Absolutely awful. Terrible customer service. Steel and Aluminum company that cant get steel and aluminum.

I would give 5 stars if I was able to grab my material same day but I get why they cant facilitate same day requests. Order a day in advance and delivery is free. Good material and fair prices. Not the place I use for my small stuff though

I have now been here two different times, and both times I was sent away and told to go to another place to get the aluminum materials I needed. The first time was in 2019. So they can’t ise covid -19 as an excuse like they did this time. Both times I left there feeling like they just don’t want to do business with me or my company. That’s fine, they won’t ever see me again. My company has thrived from word of mouth advertising over the past 15 years. I’ll be sure to spread the word about how I was treated and the service they wouldn’t provide.

Firstly, this place is a wholesale distributor so as long as you have weight youll get really good numbers. I will say there were a few issues with my order but they went above and beyond to make it right. The material looked like it was straight from the mill so overall I was very happy. On my small orders, I usually try Tri-State Steel or even Tri-Tank in Westbrook.

Any time I have needed anything that they carry, they have always been professional and helpful. No mater the quantity. I am a small GC. American Steel & Aluminum has a lot of products.

Make sure you call a day ahead to get materials. Just wanted three 2”x20’ pipes and was told can’t pick it up same day. Don’t they have a shop guy? I mean how long would it take to grab those three pipes and cash out?

If youre having steel problems, I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems but Portland pipe aint one!Just call Collins pipe. No fuss, no hang ups, no attitude.

Make sure to call when the front desk is having a good day. Otherwise you will get rude behavior and get hung up on

They only have big sizes, if youre a small guy go somewhere else
