Couldn’t be less helpful. We were having trouble with our alarm which was signaling to the fire station who came to our house several times but we could not get Alarm New England to come to the house to shut it off because it “didn’t meet the criteria” as alarm wasn’t making a noise in the house. But it was making a noise in the fire department but apparently that’s not enough. Fire Dept was as annoyed as we were. Thank goodness it wasn’t a real emergency- hope they’d be more helpful if it was but they didn’t give us much confidence!

Yesterday I had an upgrade done to my alarm system and want to say the Installation Technician, Charlie, went above and beyond to install my upgrade. It wasnt just a new panel, it was the moving of one existing device. Charlie made it happen. I couldnt be happier.I have been with Alarm New England for over 9 years. They are and have always been there when Ive needed them. Their customer service is exceptional, the sales staff is very thorough and installation again above and beyond.Great job and peace of mind safety for me and my home!I

Adam actually arrived a bit early. He was polite, extremely knowledgeable and cost conscious. Alarm NE took the system over from a less reputable company - brought it up to speed and all good since! He walked us through more info than the other company ever did so we have a better understanding of how things work and what to do if something fails.All good!

Can’t speak to the alarm monitoring (yet), but the sales team and tech team have both been amazing! I’m very impressed so far. They are attentive and prompt and willing to work outside of normal business hours, which is huge! They accommodated my work schedule and had a tech come over on Saturday morning for my takeover. Chris showed up on time and was completed in 1-1.5 hours. Really amazing impression so far.

After extensive research, I had an alarm system installed by Alarm New England yesterday. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The employees I came in contact with were each terrific. The first person was Liam in sales. He spent so much time going over everything with me without any pressure but making me feel like he truly cared about having a happy customer not just a sale. Next was Bob, a senior technician, with the company who has been doing installations for over 20 years. He was punctual and went over where each piece of equipment was going to be placed. He was as fussy as I was to locate things so they were not as noticeable. I really appreciate that Bob is their own employee not a subcontractor. Today, Connie called me to go over the alarm app, the cameras and full instructions on the system. She spent so much time with me practicing and assuring me to contact her with any future questions. Alarm New England is unlike most companies today. I feel like they actually care about their customers. What drew me to Alarm New England in the first place was their excellent reviews and that it is a family owned company. I know when I need something, they are there for me and care about protecting my home and family. I am so happy with the decision I made to have Alarm New England as my security company.

We had an existing alarm system and the service was horrendous. The company spent months and multiple visits trying to get everything working. I called New England Alarm and was impressed by their staff and commitment to make things work.The two technicians came over and quickly diagnosed the issue. They installed a new control panel and were able to integrate the existing sensors and cameras. The new equipment worked perfectly. I was shown how to manage the upgraded panel and everything was finished in a few hours.The following day I got a call from the New England Alarm offices making sure I was happy. I was given a direct contact number and promised to help me with any questions.10 out of 10!

I was very impressed with the customer service at Alarm New England. They were very responsive. As soon as I was ready to activate my alarm, they immediately reached out by email and phone to help. Connie was happy to accommodate my schedule and talked me through activation after 6pm. She followed up with additional video help and offered to help me as needed over the weekend. I could not have asked for a more responsive, helpful and positive experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of an alarm system.

I got this service in order to sell a townhouse and the service request was handled promptly and professionally. I was told at the time I requested the service that I would need to sign up for a month of monitoring which I agreed to do. At the end of the month when I called to cancel I was initially told cancellation required a 30 day notice. The local team made it right and I appreciate their efforts. Thank you Dorothy!

I have been a customer with Alarm New England for the last few years, since their acquisition of my previous company HB alarm. During this time I have made several upgrades to my system. Each time I have received great direction with the most efficient and cost effective route to follow. The service is performed by knowledgeable, courteous people and is always done within the time frame they provide to you. In addition. their monitoring service is second to none. On many occasions I have accidentally set off my alarm and before I can get to the phone to let them know of my mistake they are calling to check on me. All in all a company I would highly recommend.

Ive had a less-than-stellar new-customer experience: a mistake by the salesperson cost me close to $200 when the new security system was installed, and a mistake today by the billing department would have cost me another couple of hundred dollars if I didnt catch the issue in my checking account. And Ive only been a customer for 2 weeks!! At least the installer (Adam) knew his stuff and was great at his job. I hope the future brings better luck than the past.

We have been using Alarm New England for years. We are very happy with the company over the past few years. The most important thing to us is to be called when the alarm goes off to make sure things are OK in the event that this was not set off by mistake by us and we are not home to verify - which is being done.My only want would be to be able to pay online verses sending in payment as I do not want automatic payments done by the company - I would rather be able to pay online myself.

The installer was great - very professional and knowledgeable. The technical support person was fantastic - she quickly diagnosed the issue (which ended up to be related to my home Wi-Fi signal) and offered to walk me through correcting the issue so that I did not have to go to Comcast for support. She then gave me her direct number in the event that future questions arise. Customer Support is outstanding!

New England Alarm is 5-stars in my book!! I’ve been through a few alarm guys and you’re not gonna get a better customer experience. Not to mention the techs are so knowledgeable and professional, they really know what they’re doing!! I’m a goof and set off my alarm by mistake all the time but they always call right away no matter and are real polite about it. They have my business for the long haul. Recommend!!

Beware of Alarm New England and their deceptive marketing and sales practices. They will tell you almost anything to lock you into a long-term contract then have you pay an exorbitant amount to terminate services. The customer service is subpar. You’ll get an automated message when calling in, then after holding for several minutes you can expect to be transferred from one department to the next because no one has answers for anything. I had a system that often had false alarms and their so-called fully-trained and fully-licensed technicians could not resolve the issue. To make matters worse, they stuck me with a service fee of hundreds of dollars for having faulty equipment that they sold to me then tried to sale me on a maintenance plan AFTER which was tied to a three-year contract. This company does not value their customers as much as they will have you believe in the beginning. It’s all about how much money they can get from you. I would expect this from a larger, national company like ADT but being local and family-owned is what’s supposed to set these guys apart. I would not recommend Alarm New England.
