grocery from different stores, wanted to try & see how this compares with other stores.Long story short: Not going here again, gonna stick to the ones I usually visit.
Not much crowded. Well organized. This trip I was not looking for anything out of ordinary. But generally you find most Indian things here. And I think it is reasonably priced.
Very good Indian shop for all Indian groceries and fresh vegetables. The staff are very much helpful and friendly. I recommend this store.
A good Indian store but lacks range and choices. The store staff is very helpful and overall a good option for Indian grocery.
Great small location for all your Indian grocery needs
They have great, cheap fresh vegetables.
Nice place to quickly grab groceries and other houses hold stuff. They have fresh vegetables. This place is not crowded like other chain stores. Staff is friendly and quick billing process.
Too much of Products with Palm oil and sometimes a quality is not that good and the prices not quite in line with the other big stores in the market. Having Marketing muscle is not Put to good use to pressure the manufacturers to stop using Palm oil and hydrogenated oils which cause Adverse Health effects especially for children and impact the environment and biodiversity in very negative way. And If they have so much muscle with quite a few stores branded similarly they should be able To offer quality products and fresh products at good prices which they do not.
We go here only sometimes and I am not very fond of this place. Hence, nothing did I miss here.
Their stocks are filled with items that are past expiration date. And when we point out to them they have a attitude. Careless staff and cashiers
Nice small place for quick grocery and veggies. No issues found. I find fresh vegetables stock most of the times.
Very good collection but the downside is the size of the store. On weekends they get crazily crowded which makes your shopping experience little bit hassled. The staff though are always helpful. You also get flowers which is kept close to the checkin counters at the entrance.
Best location for veg
This is a small plaza with good variety of stores, little market, places to eat also. I ordered some food there for me and my kids . Good quality!!
Possibly the best Indian supplies store in the larger area. Has all essential groceries, not just those from the Indian sub-continent.
The phone number on this google site doesnt work. They mentioned to call to place grocery orders for pickup. Dont really know if they are aware of the problem
Stay away. Extremely rude folks. They once sold me a 6 month expired icecream tub that was rotten on the inside and wouldnt return and on another occasion they fought with me (literally trying to grab my bag) over an item that was apparently priced incorrectly on the sticker. INstead of giving the customer the benefit of doubt for a 2$ diff in the marked price and computer price, they cursed at me and wanted me to return the item to them and wouldnt let me go out of the store. Horrible uncouth folks!
Great selection of foods.
Nice place to get all you need in an Indian grocery store. Just wish the vegetable sections were a but neater/cleaner
Visited once and not sure about going again. Found many expired and about to expire items in the aisles. On bringing this up to the counter, they were completely unapologetic and proudly said this is what we have.
They are not talk with customers with respect. If we ask something, they are giving answers rudely. The manager is doing very rudely behavior.
They have very old stock sometimes. Its the only one near, thats why I go there. Its average.
Pradip Patel--- The owner of this place is very nice
Billing has always been quick. Items stacked neatly, but the aisles were not named. Had to enter every aisle to check what was in them. Overall the shop was good.
Always courteous service
Really good prices for everything you need. Vegetables were fresh and well-priced.
Easily accessible store. Very neat compared to other Indian grocery stores. The staff there is very friendly and helps out in every ways and means.
Loaded for the weekend shopping load up.
Huge Indian grocery store and prices are little bit higher comparatively others.. In my last visit I bought big onion bag, almost half of the onions were rotten inside.... I was happened many times.. else everything is fresh and food quality.
HiYour store needs attention. Last 4 times i did not notice the worms and flies inside most the lentil packets. I couldnt figure out how it happened each time. Last weekend i took the masoor dal and it had worms. No one to listen at the store so expressing it here. I like the store and will continue with buying fruits and vegetables but nothing else until you show the proof.
Good place for indian groceries
Super clean and many items grossary items available. Very fresh vegetables foods, maintenance very nice. Respective and co.op nature staff.
Patidar basmati rice is very bad quality compare to other. I always do my grocery from them, unfortunately I have to say although my experience is good about this store and their products, but the quality of their own brand basmati rice is very very bad. It easily breaks when you boil.
