I bought a refurbished computer. I understood it had a one year guarantee. It didnt. The computer died and they wont touch because it wont turn on. The serial number on the case was 13 years old. There tech guy said the could not even get parts for it. HP told me every part for this machine was in stock. I wont be buying anything here again because Staples does stand being the things the sell. When I bought it they said it had a one year guarantee. They did not know what they were saying or lied.

Overall, the store is always understaffed, you can never find anyone to help support your buying decisions, and today I was told by a Manager that they are too busy to help order some thing that was out of stock after I waited 20 minutes in line. I went on to explain that everyone’s busy and everyone is understaffed as it is a very common problem here in Maine and we all need to figure out how to proceed as this is a common denominator for most! Don’t waste your time or energy and literally go anywhere else besides the Staples location. Staples - hire better, support more, and get it together! Businesses, Students, and People count on you!!!

Terrible Customer service. Employee discussion about training cant be interupted for a quick question. Never again. Best Buy from now on for computer equipment and Amazon for office supplies.

I dont recommend ordering business cards from them! I Ordered online and selected thick paper and glossy. Paid double the price from for it. I have received the thinnest business cards i have ever seen. At the store they claimed that i have received a better quality cards. The cards could not look any cheaper....Taking my business somewhere else.

This is the fourth time I’ve been here in the last three months or so with needs for my very small business, and every time the experience has been wonderful. Anything I’ve thought I couldn’t find they’ve found for me, and both Spencer and Jeff have been terrific to work with. While Staples is a large corporation and I’m trying to support local businesses in this time, I will continue to give them my business as I truly feel like the employees want to give the best customer service possible and I enjoy my experience here. Also, easy to use rewards program is a bonus.

The most rude unhelpful copying center. A total willingness to not satisfy the customer. Suggestion make your personal spend a day with Newington NH store, and try to learn a can do attitude. You presently fail customer service!

SO WASTEFUL AND LAZY! I ordered a number of small items via their website and was very disappointed to realize that they sent each item individually, in way oversized boxes, stuffed with non-recyclable plastic. Staples clearly doesn’t care about their impact on the environment, or future generations. I will never order from this company again for this reason. (Check out the packing used to ship a single box of tacks!)

Had a great experience buying over the phone for curbside delivery. The manager and associate I spoke with were both friendly and knowledgeable. And they were able to work out a discrepancy between the website and in store pricing with my Business Staples Plus membership. Very pleased and would recommend anyone to call and use their curbside service.

We bought a new computer yesterday and picked it up today. Halima Aden the sales manager was fantastic! She set the computer up completely with everything we wanted so all we had to do was plug it in and turn it on. She was very knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant to work with. I am a confirmed office supply lover, so Staples is always a delightful place to go from my perspective. I always find that Im looking for, and generally more, lol. The site is neat, well organized, and well stocked, but also has surprises. This time they have a new art supplies section that looks fun. So there is lots to enjoy in this fine store.

Walked in an hour before they close asking for 200 gloss copies. Not only did they deliver, they made the experience fun and were eager to make it happen for me from the start. Excellent service from Jennifer and Halima.

Came into the store for a return of an online item. I was past the 14 day return policy for tech items by a week, because I thought there was a typical 30 day return policy.Deb the store manager was very unhelpful and not interested in providing any sort of customer service. I later got the return approved online, which made me wonder what the point of box stores are if they aren’t able to give in person service. I won’t be returning to this store.

Ive been using this store for a very long time, i am a business owner and like to buy local to keep money in our community and locals employed. i came in the other day to purchase a new all in one printer and toners, when i finally got to the register i was hit with the usual questions about staples rewards and extended service contracts. i was polite and low key when I refused what was being offered. I had told him at least 3 times that i was not interested and i would like to pay full retail and leave because i needed to get back to the office.I might as well have been talking to the wall because hey continued to run his mouth about the benefits of the service contract that I already told him I wasnt interested in, very pushy and zero regard for my time or for my request to just pay and leave. I then just left my printer at the counter with him and left the store empty handed, once back at the office I got online and ordered what I wanted hassle free off of Amazon!

This Joe Murphy guy must have been the one that made his experience miserable. I have been here multiple times and the employees are always trying to do whats best for me. One of the cashiers knew about a $10 coupon one time that would be printed after the transaction. She recommended that I buy a pack of gum so I could use it on another transaction. She saved me money, even though she had to ring me up TWICE for it to work. Great place, highly recommend!

Its a Staples store, they do pretty well at providing their general services and supplies.

