This place has always been very helpful and never had any issues at all. Found what I needed and only received quick great service overall from them.

Their hardware selection looked good, but what I wanted to do was to compare lumber prices and quality. I went by their lumber and not a single price was listed. No price per foot or anything. Most didnt even have the correct label of what they were -- yes, I can tell the difference between redwood and red oak. This is a thing for me because I want build some kind of trust with a shop, so either they knew that prices would scare folks away or they were going to fudge prices for friends. Nobody was around to talk to, so I just left.

I went early on a Saturday and everyone was so helpful and nice. I bought some lumber for a garden bed to bring home with me that day, and more for delivery to repair our fence that I couldn’t fit in my car. Easy, reasonably priced, and great customer service. Support local!

What a great lumber yard! Its big and has all the hardware supply you need. If youre looking for paint this is a great place to get it. Everyone there is ready to help with your project!

One of the worst places I’ve ever delivered to, employees are not friendly, not helpful, they act like they hate their job and they take it out on the public. Horrible place horrible employees

What a great decision It is was to go with South City Lumber There were so many choices when googling bi-folding doors. I contacted Erika and went to view set of bi-folds they had on display. They have an Ag product that just seemed to be a lot more heavy duty. There was no pressure; we could choose whichever we wanted once we went away to think about options. The price was good, and the service exceptional. The doors were available much quicker than indicated, which worked out great as it didnt hold up any of the internal works of our extension. I wouldnt hesitate recommending Erika at South City Lumber Fabulous and professional ! Go see her and let her know Bill sent ya you won’t be disappointed !

Ive lived near this place for years and did not know about it. I thought it was mainly for sale of Lumber aimed at contractors. But when I walked in I was amazed at the multitude of supplies. It is truly a large hardware store with plenty to choose from.

Went in on a Saturday for a small transaction. Had a company card that the chip went out. The manager would not let me use it even though I offered my ID which matched the card. Even offered him to take a picture of my truck with my registration. He would not listen to reason. I had to use my personal card with the same exact name that the chip worked. Got my lumber, but will not use this place again.

Nice little neighborhood hardware store. The selection isnt huge, but they have what you need and the service is good and friendly.

Place has good selection of harder to find building materials, but its a bit dated - could you a serious face lift.

Needed to put up a few signs and I was kind of grumbling to myself all day that it would probably cost me $20 or something. But they hooked me up with some scraps and more importantly didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need.

Didnt find weed wacker wire only because craftsman products have to be different from the rest other than that everytime Ive been there looking for something they got it and very knowledgeable five star help

This is your classic local hardware store they have nearly anything you might want and even better people who know what you need when you dont. I highly recommend them.

Knowledgeable staff, very complete stock and can order specialty woods and sizes quickly. A great lumber yard, forget the box stores, this is a more complete solution for pro and homeowner alike.

Garbage wannabe lowes or home depot. Went in for a tape measurer and quick bathroom. Instantly, treated like a thief when i asked where the RR was. Got out and asked where the tape measurer where, only to be told I must be dumb if i cant choice within 1 minute of looking at them. If your so worried of being robbed get some cheap cameras instead of harrassing the customers. Or maybe it was just Im Mexican and at this particular establishment they prefer only white customers. Looks rundown, likely wont exist soon anyways. I guess thats what happens when you have such garbage business practices.

Im shopping here a couple weeks ago and its give me a good deal can I buy a lot of parts in the equipment for a very good price

This place has the most everything you need from Lumber to plumbing supplies 2 Building Supply. It is close to my home you are in and out in a Flash and a customer service is great

Too expensive ! ! ! Very overpriced ! ! ! On a few random items, they were 25% more than Golden State but mainly 20% on everything else. And also, let me add that Golden State is overpriced to start out with ! This is the reason I $hop at The Home Depot & Lowes.