I wish i can give less than 1 star. This was my first time. We entered the store at 8:40pm and 9PM was closing time. They were in a severe rush to close the store by 9pm. One of the staff was sweeping all the trash on us. Very poor service. They were behaving as if they are distributing grocery free of cost. I would never come back to this store
Good place to shop; usually they have all the day to day items for Indian cooking and household. Prices like any other Indian place are hit or miss and just like all other Indian Cash and Carry places, the vegetables are a hit or miss depending on the delivery and availability. While there is nothing extraordinary about this place, it does save me the trip of driving all the way to Iselin.
Its a small store, but all the necessary items can be found very easily. Clean and not crowded.
Clean Indian grocery store. Nicely organized. If people at counter could use smiles.
Quaintness - 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠South Indian Item Availability - 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠Customer Service - 💛💜💛
Went there recently to try this shop out and loved it instantly. Very neatly arranged stuffs and high quality brands. Only problem being it is priced a bit high than similar indian stores.
Very good store with variety of options but staff are not friendly..so 1 start less.
Smaller in size, compared to IGO nearby, however its organized very well. Veggies are fresh and prices are reasonable compared to nearby indian grocery stores.
Very nice people are working this place 👍
One of the Good Indian Store near Piscataway..
Has most of the day to day stuff. Personalized service. Competitive prices
Veggies are fresh when compared to other Indian stores close by. Items are better organized and clean
The food item like biscits and sweets are not good at all. they are not maintaing proper dates on it
Wish I could give 0 stars. All the grocery items, from Patidar Rice, Besan, Rice flour to Puffed rice, all of them seemed very old.Found worms in the rice and stale smelling Besan and puffed rice. Rice flour seemed to be stale and mixed with maida.Extremely disappointed!! Would never recommend. You just lost a customer.Used to be a regular customer but, will not suggest this place to anyone, anymore.
Vegetables are always fresh! they have good amount of stuff in very cozy place!
Nice small store for Indian groceries, beware of the mfg dates, products are priced a little more compared to patels on oak tree. But its close by to people around South Plainfield and Piscataway
Price slightly higher compared to oak tree rd. Decent selection of vegetables and indian groceries. Good frozen items.
Groceries look good here, but the staff is very arrogant. There is this average tall indian guy, with a mustache, at the checkout counter. I asked him about some items and he gave me an angry look as if I stole something from his store. Moreover, that guy was extremely rude. I am not going back because of that guy. He has to learn about how to treat customers.
Fresh and good products
You have to carefully check your bill. They overcharge
Its one of the best Indian store where you will get all the Indian grocerys and other stuff.
Decent selection of ingredients and always helpful with a non Indian customer
Good place for Indian groceries. Fresh produce
The place generally has everything we needed but be careful when buying bread and other such things, they dont have an expiration date and usually expire within a day or so of buying them
Cashier would not take my credit card for $4 sale, she needs cash. There was no sign at the store. It is illegal to put minimum in the purchase, they might get fine one day.
I went on a Saturday afternoon, the veggies were really fresh and prices are reasonable.
Good place for getting all kind of Indian grocery.
Very decent Indian grocery shop with quality products.
Great place for all Indian veggies and food materials.
Perfect, always petfect. i drive forty minutes to get there. thats how good it is. the only bad thing.....no free flihht to india☺ otherwise this store is top. love it.
Reasonable prices. not as crowded as other indian grocery stores.
Overall good but sometimes vegetables are not fresh..
Good collection of Indian groceries
Good place to buy all Indian grocery needs
Nice place to buy Indian grocery items at reasonable price. They have almost everything you need for daily use in kitchen.
Good store with fresh vegetables and frozen items
Nice and clean. Well structured. Find items bit costly thought.
Here we get Fresh Vegetables & Indian Groceries easily...
The staff are very unprofessional and has an attitude. When you are in customer facing position try to be a little friendlier.
Good Indian grocery market in Piscataway
The prices are bit high. They opened 7 days a week. They do sell mirchi pakora & Samosa each 1$.
Great prices, great range of groceries, love me some snacks.