Placed an order with the print shop and was told itd take at least a week. Over two weeks later, I get an email saying that theyre done and that I could come pick them up. I stopped by the next day and the entire order was missing.The woman working at the printshop first tried to tell me that someone had already picked them up (which is impossible) and then told me theyd been sitting around for over 7 days and had been thrown away. She said shes cleaned up all the old orders the day prior and that Id have to provide the files again and start over.What Im pretty sure happened is that nobody ever actually started the order. Instead, it sat around in the system for a couple weeks until she cleaned up old orders. Likely, she marked the order as printed and picked up, just to get rid of it.Im lucky, in that the event I needed my prints for was rescheduled. But Im still going to take my business somewhere that doesnt lose it for weeks and then try to claim that someone picked it up.

STAPLES COPY CENTER LOST MY PARENTS WEDDING PICTURE WHICH WAS THE ONLY PICTURE I HAD OF THEIR WEDDING!!!!!! 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND I NOW HAVE NO PICTURE......VERY SAD AND DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LACK OF SYMPATHY ON THEIR PARTMy experience at Staples the South Portland store has been a nightmare. Started ok until when I got the invites I never recd the original picture back! I called as soon as I got home and they then found it. I asked that they hold it as I was going to have banners made for the party. When I went in to order the banners they could not find the original picture. They told me they would look for it and call, I recd a message saying we search but can not find the picture Sorry have a wonderful day!!!! I still have the message on my phone as a reminder of their uncaring attitude!My day was ruined after receiving that call. I returned their call and told them the importance of the picture and I heard no remorse in the womans voice (Samantha) only that she told me that she wasnt going to speak to me because I was upset and speaking loudly. I was told if things are left after 20 days they get shredded, even after I had told them I was doing wedding banners for the party with their store.I cant express my emotions only to say I will NEVER do business with such a careless attitude as I received from Staples of South Portland Maine!!!!

Spent some time in the documents and copying Center. They make it pretty easy to print out documents that are email attachments or even to get them from Dropbox or your Google Drive. The help was very friendly and attentive and helpful.

Be careful. Just bought a new Epson printer. The tech guy wasnt happy that I didnt buy the extended warranty. He tried to tell me that the one year warranty started when the printer was manufactured. Not true. Its from the date of purchase. Dont trust the guy with long fingernails.

I use the Copy Center for my business and have only had such positive experiences there. Turnaround is always faster than quoted and they go out of their way if you need something ASAP. I will continue to purchase my business promo material from their South Portland location and appreciate their level of professional customer service, quality, and value of products.

First of all, to Crusty Kreme, Woody Buzz would have no idea of knowing it was a 12 year old writing the review because the review was edited. Initially it never said he was 12, so Woody Buzz would have no idea. Second, its illegal for a 12 year old to have a job anywhere, regardless, so not quite sure what you are talking about in terms of making money at that age. And finally, I myself had a wonderful experience like Woody Buzz did. Excellent employees and service. Not sure too many people can take any of you seriously with a name like Crusty Kreme or Woody Buzz

Very, very busy with all checkouts open. New person was running the printshop & should have had someone with him. He was great at customer service but the equipment was too new to him.

This Staples is about average for a Staples outlet. They have UPS shipping if you need to drop off a package.A better deal if you are a business owner or operator is to order at Staples online for delivery to your office. You select your local store and the items almost always arrive at our office the next day with no delivery charge.

Staples is a great supplier of business goods, which we also use in our home. I found the pen/pencil holder I needed.

Hardly have a stock. They dont even carry blank 4x6 cards. Walmart has them for 89cents

This is a big Staples with a lot of stuff. I wanted my no. 3 hard lead pencils for carpentry, and was not disappointed.

Horrible customer service. I just needed to print 7 pages. Their self-service machines were having issues so I tried to get help at the desk. The dude behind the desk informed me that they didnt have time to print anything for me, and proceeded to walk back to the backroom where he and 2 other employees went back to gossiping while he sipped his coffee. OK, fine, I managed to get the pages to finally print on the self-service machine and then went back up to the desk to see if they could laminate the pages, had no luck getting anyones attention. I decided to look in the store to pick up a box of laminating sheets to do it myself. I couldnt find them and the one employee I saw went out of his was to avoid any customers he saw. I wont be back. Ill be taking my business account elsewhere as well.

They are low on staff, had to wander around by myself to find anything I needed. Prices on their website was better

When I went to staple today I had a liquid shield on my iPhone six s plus and I thought it was going to help with not getting scraches, but actually when it was on my phone there was fuz under the liquid shield and it dried with scraches all over my phone and can not even get the scraches off. I recommend not going to staple or at least not buying this liquid shield.
